Chapter 259: A Short Separation Is Better Than a New Marriage
Xu Nuo's eyes followed the movement of the car. Finally, she saw the green military vehicle parked steadily in front of the colonel building.
The car door opened and a familiar figure walked out.
The military uniform outlines his tall and straight figure, his long legs are wrapped in straight uniform pants, and his steps are steady and powerful.
Xu Nuo's breathing paused, and he thought he was dreaming.
Lu Chen is back?
Lu Chen stopped, took off his military cap, and subconsciously looked up at the window. His jawline was as sharp as a knife, and when their eyes met, the corners of his lips slightly raised, and his eyes reflected a tiny light.

Just two short words made Xu Nuo's eyes warm.
"You've lost weight too." She raised her hand to touch his chiseled cheek.
The night wind blew through the locust tree, and petals fell on Lu Chen's shoulders.
Xu Nuo reached out to brush it away, but he grabbed her wrist and suddenly pressed his warm lips against her palm, which startled her eyelashes.
"I was gone for fifty-seven days," he said suddenly, stroking the beating pulse of her wrist with his thumb, "and I copied your name on paper every day."
Xu Nuo burst out laughing and stood on tiptoe to bite his chin: "Captain Lu has also learned how to be romantic?"
Before she could finish her words, she was lifted up by the hips. She exclaimed and hugged his neck. She heard a low vibration from his chest: "Only for you."

Lu Chen smiled and lowered his head to continue kissing her.
"Wait, wait..." Xu Nuo put his hand on his chest, "I almost forgot about the important matter."

"You're back so late. Have you eaten yet? I'll make you some porridge."

He leaned over and pressed forward, his calloused palm stroking her waist, causing her shoulders to tremble slightly.
Lu Chen's eyes darkened and he buried his head in her fair and graceful neck.
Xu Nuo's chuckle suddenly turned into a hum, and her fingers sank into his neat short hair.
His kiss spread down...Xu Nuo suddenly arched his body, and his nails left several red marks on his back.
"Gently...gently..." Her protests became fragmented.
Lu Chen held her waist even tighter, and beads of sweat dripped down his chin.
His taut neck and bulging muscles were all soaked with sweat and glistened. When he was about to soar into the sky, he suddenly lowered his head and kissed her lips, swallowing all her whimpers.
