Chapter 13

Chapter 13

Xuan Yexian looked down at Leyuan's expression with satisfaction and joy, enjoying the process of others having to bow to her for her sake. She didn't like thorns, but if this thorn was polished in her hands, she would be satisfied if she saw it become round and would no longer be easily hurt when she played with it in her hands, and she would throw it away and look for the next one.

Paradise is a thorn in her side. It is not round enough now. When it is perfect enough, she will throw it away, destroy it, and find the next one. Now is not the right time. It is like cooking a dish. You cannot rush to start cooking it before the right time, otherwise it will ruin the appearance and taste of the dish.

She knew this, so she didn't interfere most of the time. But recently she was so unlucky that she couldn't stand it anymore.

Paradise is her latest pleasure.

She couldn't let herself be sad enough to cry without taking her temper out on others.

She has never been a patient person, nor does she need to be. She has been rich and noble since birth. Her three generations before her have all been rich. There has never been a time when her family was without money. She is used to living a high and mighty life. People around her are willing to flatter her. She has a happy family, a beautiful face, many relatives, friends everywhere, and she is a good student. Everyone says that she is smart, beautiful and gifted.

What else could she be dissatisfied with?

Of course, there is not enough fun.

Paradise filled this gap, and she would always come to find this person.

Sometimes, she appeared in front of the park not necessarily for this person, but just to slap him, just like seeing a nasty cat or dog, and intending to kick it so that it would never appear in front of her again.

How interesting.

"If you weren't so lowly, maybe we would be a good match. I could give you a marriage gift, you could marry me, you could be my husband, and you could get a lot of money. Unfortunately, you are so annoying."

"I'm afraid this has nothing to do with you."

"Why not? If you were my husband, of course it would matter."

"After you die, I will have nothing to do with you. Maybe your death will have something to do with me."

"You curse me? You are getting bolder and bolder."

"There is nothing I can do. There are always people who think they are right. I have to remind them that if they are sick, they should go to the hospital."

"On what grounds?"

"Let me tell you a story.

A group of insects went into the mountains to worship the mountain god. The mountain god was a huge tree that had long been infested with insects and had a mottled surface, but they turned a blind eye.

A leaf was blown by the wind to a mottled spot on the mountain god's tree that was infested by insects. There was a small hole there, and the insects began to swarm around.

They vowed to destroy the leaf. Destroying the leaf was not enough, they followed the wind to find the source of the leaf and found a tree.

This tree was standing peacefully in the mountains, but suddenly it was eaten by a group of insects. They wanted to break the tree down. Day after day, they were almost about to break the tree down. However, they could not break the last bit of the trunk, so they got very angry and started to eat the branches instead.

The branches were soon gnawed by them, one by one. They were very happy, and in the dark and damp corner, they squirmed in the dirty and soft soil to celebrate. Then they heard footsteps. It was the woodcutters patrolling the mountain who came here, saw the branches on the ground, picked them up and took them home to burn for the fire. They came out again, saw the branches being taken away, and continued to gnaw the trunk. They found that they could not bite the trunk anymore, so they could only gnaw on the branches. They gnawed off another one and were very happy. A bird flew here, and the insects ran away without looking back.

Isn’t it interesting? "

"How dare you scold me!!"

An indescribable chaos swept over.

Xuan Yexian said, "Get up, it's time to go out."

Leyuan followed Xuan Yexian out and got on a car.

Xuan Yexian got off the car when they arrived and asked Leyuan to go up the mountain: "I have already prayed, and the gods have said very clearly that you should go up the mountain alone, stay overnight and then come back. If you come back, go to school and the bad luck will disappear."

Paradise stood at the mountain gate, looking a little hesitant.

Zhang Caixia and Zhang Zhaoxia walked over from a distance and asked, "What's going on?"

Xuan Yexian said, "Go away and get rid of the bad luck. Don't you all know that? You said you had something to do and couldn't come. Why are you here?"

Zhang Caixia laughed and said, "I thought you were talking about some other place! If you had said it was here, we would have come here."

Zhang Zhaoxia replied: "My parents had planned to go hiking here, but they had something else to do, so they went back. They asked us to go up alone to take pictures and send them to them. The bodyguards were all there."

As he spoke, he pointed behind him and saw many people standing there, in darkness.

Xuan Yexian smiled and said, "This mountain is not easy to climb. Do you really want to go up?"

Zhang Zhaoxia nodded.

Zhang Caixia said impatiently: "What can happen with so many people? It's not like we won't be back."

Xuan Yexian chuckled and said, "Then go ahead. Remember to bring enough food and supplies."

Zhang Caixia nodded: "I see, you are so long-winded."

As they were talking, a timid little girl's voice came out: "Excuse me, are you going up the mountain? We want to go up the mountain too, can we go together?"

Zhang Caixia raised her eyebrows: "Okay."

The girl smiled and said, “That’s great!”

Husserl looked around curiously, and smiled when he heard the answer: "Thank you."

Zhang Caixia said, "You're welcome."

The crowd set out from here.

The paradise was at the end, and as we walked along it disappeared.

At first, the mountain was filled with a thin white mist. As they went higher, the mist became thicker and harder to see through.

The grass and trees around me were getting more and more lush. When I was walking on the road, I felt that almost half of my body was covered by the grass. Branches of trees passed by me from time to time, which looked quite dangerous.

The crowd got closer and closer.

"What on earth is going on?"

"have no idea."

"We're not going to die, are we?"

Husserl asked with an excited smile.

Zhang Caixia looked at him in confusion and surprise, and sneered, "If you want to die, go by yourself, no one will stop you."

Husserl rolled his eyes, then smiled and said, "I'm not in a hurry. Maybe I'll be able to see it soon. Do I need to go there myself?"

Zhang Caixia thought he was scolding her and angrily said, "You!"

Zhang Zhaoxia pulled her back, glared at Husserl and said, "Be careful with your words. If you still cause trouble here, don't blame us for kicking you out."

The girl quickly put her hands together and said, "I'm sorry, please don't mind it. I'm apologizing on his behalf. He just likes to talk nonsense. He's been beaten for this. Look, there's still gauze wrapped around his head."

Zhang Caixia waved her hand and said in disgust, "I was wondering why there was a smell of medicine along the way."

She looked at Zhang Zhaoxia and said, "Brother, next time we can't let people like them walk on the same road with us!"

Zhang Zhaoxia nodded: "Okay."

The girl smiled awkwardly, her face flushed with embarrassment, lowered her head and said nothing.

They walked for a while but still hadn't gotten out. The girl asked cautiously, "Are we lost?"

Zhang Caixia sneered, "Lost? How can you get lost when you have a cell phone, a map, a compass, signposts, and everything else?"

The girl whispered, "With such heavy fog, it's not impossible."

Zhang Caixia sneered: "Stop making excuses for yourself."

She turned her head away: "Waste is waste. Stop talking here. It pollutes the air and annoys me."

The girl blinked and stopped talking.

After walking for a while, everyone felt tired and decided to take a rest.

The girl carefully took out her cell phone and tried to make a call, but found that she couldn't make the call. She tried several times and her face turned red and her head was sweating. She frowned and kept stomping around. Zhang Caixia was very impatient when she heard her voice and asked angrily, "What are you doing? Can't you just take a rest for a while?"

The girl came up to her, not caring about her disgusted expression and her behavior of leaning back to distance herself, and handed her her phone to her, saying in a loud voice, almost shouting: "Look! Look! We are trapped! There is no network here, and there is no signal at all!"

As she spoke, her face was redder and more anxious than before. She was about to cry. Seeing that Zhang Caixia was unhappy, she took her hand back, holding the phone and spun around even faster, saying as she walked, "It's over, it's over. It's so late, we haven't even gone home, but there's still no call. I should have known that we were abandoned!"

She covered her head and squatted on the ground, almost screaming and crying.

Zhang Caixia was annoyed by her noise, so she stood up and kicked her, cursing, "Why are you crying? She's not dead yet! If you keep doing this, I'll throw you off the mountain. If you want to die, I won't stop you."

The girl stood up and grabbed Zhang Caixia by the collar, saying angrily, "I have tolerated you for a long time. You have been acting so superior the whole time. Do you think you are so great? Haha! You are garbage. Even garbage doesn't stink like you. How can you go out with such a bad temper and such an ugly face? If I were you, I would commit suicide to apologize!"

Zhang Caixia was stunned for a moment and said angrily: "How dare you say such a thing?"

As she spoke, she grabbed the girl's hair and punched her. The girl screamed and staggered backwards. Zhang Zhaoxia was shocked when she noticed they were fighting, so she hurried over to try to stop them. But when she saw that Zhang Caixia was very angry and hesitated to speak, she tried to pull them apart, but failed. Both of them were very angry, so even if they didn't have much strength, they could now use all their strength to compete.

Zhang Chaoxia helped her sister without hesitation. When the girl wanted to hit Zhang Caixia, she blocked her hand. When Zhang Caixia wanted to hit someone, she controlled the girl. The girl was held down and twisted her body. She struggled to get away and looked at Husserl and shouted, "Help me!"

Husserl shook his head and said, "There are so many of them. I can't help them."
