Chapter 146: It's Time to Have a Good Year
After coming out of Dean Qi's office, Xu Nuo returned to his familiar job. Not long after he sat down, Ling Sheng pushed the door and walked in.
He was wearing a neat white coat, with a gentle smile on his face and a cup of hot coffee in his hand.

This little girl is so innocent and warm like a little sun.
The first day back at the hospital was fulfilling and busy. Without Zhuang Tian in the way, Xu Nuo was in an especially good mood the whole day.
After finishing the work at hand, she looked out the window. The afterglow of the setting sun sprinkled on the hospital corridor, adding a touch of warmth to the busy hospital.
She stretched, packed her things, and prepared to leave work.
On the way home, she slowed down out of habit when she passed the familiar intersection.
Usually this place is always bustling with people surrounding Liao Hong and Bai Qiu Ning's stalls, but today only Li Cuiying was seen selling roast chicken.
Xu Nuo was a little puzzled and couldn't help but take a few more glances. Li Cuiying was busy packing for customers with her head down and didn't seem to notice her.
Xu Nuo didn't stop and continued walking towards the platform where he was waiting for the bus.
When she got back to the military compound by car, she did not go home directly, but went to the house of Political Commissar Liao next door first.
She knocked on the door, and it opened quickly. Liao Hong came out with a smile on her face: "Xu Nuo, why are you here? Come in and sit down!"
Xu Nuo walked into the house and was a little surprised by the scene before her.
The yard was filled with ducks, hundreds of them, neatly arranged on the ground.
Bai Qiu Ning was squatting nearby, holding tools in his hands, handling the ducks skillfully.
The air was thick with the smell of spices, and it was obvious that the duck was being prepared.
