Xu Xiwang saw the nine-tailed fox, and a look of disgust flashed in his eyes. He kicked the fox, sending it flying backward.
Ye Anning was dumbfounded. She never expected that Xu Xiwang would have such strength, and that he could injure the Nine-Tailed Fox in one move!
"roar!"
This nine-tailed fox
The nine-tailed fox was no longer the fairy she once was; she was now a raging tigress, roaring and howling at Xu Xiwang.
Not to be outdone, Xu Xiwang flicked his sleeve to shake off the mud on his body and immediately engaged the nine-tailed fox in battle.
The two, one human and one fox, fought fiercely, leaving Ye Anning breathless and dazzled.
A figure flashed from the shadows and abducted Ye Anning.
"Sister, save me, save me..."
Ye Anning was grabbed by the neck and taken away by the dark figure. She only saw Xu Xiwang fighting desperately against the monster.
After she was taken away, everything returned to calm.
"Who are you? Put me down!"
Ye Anning was dragged up to a towering tree with lush branches that almost blocked out all the sunlight.
Ye Anning looked up and met a pair of dark eyes. Those eyes seemed to contain a deep pool, deep and quiet, yet also seemed to hide a monstrous killing intent.
How did you meet that person?
The mysterious figure looked at Ye Anning and asked.
Who are you talking about?
Ye Anning asked, puzzled.
"The man who was traveling with you."
The mysterious figure coldly repeated, "How did he become like this?"
"You're asking me? How would I know? Put me down right now." Ye Anning struggled, but the man was very strong, and she couldn't break free at all.
The mysterious figure remained silent for a moment, as if pondering something, before suddenly throwing Ye Anning to the ground.
Ye Anning was thrown around so hard she was dizzy and disoriented. Before she could recover, she was tied up with ropes and bound like a rice dumpling.
"Hey, what are you trying to do?"
Ye Anning was tightly bound and unable to move, so she could only angrily question him.
"I want to know about your relationship, and why you know him?"
The mysterious figure spoke in a clear, cold tone.
"I won't tell you."
Ye Anning pouted, somewhat annoyed. Why should she tell him about her relationship with A-Da, and who this guy was? Why did she feel like he knew A-Da?
Tell me, or die!
A mysterious figure flickered a ball of ghostly fire in its hand, and a chill swept over Ye Anning, causing her to shiver involuntarily.
"What do you want to know? I'm just a kid, you wouldn't bully a child, would you?"
Ye Anning cautiously observed the mysterious figure.
This guy's aura was terrifying, making her tremble with fear, as if she might be eaten at any moment.
The mysterious figure looked at Ye Anning impatiently, "Are you going to talk or not? I'm only asking once!"
"Fine, I'll tell you, okay? But don't even think about threatening me. If you really dare to kill me, believe me, Ah-Dai will kill you."
"......"
The mysterious figure remained silent.
"Um... you wouldn't happen to be Ah Da's enemy, would you? You've come to the wrong person for revenge. Do you know that Ah Da has become a formidable person now? He can slap you away in a matter of minutes. You'd better behave yourself, or if you anger him, you won't even be left with bones."
"......"
The mysterious figure remained silent.
"Um... my name is Ye Anning, I'm five years old, what about you?"
"......"
Seeing that she remained silent, Ye Anning couldn't help but speak again, "Hey... can you say something? I'm incredibly curious, don't ignore me... if you want revenge, go find Ah Da, please don't come looking for me..."
Ye Anning kept muttering to herself, but the mysterious man seemed not to hear her at all.
Ye Anning was extremely frustrated. She had already admitted that she was a child, so what was he trying to do?
