Chapter 56

Chapter 56

Jongin walked over and kicked the door. There was a bang and the door creaked and opened a little.

But this is not enough for a normal person to walk out, even if he squeezes out carefully.

Everyone looked a little sad.

Huang Bai tried to expand the door a little bit, kicked, hit and kicked, and took a breath to rest. After stopping, he gestured at the door. He tried to go out through this gap. This was not a psychological pressure for him. Hong Bai was still a little entangled. Lan Bai was trying to think of other ways. Zhong Ren sat on the sofa to rest.

Hongbai watched Huangbai squeeze out from the gap in the door, but got stuck halfway through. She quickly went over to help. Suddenly, Hongbai saw countless red eyes hidden in the darkness on the opposite side. They seemed to be mice. She was horrified and shouted, "Come back quickly!"

Huang Bai didn't know why she suddenly changed her attitude, and thought she was just angry because she felt it was too troublesome, so he comforted her and said, "It's okay, I can get out if I try harder, you don't need to help, go and have a rest."

Hongbai took half a step back, still grabbing Huangbai's clothes, trying to drag him into the house.

Huang Bai struggled for a bit, but Hong Bai's hands were not strong enough, so he let go.

Huang Bai continued to squeeze out, and then with a whoosh, Huang Bai disappeared. He was standing at the door just now, but after squeezing out, he turned around and hurriedly said to the people inside: "Come out quickly - ah!"

I couldn't find the person at all, not even a shadow. I didn't know if it was because it was too dark outside or because there was no one outside.

Hongbai was frightened and staggered, holding onto the edge of the table and sitting on the floor next to the sofa. Jongin helped her up and she stood up trembling. Her teeth were chattering and making a clicking sound. Her face was extremely pale, without a trace of red. She looked very weak and pitiful, and all traces of her previous temper were gone.

Lan Bai approached her immediately, and when she stood firm, he walked to the door and looked outside. He found that Huang Bai was gone, and was also surprised. He turned around and asked, "What did you see?"

Hongbai said, "I, I saw Huangbai disappear right after he left."

She hesitated for a moment, then lowered her head and said, "I also saw a lot of rats with red eyes outside, but now they are gone."

Lan Bai looked outside, but didn't see the mouse or Huang Bai. He hesitated for a moment, moved the door a little, and suddenly found that the door suddenly became very light, as light as a piece of foam. He opened the door in shock.

Hongbai was also very shocked when he saw this. He rushed over and stretched out his hand to grab the door: "Impossible, I tried so hard to send him out before, and I wanted to get him out, but he seemed to be stuck here. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't do anything, and the door didn't change. How come it's fine now? How come it suddenly became so light? This can't be a door!"

Lan Bai said with a serious face: "Whether it is true or not, the most important thing for us now is to leave this room, find Huang Bai, leave the cafeteria and go home."

Hongbai rushed out, waved his hand in the black corridor outside and said, "Don't say so much, I know what I should do, isn't it just to find someone to go home with? It's simple! You should come out quickly. It will be too late if you are late."

Everyone left the room.

Hongbai was excited and eager to try. He looked around and pointed to a road to Lanbai, saying, "I saw Huangbai disappear from here before."

Lan Bai asked suspiciously: "What did you see at that time?"

Hongbai paused and whispered, "I saw Huangbai being dragged away by a bunch of black things. That thing looked like a rat's tail or a ball of wire."

She murmured, "But how could there be so many wires? How could a rat's tail be so long? It was so scary! I didn't even see clearly what it was. I just remember that it disappeared in an instant, and Huang Bai was inside it."

Lan Bai thought, isn't it even more terrifying when you say that?

Hongbai raised his head and asked, "Is there something wrong?"

Lan Bai shook his head: "No, since you remember, let's look for it along this road!"

Kohaku nodded.

Jongin said, "I'll go with you."

Lan Bai asked hesitantly, "Aren't you going to take another route? You don't have to come with us. We are going to a dangerous place to find our companions. Huang Bai is not your companion, right? You have no obligation to save him."

Jongin readily agreed: "Okay, then I won't go with you guys. I'm going back. If I can get out of there, I'll leave a message to remind you."

Lan Bai nodded: "Thank you."

Hongbai clenched his fists and became even more excited: "Okay!"

She thought, all she had to do was find the person. Finding someone was a simple matter because she already knew where the person was. She just had to sneak him out and then she could go home! That was great!

Hongbai was so excited that she was speechless for a moment, as if she had already seen herself returning home.

Lan Bai said to her, "Let's go."

Kohaku nodded.

The two walked into the darkness.

Jongin disappears down the hallway.

Hongbai was startled when she suddenly saw eyeballs all over the ground. However, at this time, she already knew that she might be hallucinating. She did not say anything, but silently stepped on the eyeballs under her feet, following Lanbai step by step, following closely, as if she was chasing the only lighthouse for hope of survival in a storm at sea, rather than an ordinary companion.

Lan Bai noticed her strangeness, frowned and asked, "What's wrong with you?"

Kohaku lowered his head, feeling the disgusting touch of the sticky liquid splashing from the broken eyeballs under his feet and the sewer-like smell. His face turned slightly green, and he answered, "Nothing is wrong."

Lan Bai said: "You don't look like nothing happened. If there is something wrong, you'd better tell me. Otherwise, we might all die here."

Kohaku said, "No."

"Just hoping is useless," Lanbai said.

Kohaku replied, "I know."

Lan Bai was silent for a while, knowing that she was not going to say it, so he didn't ask any more questions.

They walked in the corridor for a long time. It seemed that there was no end to the corridor no matter what. It was black everywhere. Hongbai sighed and wanted to rest. She felt that her legs were a little out of control and her pace was getting slower and slower.

Lan Bai was still walking in front when he suddenly saw a black figure rushing over. He looked closely and found it was Zhong Ren. Before he could say hello, he saw a group of rats lurking not far away. He couldn't help but widen his eyes and waved to Zhong Ren. Zhong Ren looked at him, smiled at him, and walked over.

Lan Bai asked, "Why are you here? Didn't you go in a completely different direction from us? Your appearance here means that the two sides of this corridor are connected?"

Jongin blinked and whispered, "I was walking on the road and saw a big rat in front of me. I followed the rat and saw a lot of rats. Then I walked here and you saw me."

Lan Bai nodded.

Hongbai rushed over and hid himself, looking out: "What are we going to do?"

She saw Huang Bai unconscious inside the mouse box. She opened her mouth and wanted to say something, but suddenly shuddered. Seeing that all the mice were looking at her, she covered her mouth and nose tightly, blinked her eyes, and quietly hid backwards, trying her best to hold her breath to avoid attracting attention.

Lan Bai wanted to ask Zhong Ren about the situation in the other direction, but paused. He noticed Hong Bai's abnormality and saw the mouse in front of him running and squeaking. He widened his eyes and then calmed down.

The mice sent Huang Bai to a closed room. No one knew how they got in, but after getting in, they started to eat each other. Their skin and flesh fell off, and thick black liquid oozed out of their bones. It seemed to be emitting a terrible stench. Lan Bai couldn't help but cover his mouth and nose, fearing that he would accidentally smell the liquid and vomit it out, and be discovered.

Jongin and Hongbaek walked behind him and also looked forward, but Hongbaek remained calm and thought it was most likely her hallucination. As long as it was an hallucination, there was nothing to be afraid of, so she forced herself to calm down. Jongin walked at the end with a subtle smile on his face, as if he was happy with the situation.

Hongbai didn't want to look directly at the situation inside, so she turned her head to avoid it, and suddenly saw the smile on Jongin's face. Jongin restrained his smile, approached Hongbai gently and worriedly, and asked in a low voice: "Excuse me, you don't look well? Do you need help? Or, is there anything I can do for you?"

Hongbai shook her head and quickly looked up, trying to distance herself from him and make her hallucination disappear. She stared at Jongin intently and moved her eyes away with difficulty, fearing that if she continued looking, Jongin's face would burst with many eyes smiling at her like pimples during puberty. She couldn't stand the stimulation and didn't want to see that kind of situation, so she closed her eyes and turned her head away.

She didn't realize that her thoughts had changed since she first came here.

Even his attitude seemed to have softened.

Seeing that she didn't want to talk more, Jongin stopped asking and considerately stepped back a little without saying anything.

Lan Bai stared at the room closely and saw that Huang Bai seemed to have woken up from his coma.

Lan Bai couldn't help but clench his teeth, afraid that he would accidentally shout out. If he was the only one here, he thought, it might be easier to move.

But there are other people here, and he can't take risks without caring about their safety.

Yellow-green liquid was seeping out from the room.
