Undercover Traitor and Chef
With such suspicions in mind, Amuro Tooru left Curaçao and found Tsurumi Nagaru, who was having a late-night snack, intending to get some information out of him.
Tsurumi Kawa was slurping noodles when he heard Amuro Tooru's question. He looked up from his bowl, carefully recalled Curaçao's usual demeanor, and shook his head, saying, "No, Curaçao doesn't go on many missions. She's mainly responsible for organizing and processing intelligence. Because of her exceptional memory, she's in charge of Rum's side."
Amuro Tooru paused with his chopsticks, picked up a slice of char siu and put it in his mouth, asking with feigned curiosity, "Rum? The organization's second-in-command. It seems no one in the organization has ever seen rum, only heard of this code name."
Tsurumi Kawaru made a "hmm" sound, picked up the bowl and took a sip of soup. His eyes hesitated between the empty bowl and whether he should have another bowl. He casually said, "Yeah, Rum is very mysterious. I guess no one can guess what he's doing, just like no one would suspect a ramen chef."
Amuro Tooru picked up a bean sprout with his chopsticks, eating it with a nervous urge, his heart pounding in his throat. He pretended to be casual, listening calmly as Tsurumi Kawakami uttered a piece of information about rum.
Rum is indeed a man, and judging from the latter part of his sentence, Amuro Tooru suspects that Rum is faking his identity, perhaps like he infiltrated the Black Organization, and is currently infiltrating some organization.
However, needing an organization's second-in-command to infiltrate—what a daunting task that must be. Amuro Tooru silently noted this down, then subtly changed the subject, talking about a new batch of recruits within the organization.
Tsurumi Kawakami ultimately decided to order another bowl of tonkotsu ramen.
The steaming hot ramen, brimming with a rich aroma, was served. Tsurumi Kawakami added some chili oil and ate while listening to Amuro Tooru talk about the batch of new recruits who had joined the company the day before.
When the conversation turned to a newcomer named Dai Moroboshi, Tsurumi Kawakami seemed surprised and asked in a muffled voice, "Eh, is it Scotch who's bringing him along?"
Amuro Tooru put down his chopsticks, nodded, and said, "Yeah, I heard that Moroboshi Dai's sniping skills are pretty good, so he was assigned to Scotch Wine."
Tsurumi slurped up a big mouthful of noodles, wiped his mouth contentedly, and, recalling the bass bag he had seen Midorikawa carrying earlier, nodded in agreement: "Indeed, Scottish snipers are very good, but I heard from Curaçao that the best sniper in the organization is Gin."
Amuro Tooru was somewhat surprised. He turned to Tsurumi Kawakami Nagaru, hesitated for two seconds, and asked, "Doesn't he usually use a Beretta?"
Tsurumi Kawakami shook his head and said with a hint of envy, "Curaçao said Gin is a terrifying person. He is almost omnipotent. He is good at physical combat, shooting, sniping, observation and insight, and reasoning. He is exceptionally intelligent."
He counted on his fingers and said them one by one to Amuro Tooru, when suddenly Tsurumi Kawakami remembered that there was one more he hadn't mentioned, and quickly added: "Oh right, Gin can also fly helicopters."
Amuro was slightly surprised that Gin possessed so many skills, and his wariness of him deepened for a moment. However, overall, knowing this information in advance was a good thing for them. He silently noted it down, and began to worry about his childhood friend Hiro's situation.

Time passed, and a new batch of recruits was selected. Two of the more outstanding recruits were given codenames and became codename members. The Black Organization was infused with fresh blood, but no one knew whether this blood was good or bad, except for the even busier Gin.
"Bang—!!" A gunshot rang out, a wisp of smoke rose from the barrel, and bright red blood splattered onto the slightly dirty and moldy wall.
A tall man in a black trench coat and a black top hat holstered his gun. His hat was pulled low, revealing a glimpse of his chin and a mocking smile.
Not far behind the tall man, a muscular but somewhat short and stocky man in a black suit and sunglasses was keeping watch. Hearing the gunshot, he showed no surprise. He calmly turned around, glanced at the body lying on the ground, hesitated for a second, and then walked forward.
"Brother, should we dispose of it?" Vodka glanced at the corpse lying in the pool of blood with a hint of hesitation and disgust.
The man he addressed as "Big Brother" was none other than Gin from the Black Organization. Gin raised his hand to adjust his hat, took out a lighter, lit a cigarette, and coldly uttered two words: "Keep it."
Vodka nodded, and said with a hint of complaint, "There are probably quite a few undercover agents among the new recruits in the organization. I don't know what those agencies are thinking, sending people here every time."
Gin glanced at him, his cold, ruthless dark green eyes still carrying a trace of the bloodthirsty chill from before, like a top predator who had just finished hunting its prey; the moment their eyes met, it sent chills down one's spine.
He chuckled and said coldly, "A bunch of rats."
Vodka froze on the spot after being startled by Gin's gaze. Although he had been following his older brother for two years, he was still sometimes intimidated by his brother's imposing aura.
The fear still lingered in his eyes. Vodka swallowed hard and quickly caught up with Gin, who had turned to leave.

"Eh—I've been killed!"
Tsurumi Kawakami stared wide-eyed in surprise, his round, golden eyes looking incredulously at the blond, dark-skinned man—Amuro Tooru, who had already acquired the codename "Bourbon."
Amuro Tooru tapped the table twice. He had now obtained his codename and joined the intelligence team as he had wished. In the Black Organization, most codenamed members preferred to work alone, and he shouldn't have been an exception because of his identity. However, for some reason, Bourbon and Suz were always seen in the organization.
Amuro Tooru looked at Tsurumi Kawakami, whose facial expressions were very rich and whose thoughts were basically visible on his face. Amuro Tooru's mood became less serious. He thought that this might be the reason why he liked to be with Suzuki.
"Yes, Gin took care of him," the blond, dark-skinned youth said simply.
Tsurumi Kawakami blinked. It was like a sudden prank; someone he had seen just two days ago had been killed and eliminated. The incident had already happened, but his mind hadn't processed it yet.
A few seconds later, Tsurumi Kawakami finally reacted and asked dryly, "So he's an undercover agent?"
Gin, the member of the action group, is extremely disgusted by traitors who betray the organization and is also keen on finding the rats and flies lurking in the organization. Tsurumi Kawaru heard Curaçao privately refer to Gin as "the rat extermination expert" in a disgusted and repulsive tone.
Amuro Tooru was eager to find out Tsurumi Kawaru's opinion on the Black Organization. He lowered his head almost imperceptibly, and his tone became harsh, as if he were mocking a drowning dog: "I wonder which organization sent him. Now that he's dead, they should be even more afraid of the organization."
Tsurumi Kawaru opened his mouth, somewhat surprised. He recalled the other party's previous behavior and said with emotion, "I never expected him to be an undercover agent. I couldn't tell at all when we were together before."
Amuro Tooru's mockery froze on his face. He turned his head away, unsure of how to look at Tsurumi Kawaru. At this moment, Amuro Tooru realized that he seemed to know nothing about Suzuki.
The limited information about him was only what he gleaned from their first meeting during their conversation, and it was all one-sided; Amuro Tooru couldn't verify its authenticity.
After realizing this, Amuro Tooru's suspicions about Suzuki suddenly increased, and he began to recall whether he had revealed anything during his previous interactions with Suzuki.
Tsurumi Kawaru had no idea that in those few short seconds, Amuro Tooru sitting next to him had so many thoughts flashing through his mind. He was just feeling a little sentimental about the "traitor" that Gin had eliminated.
Recalling the Mafia of the first world, Tsurumi Kawakami said with a touch of nostalgia, "I've seen what happened to Mafia members after they betrayed the organization—"
He gestured to Amuro Tooru: "It's the kind of thing where you have someone bite down on a step, and then you kick them in the back of the head. That will damage the back of their head and break their jaw. If they're still not dead, you'll turn them over and shoot them three more times in the chest to kill them."
Amuro Tooru's expression froze. Just hearing Tsurumi Kawaru's description, he could imagine how painful it must be. Compared to Gin's swift and decisive shooting, this method was nothing short of torture, both mentally and physically.
However, Amuro Tooru noticed a hint of nostalgia on Tsurumi Kawakami's face when he mentioned this, and said, half-jokingly and half-seriously, "Suze, you were in the Mafia before."
Tsurumi Kawakami nodded, then shook his head and said, "Not really. The Mafia isn't here anymore, and I probably can't go back."
Upon hearing his answer, Amuro Tooru narrowed his eyes, guessing that the Mafia organization had probably disbanded or disappeared.
So Amuro skipped that topic and instead casually started talking about his life before joining the organization. He first talked about some experiences he had added to make his disguise more believable.
Tsurumi Nagaru is completely unguarded around Amuro Tooru, and he has never hidden his origins. However, even before he revealed his origins, Amuro Tooru seemed very interested in his part-time job at a sushi restaurant.
When Amuro heard that Tsurumi Ryu was working as a deliveryman at the Iroha sushi restaurant, he immediately recalled the rumors circulating within the Black Organization about Suz's codename being obtained because of Rum's backing. Considering Curaçao's previous attitude towards Suz, Amuro deduced that Tsurumi Ryu's acquaintance with Rum likely began at that sushi restaurant.
"Is the Iroha Sushi restaurant the one in Beikacho?" the blond, dark-skinned young man asked casually.
Tsurumi Kawakami nodded, somewhat surprised that Amuro Tooru knew. He thought for a moment, clapped his hands, and said, "I haven't been back in a long time either. How about I treat Tooru to a meal of sushi at the shop?"
Amuro Tooru was overjoyed. He hadn't expected Tsurumi Kawakami to invite him to a sushi restaurant. With the rum matter in mind, he readily agreed.

The following morning.
Beikacho, Iroha Sushi Restaurant.
"Welcome—" The waiter greeted Tsurumi Kawakami and Amuro Tooru with a smile as they entered.
Tsurumi Kawaru noticed a hint of confusion on the unfamiliar waiter's face. After they sat down, he took the menu the waiter handed him, checked the boxes as he asked, "Are you new to this restaurant? I haven't seen you before."
The waiter paused in his smile and nodded politely.
Tsurumi Nagaru said "Oh," handed her the menu, and then asked, "Is the chef who makes the sushi still Uncle Kyoda?"
The waiter smiled and said, "You're Mr. Kenjiro Wakita, right? Yes, he's the chef at the sushi restaurant."
Hearing her words, Tsurumi Nagare was clearly relieved. He turned to look at Amuro Tooru across from him and said with a smile, "Uncle Kyoda's cooking skills are very good. His sushi is delicious."
Amuro Tooru looked up at the departing waiter's back and, upon hearing Tsurumi Nagare's words, became somewhat curious about the chef named Wakita Kanenori.
