If we really took it, it would be a life-threatening transaction, and you would still ask us for the money for the earrings! Wouldn’t we lose both the wife and the army? Why should we go there? Why should we be willing to accept your things? "
The stall owner cried, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, how about this, I'll give you all my money, a total of 30,000 yuan, I've made so much today, I'll even give you the money for my trip home! 改變主意了？哈哈哈！”
她的臉貼着窗戶，一點點往內滲血，看起來髒兮兮黏糊糊，還有點恐怖。
不過，那張臉，模糊不清，而且五官幾乎沒有，像是被迷霧罩住了，并不像是它本來應有的臉，女人摸了摸自己的臉，對車主笑道：“你看見我了？太好了！我的力量又增加了。我以後肯定會光明正大走在路上的！哈哈哈！托你們的福。很漂亮嗎？我看不見。”
它抱怨問：“為什麽你們的車窗沒有照明功能？連鏡子也不如。我要找鏡子！”
話音未落，它忽然看見了車裏的後視鏡，瞪大眼睛，啊了一聲，一下子不見了，就好像是被什麽東西收走的妖怪。
車主以為它被趕走了，想松一口氣，卻猛地又在後視鏡裏面發現，後排的座位上，坐着兩個人，一個人是樂園，另外一個就是樂園身邊粉裙子的女人。
一條暗沉沉的黑色影子，從它的身體緩緩落下來，搭在地上，就像是一條巨大而冗長無比的隧道似的蛇尾在狹窄的空間內盤踞。
車主頓時有一種被擠得無法呼吸的感覺。
樂園的表情已經換了，垂着眼睛，他喃喃道：“死亡。”
女人啊了一聲，就像是繡花的時候被針紮了一下，它幾乎跳起來，尾巴似的黑影子不見了，車主沒有了那種被擠得腦內缺氧的感覺，大口大口呼吸起來，女人則憤怒地轉過頭，看向樂園，就好像它之前壓根沒發現這裏還有一個人，瞪樂園的時候，它的眼睛流出血來。

車主想了想：“不知道，我都沒有出租過，都是請人之間住進去的。”
樂園問：“那你究竟讓什麽人住進去過？”
車主看向樂園說：“就是你呀。除了你之外，就是我自己了。沒有別人。本來我也想請他們跟我一起住進去的，但是，他們不同意，不是說太破費了，就是說我沒有那個資格，要麽說你還是找別人吧，要麽說不好意思我已經找到地方可以住了，再不然說，好貴的大房子。
我也沒有辦法。是他們自己不願意，跟我有什麽關系呢？”
樂園想了想：“這麽說，那個屋子應該很幹淨，奇怪，住的時候，沒感覺出來。”
車主笑道：“感覺出來又能怎麽樣？又不是真的幹淨，要是哪一天覺得特別幹淨了，恐怕要仔細檢查一下，看看是不是有問題，萬一有更厲害的恐怖藏在裏面，那才完蛋！要是不知道被害了，就像是一條毒蛇藏在家裏，自己還不知道，哪一天猝不及防就被攻擊死了。
那得多虧啊！
而且，就現在這種民不聊生的世道，人活着就不錯了，誰知道什麽時候走在哪一步就死了，要找幹淨的地方是找不到的，找髒兮兮的地方到處都是呢。”
樂園應了一聲：“是這樣。”
門外傳來了一陣重重的淩亂的腳步聲。
車主看了過去，發現攤主終于走到了附近，攤主問：“你們在哪裏？”
車主回答：“這裏。”
攤主不像是之前那個女人，一下子就出現在車旁邊了，似乎第一句話都沒有聽見，還在外面邊走邊問：“你們在哪裏？”
車主喊道：“這裏！你叫魂呢？”
攤主愣了一下，迅速跑過來，笑道：“不好意思，我還以為走錯路了，差點要跑出去再找一次了，幸好你們真的在這裏，太好了，太好了。我們現在就開始吧？”
他說着，從衣服裏将耳環掏出來，耳環比之前看起來甚至更漂亮了一點，如果說，之前的耳環像蒙了一層薄薄的灰的綠玉，現在看起來就是熠熠生輝的綠寶石，清透水亮，十分可人。
攤主看着這樣的耳環，心有餘悸，更加恨不得現在就甩掉它，皺了皺眉，對車主伸長了手說：“快點快點！現在就處理吧！你們真的要收下它，不會随便丢在地上，對吧？你們不會之後想走路回家吧？你們都記得看路！千萬不要摔跤。也別把東西弄丢了，誰知道它會怎麽回來。”
車主點了點頭：“東西給我吧。”
攤主将耳環遞給車主，耳環落在地上，怎麽也撿不起來，攤主哭道：“哎呀哎呀！這可怎麽辦呢？要是給不出去，豈不是還要跟我回家？我家裏可不是我一個人。要出事，要出大事的！怎麽辦？”
樂園過去，将耳環撿起來了，奇怪地問：“你們之前是怎麽撿東西的？”
車主說：“不是我們的問題，是耳環選擇了你，它不許我們碰，所以我們撿不起來，它剛才在地上就好像生了根的樹，吃了鐵的秤砣，又重又難以移動，不是我們的問題。”
樂園眨了眨眼睛，将信将疑：“是麽？好。”
他将耳環收起來，回到了座位上：“也許之後用得上呢。”
攤主千恩萬謝跑走了。
車主問：“那我們之後去那邊？”
畫卷上美人背影出現的地點。
車停了下來，車主呼吸了一下新鮮空氣，對樂園說：“感覺要下雨了，陰沉沉的，你看，天上的雲都亮不起來，底下的空氣濕乎乎的，就像是趴在青蛙背上吹了一口氣的感覺。到處都是黏黏糊糊的，潮濕得好像下一刻就要長蘑菇了。”
樂園說：“知道了。”
車主問：“你真的不出來玩玩？還有一段路呢。”
樂園問：“之後你打算吃什麽？”
車主說：“吃什麽，來一碗炒面，你呢？”
樂園說：“我還是奶油夾心紅豆面包。”
車主說：“好。”
他在旁邊走了走，玩了一會兒，樂園閉着眼睛，靠着抱枕，看起來幾乎要睡着了，車主蹑手蹑腳地回到了自己的位置上，繼續開車，車子往前行駛，漸漸進入了一個小鎮似的地方，進去之前，車子路過了一個地标似的東西，那東西寫着：此處桃花鎮。
到了約定的旅館休息的時候，已經是黃昏以後了，車主停下車來，碰了碰樂園：“到了。”
樂園睜開眼睛：“知道了。”
他們一前一後走出車庫，到了旅館的門口，樂園看向門上，車主也看了一眼，喃喃道：“桃花旅社，真有意思，我在路上都沒有看見桃花，怎麽這裏到處都是桃花名字？”
樂園笑道：“聞其名而不見其人，多有意思的地方。也許是從前有過許多的桃花呢。”
車主說：“要麽想，我還覺得是以前有個名字裏有桃花的婦人，死在了這裏，這個地方才是這個名字呢。”
樂園說：“之後可以找人問一問。”
車主點了點頭。
他們進入了旅館，前臺檢查了身份信息，收了錢，就讓他們上去了，到了房間，沒一會兒有人敲門，那人說，今天晚上旅館要舉辦篝火晚會和歌唱比賽，贏的人可以得到一束鮮花，可漂亮了，大家都會去，還能一起吃零食，很熱鬧，沒什麽不安全的地方。
“你們不去嗎？”
隔壁的客人看看樂園又看看車主，滿臉好奇地問。
車主笑了笑：“我們那個時候如果沒有其他的事情就過去看看，謝謝你過來說這個，我們已經知道了，你可以回去了。”
客人點了點頭：“哦，那你們可一定記得，早晚會是下午六點，沒多久就是時間了，玩到九點，早會就會散場，九點開始新一輪的晚會，就是正式的篝火晚會，這場晚會會一直持續到晚上十二點，十二點以後，願意留下的可以繼續留下，不願意的，可以回房間休息。”
他準備走，忽然頓住，又問：“哎，你們喜歡水果拼盤嗎？我可以準備。你們到時候一起下來吃啊！”
車主說：“我不介意吃水果，不過，你準備水果拼盤，是因為你是旅館的人嗎？”
客人笑道：“不是，只要願意在這裏參加晚會都有準備食物去的資格，我家是附近農田種水果的，今年水果豐收，又大又甜還好看，就是太多了，賣不出去，也有人願意買，但是，他們給的錢太少了，連成本都沒法回來，我就只能自己出來，到處找找客人，想也許能找到。
要是有人願意給比成本更高的錢，買下我家的水果，我就有一大筆錢可以在這裏多住兩天，好好玩一陣子，再慢慢回家去，不用着急，不用趕時間，不怕水果壞掉，也不怕我之後上學沒有錢了，也不怕我家裏人生病之後不能去醫院了，甚至還可以把家裏爛掉的家具換一次。
只不過，現在這些都是我的設想，究竟怎麽樣，也不好說，所以，我想先把帶來的水果，給參加晚會的人都嘗一嘗，他們要是願意買下，我就吃喝不愁了，若是他們願意多出一點錢，我就謝天謝地了，你們喜歡吃水果嗎？只買一點也可以，我家的水果很便宜的，一點也不貴。
批發是好事，但你們要是只需要一點水果，我也可以賣給你們，不過是零售，我這次來帶了許多，就是聽說最近桃花鎮要舉辦桃花節了，許多外地的客人都會過來參加節日活動，當地的商家和住戶都會參加這個活動，到時候很熱鬧，人多起來了，東西也會好賣些。不是嗎？”
車主問：“那你都有什麽水果呢？”
客人一看他們似乎有買東西的意思，轉過身來，也不着急走了，笑道：“西瓜，桃子，梨子，蘋果，哈密瓜，榴蓮，葡萄，釋迦果，荔枝，很多，你們喜歡什麽？”
車主猶豫着問：“來一個哈密瓜和西瓜再來一份桃子，對了，有青提嗎？就是青色的，沒有籽，一口咬下去，還不需要剝皮的那種水果，你那邊有嗎？”
客人笑道：“有啊，有啊，我這就給你們拿過來，一個哈密瓜，一個西瓜，桃子，我先送你們一個，你們要是覺得吃得下去，就再來找我買個一斤半斤的帶回家去吃，提子容易壞掉，你們千萬記得放冰箱，不然就不好吃了。”
車主點了頭：“知道了。”
客人說：“那你們等我一下，我這就過去拿，我的房間就在你們隔壁，很快的。”
車主點頭：“好。”
客人一下子回到了自己的房間，在裏面翻找起來，很快就提着打包的口袋過來了，口袋裏面就是西瓜哈密瓜桃子和提子，車主接過東西，遞給樂園，樂園将東西接手再放到旁邊的桌上，洗了洗手，車主在門口對客人問：“你第一次來嗎？”
客人笑道：“也不是第一次了，我之前就跟着舅舅家的人來過，那個時候，我還小，比現在小得多了，跟着親戚也不知道過來做什麽，也不知道過來有什麽好難過的，看他們整天愁眉苦臉的樣子，我還奇怪他們在想什麽，他們不怎麽管我，我就玩得很開心，他們還帶我出去。
也是正好趕上節日活動，到處都是人，熱熱鬧鬧的，還有人敲鑼打鼓，有人唱歌跳舞，有人開大胃王比賽，誰都可以去參加，只需要付一點門票錢，就可以上臺去吃東西，要是沒有贏，就付那堆食物一半的錢，要是贏了，不需要額外付錢，連門票也還回去，還有第一名獎金。
好有趣的事情。

後來，這裏長出了桃花，許許多多，到處都是，因為很漂亮，很多人都會過來玩，可是，沒有人照顧桃花，桃花就漸漸枯萎了，人們不再想要來到這裏游玩，而是繞開這裏，越走越遠，因為他們覺得，這裏陰森森的，肯定不是好地方，後來，這裏就成了殺人越貨的地方。
有一個桃花夫人，跟着夫君逃難，來到了附近，可是，夫君帶的人謀反，士兵嘩變，将他們困住，桃花夫人不得已開始逃跑，被追到了桃花林附近殺死，血流如注，滿地鮮血灌溉了土壤，人們離開這裏，桃花卻漸漸再度開放，就好像是等到了時機。
那之後，這裏又被人叫作桃花鎮了。”
車主問：“你知道桃花夫人是個什麽人嗎？”
客人笑道：“這個東西，只有當地才知道，不過，我來過這幾次，也打聽過一點，說是一個将軍的妻子，也有人說是大臣的妾室，曾經流落四方給人唱曲賣藝為生，年輕時候頗為受寵，年紀漸漸大了，生了兩個孩子，容貌不如從前了。
夫君一心要有才有色有德有家室的女子，就去求娶自己的心上人，據說，他們見過面，那是個傳聞十分漂亮且年幼失去母親的年輕女孩，在父親面前并不受寵，還有許多的兄弟姐妹，卻很有錢，比起男人，整整小了一輪歲數。
桃花夫人被夫君的乳母折磨，得了病，卧榻在家，夫君仿佛以為她要死了，就迫不及待去求娶那家的小姐，那小姐喜歡蘭花，又被稱為蘭姑娘，後來，果然被求娶，成了蘭夫人，蘭夫人不喜歡桃花，也不喜歡妾室，更不喜歡被稱為夫人的桃花夫人，見了面就吵架。
兩個人吵過之後，各自分開，并不住在一起，也不再見面，連走路也往相反的方向去，只有她們的夫君還住在中間，那男人并不愛惜桃花夫人，漸漸不去見面，只往蘭夫人的住處去，蘭夫人尚且年幼，未足十七就懷孕生子，險些一命嗚呼，之後卻依舊繼續如此。
據說，蘭夫人和那男人一共生了十七個孩子，這些孩子，七個年幼的時候就夭折了，另外十個長得稍微大一些，在男人逃跑的時候，五個跟着，一路颠沛流離，在路上得病死了，剩下五個，留守在家裏，被趕到住處附近包圍他們的士兵，挨個亂刀砍死了，一個沒有留下。
蘭夫人雖然沒有被殺死，但也被軟禁，一心想等夫君回家，沒有等到，得了病，一命嗚呼了。
