Chapter 423: Multiple Endings to Choose From, Plus an Author's Closing Remarks

I thought about it, and if all the female supporting characters had their own endings, it would be too much, and the story would eventually become a bulldozer novel. So I decided against it and decided not to. I'll just write down the characters here. If you want to see more interactions between the characters, please leave a comment, like adding one comment to the list. If there are multiple comments, I'll consider writing a side story after the story is finished.

Add a commentary to the following paragraphs featuring female supporting characters:

Nika the fox spirit.

Angel Rita.

Succubus Fanny.

Sister Ara.

Princess Sheila.

Linda the singer.

Princess Shirley of the Kingdom.

Bernice, the legal feminist world.

Delia the dwarf.

Vampire Vicky

Rachel, the goddess of water.

Louise, the goddess of music.

Source Network, Magic Network Goddess's 'Mysterious Real Name'

Yuna, the Earl's daughter.

...

...

I don't know if there are any omissions. If there are, please comment and let me know. If you want to see interactive scenes that aren't with the female supporting character, you can also comment and tell the author. Of course, if you're interested, you can also write an interactive scene yourself and send it to me, and I will post it as a side story.

Author, I just remembered, there's information about the whereabouts of the legendary Will, but I forgot to mention Vicky's whereabouts. I'll go back and revise it to fill in the gaps in the side quest, and add a few paragraphs. Basically, it's about falling into another dimension and returning on its own after the boundary is opened.

The story is too long, and there are countless plot holes. If there are any other unresolved plot holes, please let the author know, and the author will probably explain them or write a side story.

Adding a few more words:

I feel like I'm not very good at writing about romance, probably because I don't have enough experience. In the future, I'll consider writing novels without a female lead or with a single female lead. Before starting this book, I watched a lot of anime, some of which had multiple female leads. Of course, I also watched action novels without female leads. But never mind, it seems like anime storylines aren't very popular in the early stages.

Around 200,000 words, I felt that writing battle scenes was too mentally taxing, so the later parts mainly focused on farming with little combat. I don't know if it felt empty or superficial, as most of the battles in the mid-to-late stages were just mentioned in passing.

There are probably some minor errors or flaws in the book, but it's too difficult to correct them all. I can only say that I'll fix them as I see them.

Thinking back, the reason I made more mistakes earlier might be because I wasn't very comfortable with Wubi input method, and also because my thought processes from the previous book carried over, such as getting the main character's name wrong in the early episodes...

Sometimes I know that revising twice will reduce a lot of mistakes, but revising twice is too tiring, so I don't want to do it a second time. I feel that it is better to save more drafts and review them more often in my spare time, then there should be fewer mistakes.

I probably won't be considering Western fantasy for a long time, because the terminology in Western fantasy is too troublesome. As I write, other terms, such as ancient Eastern terms or modern terms, sometimes cause readers to feel out of place, as some readers have mentioned.

My approach to writing Western fantasy in light novels is not appealing to either side. It doesn't work well in the later stages of light novels, and longtime readers who frequently read Western fantasy in the early stages often get distracted and leave. In the future, I will be careful not to write soft science fiction content in these genres, unless I want to write science fiction novels.

Actually, most readers left after the second chapter. Fantasy, potions, mysterious rituals for advancement, and pure wizarding stories might have been more appealing. Now that I think about it, for a light novel, introducing something like cells in the second chapter was a real mistake.

I'll consider more what my partners objectively like and less subjective content. I don't rule out things like analyzing fire-related books, but I don't want to consider fire-related books. I'd rather write my own. Whether it succeeds or not is up to fate.

For the foreseeable future, I will be writing more online games, fanfiction, and ancient history stories, which are also fanfiction. I will consider writing about reality after a longer period of time.

The realistic writing style became too heavily influenced by scientific thinking towards the end, making it difficult to relax.

In this story, the protagonist never directly kills any human. I don't want to write about killing, so I won't use those ruthless and decisive words typical of online novels. Online games are fine; without real-world elements, it's always easy to read! I'm also considering live streaming, which should be easier to write and attract more readers.

Looking at the list now, it seems like what I want to write about is a relatively niche topic, which makes me feel a bit hopeless.

For a long time, the author couldn't get into any of the online ranking lists. He needed to change his mindset and try to empathize with the author's past love of reading.

Starting with humor is the safest bet, but I don't feel like I have much of a comedic talent right now. I might try something like "Ten Days" or "The Lost City," which involve constant life-or-death crises.

The criteria for a book's survival must be clearly defined from the very beginning, so that readers won't feel reluctant to cut it. Otherwise, I won't be able to write another million words, and I won't have many more chances to be capricious.

...

Okay, let me briefly explain my current plans.

...

...

The End.

Friends, see you again someday.
