Huiwenye extra chapter 2

Huiwenye extra chapter 2

Sitting in the cleaned curry shop, Tsurumi Kawakami kept staring at Dazai Osamu. Dazai Osamu clutched his black overcoat, his expression gradually freezing, and finally, defeated, he was the first to look away.

"Are you an idiot? What are you staring at me for? Or has your walnut-sized brain forgotten who I am?" The black-haired, kite-eyed boy complained uncomfortably in a low voice.

They had completely lost the authority of Mafia officials.

His awkward yet sarcastic tone instantly transported Tsurumi Nagare back to the time he met Dazai Osamu many years ago.

Tsurumi Kawakami rested his elbows on the table, propped his chin on his hands, and smiled brightly, his eyes crinkling. "Dazai, it's so good to see you again!"

Dazai Osamu was speechless for a moment, then chuckled while rubbing his forehead: "Damn it, I'm really defeated by you."

After chatting, Dazai Osamu, thinking about the mess at the curry shop earlier, became curious about why Tsurumi Kawaru would be there.

"Ah, me?" Tsurumi Kawakami scratched his cheek and said embarrassedly, "I was hungry, but I didn't have any money. The shopkeeper kindly let me in, so I plan to work to pay for my meal."

Dazai Osamu: "Really? The 'idiot' style is really amazing, appearing and disappearing in a whimsical way. Did he really go to save the princess?"

Tsurumi Kawakami opened his mouth, looking conflicted, but finally closed it.

He shook his head and asked, "Where's Dazai? What were those gray-robed men doing here? I heard one of them ask Uncle Oda Sakunosuke about his whereabouts. Were they looking for the person who came with you?"

Just as Oda was mentioned, he came downstairs. After calming the children down and asking the shopkeeper about what had just happened, Oda Sakunosuke already knew that it was Tsurumi River School who had helped.

He went over and thanked him.

Seeing him chatting happily with Dazai Osamu, he suddenly remembered something, stared at Tsurumi Kawakami for a few moments, and compared him to a scene from his memory many years ago.

"You're the one who lent me Natsume-sensei's book at the clinic before, right? Back then, I was a postman and delivered a letter to the clinic in Leibo Street."

Upon hearing Oda Sakunosuke mention this matter, Tsurumi Kawaru looked at the red-haired youth in front of him and finally remembered.

Seeing that the two of them had suddenly started talking and he couldn't get a word in edgewise, Dazai Osamu tapped the table with his finger to draw their attention.

"Let's save the reminiscing for later. Let's talk about Mimic first." Dazai Osamu looked at Oda Sakunosuke, and after the latter fell silent, his gaze shifted to the bewildered Tsurumi Nagaru.

“It was a bit troublesome before, but now that Idiot Ryu is here, this matter is much easier to resolve.” Dazai Osamu rested his chin on one hand, a smile playing on his lips as he looked at Tsurumi Kawa Ryu.

"Mr. Mori would be very happy to know that Ryu is back."

Mafia Building.

The leader's office.

Mori Ougai, who was picking out a dress for Alice, sneezed. Alice took the opportunity to run to the side and continue drawing while lying on the table.

Mori Ougai, holding the pink tutu in her hand, suddenly had a bad feeling. She looked up at Ozaki Koyo, who was sitting on the sofa drinking tea.

"Kurenai-kun, has the intelligence department received any new information about Yokohama recently?"

Dressed in a maple-colored kimono, Ozaki Koyo set down her teacup, looked up at Mori Ougai, and said with a warm smile, "If the leader is referring to mimic—"

Mori Ōgai shook his head: "No, it's something else."

Ozaki Kouyou lowered her gaze to the clear, black tea in her cup, and said thoughtfully, "Has the leader discovered something?"

Mori Ougai found it difficult to explain the sudden sense of crisis that had just arisen in his heart. He remained silent for two seconds, quickly reviewed his recent plans in his mind, and felt that he might be overthinking things.

He returned to his desk, interlaced his fingers, and resumed his usual reliable demeanor as the leader: "Nothing. By the way, where did Dazai go today?"

Ozaki Koyo: "I didn't see him today. Why don't you call and ask, Chief?"

Mori Ougai thought about Dazai's recent silent and out-of-control state due to the plan, and shook his head with a headache: "Forget it. If Chuuya's progress has stabilized recently, send someone to replace him."

Ozaki Koyo stood up, nodded respectfully, and then turned and left with the leader's latest orders.

Curry shop.

Tsurumi Kawaru exclaimed in surprise, saying indignantly, "That Mimic leader challenged Oda Sakunosuke to a duel just because his ability is similar to Oda Sakunosuke's. When Oda Sakunosuke refused, he used a child as leverage—it's despicable! So wicked!"

He looked at Oda Sakunosuke with righteous indignation, completely unaware that he had been corrupted by Dazai Osamu, and even started calling him "Oda Sakunosuke": "Don't worry, Oda Sakunosuke! I'll go with you!"

Just now, Oda Sakunosuke decided to keep the appointment.

After all, Mimic acts too recklessly. This time, he was lucky to escape with the help of Tsurumi Kawakami, but no one knows if he will be so lucky again.

Mimic's use of the child as leverage crossed Oda Sakunosuke's bottom line, so he decided to fight Mimic to completely eliminate this threat.

In the past, Dazai Osamu would definitely have told Oda Sakunosuke not to go to the appointment. He had Mafia intelligence sources and knew about the supernatural abilities of Mimic leader Gide. He and Oda Sakunosuke had fought before, and in the end, they could only have suffered heavy losses.

But now, as the dark, piercing eyes of the kite looked at the indignant Tsurumi Kawa, a sudden light appeared, and Dazai Osamu's expression was no longer somber.

He smiled slightly, looked at them, and said, "Then add me to the list."

Before the red-haired youth could utter a word of refusal, he saw Tsurumi Kawakami hook his arm around Dazai Osamu's shoulder, looking at him with a relaxed expression and an expectation in his eyes that made it impossible for him to refuse.

Finally, Oda Sakunosuke went upstairs to give some instructions to the children, and then spoke to the shopkeeper.

The three left the curry shop and headed toward the address that Mimic leader Gide had given to Oda.

On the way, Tsurumi Kawaru was attracted by the aroma of a shop selling simple sweets. He glanced into the shop and could see various sweets and pastries displayed on the wooden shelves through a floor-to-ceiling window facing the street.

"Dazai, let's go to this shop and buy some sweets when we get back."

Dazai Osamu was in a good mood and waved his hand, readily agreeing.

Inside the shop, a detective wearing a hat and a brown cloak glanced at them casually as they stood in front of the wooden shelves selecting pastries.

"Hmm, something big is about to happen. The president won't have to worry about that mimic anymore." The detective with emerald green eyes muttered under his breath, then put what he saw out of his mind and happily continued picking out his snacks.

...

"Is this the place? It seems a bit remote." Tsurumi Kawa looked around and felt that the place was too desolate.

They are now standing at the foot of a mountain. It is autumn, and the fallen red maple leaves have laid out a long red carpet that winds its way up the mountain path.

Oda nodded. "They're in a villa halfway up the mountain."

Dazai Osamu picked up a red maple leaf and casually added, "That villa is a building from the last century. It has changed hands many times, and the current owner has passed away. As an inheritance, it is now listed for sale because it requires a lot of money to maintain."

“Since mimic chose this place as their base, there’s a high chance they’ve set up ambushes along the way up the mountain. Perhaps we can bypass this road and enter the mountain from another location.” Dazai Osamu pointed to the ravine next to them, which was covered by fallen leaves.

Tsurumi Kawakami had no objections and followed Oda Sakunosuke into the mountains from the ravine.

Upon reaching the mountainside, a European-style villa came into view, with a brick-red roof, marble pillars, and a goddess sculpture fountain in the courtyard.

Five people in gray cloaks patrolled the courtyard.

Tsurumi Kawakami glanced around a few times, then turned to ask Dazai Osamu and Oda Sakunosuke beside him, "How do we get in?"

There were about a dozen gray-robed figures visible in the light, but the situation inside the villa was still unclear.

Dazai Osamu drew his gun and cocked it. "Let's go. We've come to keep our appointment. The Mimic leader should be very happy."

A gunshot rang out, and Dazai Osamu and Oda Sakunosuke ran towards the villa one after the other.

Tsurumi Kawaru lay on the slope, poked his head out, and stared dumbfounded at their departing figures. After three seconds of stunned silence, he came to his senses, got up, brushed the red maple leaves off his clothes, and hurriedly chased after them.

Dazai Osamu's guess was correct. When Gide learned that Oda Sakunosuke had arrived at the villa, he was overjoyed and waved for his subordinates to leave with their men, wanting to have a one-on-one duel with Oda.

As for Dazai Osamu and Tsurumi Kawakami, he ignored them.

Not long after the gunshots rang out, Dazai Osamu, who had few bullets left, put his gun away after firing. Tsurumi Kawaru, seeing the submachine guns left by the gray-robed man on the ground, picked up two and handed one to him.

They walked from the courtyard into the villa. Oda went in first, and Tsurumi Kawaru pushed open the villa door and followed the sounds to a hall. On the high platform, Oda Saku and the leader Gide were already facing each other.

They were all firing at each other with pistols, and strangely enough, just as predicted, they always managed to dodge the bullets that were about to land.

Dazai Osamu said with a complicated expression, "Their abilities are very similar; they can foresee what will happen in the next few seconds, so they can avoid danger."

Whether it's Oda's seamless armor or Gide's narrow gate, both possess strong abilities to foresee the future. However, when the two come together, their mutual foresight becomes chaotic.

Tsurumi Kawakami glanced at the red-haired youth, then turned to Dazai Osamu and asked, "Will Odasaku kill him?"

Dazai Osamu shook his head, neither saying he didn't know nor that he didn't know.

At that moment, Gide spotted them, turned his head and looked over, and in just one glance he saw what would happen in the next few seconds.

His eyes widened suddenly, his gaze fixed on Tsurumi Kawakami with disbelief. He turned to Oda Sakunosuke and laughed, saying, "So there's another possibility besides you."

Tsurumi Kawa looked at him blankly, not understanding the meaning behind Gide's words.

But the next second, Gide and Oda activated their supernatural abilities at the same time. Their overly similar abilities underwent a strange change at that moment, and the combination of the two generated a huge amount of energy, canceling each other out.

At the same time, they fired a shot at each other.
