Ye Anning led Xu Xiwang a long way until a huge valley appeared before them, at which point the two stopped.
"This is a really fun place I just discovered!"
Ye Anning pointed excitedly at the valley in front of her, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.
Upon hearing this, Xu Xiwang followed Ye Anning's gaze and looked towards the valley.
The valley is like a basin, surrounded by high mountains and steep peaks.
A light mist still lingered over the mountain.
Enveloped in mist, the scenery inside the valley was obscured, except for a small river that meandered along, its surface flat and wide, reflecting the moonlight like a mirror.
In the middle of the valley, an ancient temple stands beside a pool of water, and a woman in white stands in front of the temple.
"Sister! Sister!"
Ye Anning watched as the woman in white waved her hands excitedly, looking exactly like a naive young girl just starting out in her career.
"Holy crap, where did you get this sister from?"
Ye Anning's words "sister" startled Xu Xiwang. Ye San only had one granddaughter, Ye Anning, so how could a sister suddenly appear?
"Ah Da, don't rush, let me say a few words to my sister."
Ye Anning grinned and pulled Xu Xiwang along as they ran forward.
Upon entering the valley, Xu Xiwang realized how strange this place was, as if it were a world of its own. Whether it was the mountain path or other places, there was a magical charm to it.
Xu Xiwang followed Ye Anning through the woods and saw a towering tree whose canopy blocked out the entire sky, making it appear dark and oppressive, as if countless stars had gathered on the tree.
After running for a long, long time, we finally arrived at the edge of a cliff. The cliff was very steep, and if we fell, we would surely be smashed to pieces.
Ye Anning took a long time to catch her breath and then pressed her hand twice on the protruding rock face on the cliff.
A stone slab slowly opened, revealing a passageway in front of Ye Anning.
Ye Anning took a deep breath and stepped down.
The passage was very short, only wide enough for one person to pass side by side, with steep cliffs on both sides. Ye Anning looked at the stone steps beside her and carefully climbed them.
When they finally climbed out of the stone steps, they found themselves in a desolate forest, surrounded by endless mountains and forests.
A chilling sensation permeated the forest, causing Ye Anning to shiver involuntarily.
As we approached the temple, a burst of divine light suddenly shot into the sky.
The divine light illuminated the entire valley, causing Ye Anning to open her eyes wide instantly. Looking at the scene before her, she felt as if her soul had been elevated as well!
The temple in front of us was cast in bronze and glowed faintly under the light of the luminous pearl.
Many incense burners were placed in front of the temple, with incense burning brightly and smoke rising in the air, making it feel like a fairyland.
To the left of the temple is a large square filled with all sorts of sacrificial tools and incense.
"Sister, are you there?!"
Ye Anning called out twice but received no reply. She walked further in and immediately spotted the figure standing in the center of the square. She exclaimed with delight, "Sister!"
Xu Xiwang looked up at the sound and saw a woman in white standing quietly in the center of the square, her face covered by a white veil.
She wore a snow-white long dress that revealed her slender waist, and her black hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall.
A delicate and beautiful face was hidden under a veil, revealing only a pair of red lips.
What surprised Xu Xiwang the most was that the woman's aura was faint and elusive. She stood there, yet seemed to be isolated from all things in the world, giving people a mysterious and ethereal feeling.
