“I’m not sure about your situation, because you were already in the air when I opened my eyes, but the other teachers did appear suddenly.”
The assistant director spoke very carefully, afraid that his mistakes might affect Ji Qian's judgment.
Ji Qian nodded and fell into deep thought once again.
Director Liu's rescue efforts were nearing completion.
Although Director Liu had extensive compression injuries to his abdomen and chest, fortunately no bones were damaged, and he recovered quickly after receiving oxygen.
"Cough cough, help me up, help me up, cough cough cough!"
When the assistant director saw Director Liu struggling to get up from the ground, he rushed over to help him, but accidentally stepped on the blanket and slipped, crashing into Director Liu.
Poor Director Liu had just recovered when he was hit again and was barely breathing.
The only saving grace was that the doctor hadn't gone far and soon began a new round of rescue efforts.
Han Mengyao was the second to regain consciousness. Her condition was worse than Ji Qian's. She not only had a splitting headache, but also accidentally injured her knee when she landed.
Seeing the dark bruises on Han Mengyao's legs, Ji Qian decisively asked the assistant director for a wheelchair. She then squatted down next to Han Mengyao and quietly recounted what had happened that morning.
Upon hearing that Ji Qian had crashed into Director Liu, Han Mengyao unconsciously tightened her grip on Ji Qian's hand and whispered the most crucial question:
Is Director Liu still alive?
Ji Qian glanced back at Director Liu, who had resumed oxygen therapy, and gave a very rigorous answer:
"He's still alive."
Han Mengyao breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this, and then immediately heard a huge impact from Director Liu's side.
Ji Qian was startled by the sudden loud noise and shuddered.
She turned around and saw that the assistant director, who was carrying the wheelchair, had accidentally dropped it onto Director Liu.
"Very good!"
Han Mengyao couldn't help but cheer softly. That way, even if something were to happen to Director Liu, it certainly wouldn't be Ji Qian's fault!
Still in shock, Ji Qian didn't hear Han Mengyao's cheers. Seeing the assistant director about to lift the wheelchair again, Ji Qian quickly raised her hand to stop him.
"Sister Meng, there's no rush here. Let Director Liu use the wheelchair first."
As she spoke, Ji Qian stepped forward and, together with the assistant director, lifted Director Liu into his wheelchair. Before leaving, she didn't forget to give him some instructions:
"Let Director Liu go burn some incense when we get back to China. I haven't seen such an unlucky person in a long time."
The last person Ji Qian knew who was this unlucky was Xu Qi when he was a child.
However, Xu Qi's fortune was affected by excessive yin energy back then, which is obviously not the same as Director Liu's situation.
Shortly after Director Liu was taken to the temporary rest room, Wang Yingying finally regained consciousness.
Surprisingly, Wang Yingying was in much better condition than Han Mengyao and Ji Qian. She quickly got up from the ground and even had the energy to cause trouble.
"I heard the director is having a really tough time. Can I go in and visit him?"
Upon hearing this, the assistant director couldn't help but picture the imposing face of a certain producer.
So he jogged a few steps, grabbed the staff member who was trying to open the door, and used his sturdy body to block the door completely, and said to Wang Yingying without any politeness:
"Teacher Wang, Director Liu's injuries are very serious. Please don't delay his treatment."
Having never seen the assistant director with such a serious expression, Wang Yingying remained silent for a long time before decisively changing her target:
"Sister Qianqian, what happened yesterday? Why did you suddenly faint?"
Ji Qian initially didn't want to pay any attention to Wang Yingying, but hearing what she said piqued her interest again:
"You didn't faint?"
No, no.
Wang Yingying was taken aback for a moment, but still obediently answered Ji Qian's question.
"What happened after Qianqian fainted yesterday?"
Han Mengyao asked the question with a smile on her face, but for some reason Wang Yingying felt a chill run down her spine.
"Later, Sister Yaoyao and Brother Xu Qi also fainted."
Wang Yingying still finds the whole thing outrageous.
When she saw Ji Qian and Han Mengyao faint one after another, she instinctively wanted to turn around and find her only remaining teammate, Xu Qi, to discuss a plan.
Unexpectedly, when I turned around, I saw Xu Qi lying on the ground with his eyes closed, clearly having been unconscious for a while.
Hearing the increasingly sharp female voice behind her and the tightly closed banquet hall doors in front of her, Wang Yingying felt that her life was over.
Wang Yingying stopped struggling and took out her phone to start writing her will seriously.
Just as Wang Yingying wrote, "Don't hack the phone, just burn it!", she suddenly felt a gust of wind sweep from behind her, forcefully lifting her up!
"Then I floated and floated, and it felt like I was floating in the air for a very, very long time. When I regained consciousness, I just happened to see you all, Sister Qianqian!"
Wang Yingying didn't say that she had actually vomited once during the floating process because she felt dizzy. At that time, she heard a scream from below, but it quickly disappeared.
"Is it the wind again..."
From the storm on the first night to the strange wind Wang Yingying mentioned last night.
Ji Qian always felt that ever since they entered this castle, they had been forced to deal with natural elements such as 'wind and rain'.
"Um, Qianqian, excuse me for interrupting you."
When Ji Qian cast a questioning glance, Han Mengyao raised her hand and pointed behind Wang Yingying:
"The assistant director looks a bit strange."
"What's strange about him? He's always been..."
Ji Qian thought Han Mengyao was referring to the counselor blocking the door, so she turned around without paying attention and saw that the assistant director who was originally standing at the door of the lounge had collapsed to the ground.
