Chapter 58 The Story of Qian Huailin

Mr. Sun was getting anxious, so he turned to this master for help. The master didn't hesitate and immediately offered a solution.

This method requires the lives of ten Taoist priests, and they must meet the strict requirements of being sixty, forty, thirty, and twenty years old.

After searching for a long time, Master Sun finally found the Shuiqing Temple, which perfectly met his requirements.

Qian Huailin was shocked to hear this and hurriedly tried to run back to the front yard to inform his master. However, before he could even step into the front yard, he saw his master lying on the table with blood flowing from all seven orifices.

Seeing that his master had already stopped breathing, Qian Huailin decisively turned around and ran towards Shuiqing Temple.

Shuiqing Temple is located on the top of Shuiqing Mountain. The mountain has a complex and treacherous road, making it difficult for those unfamiliar with the area to reach the top quickly. This has, to some extent, affected the temple's popularity.

When they reached the foot of the mountain, Qian Huailin wanted his fellow disciples to go to his home to avoid trouble, but the other Taoists, worried that it would bring disaster to Qian Huailin, refused him, arguing that it would be better to escape separately.

Qian Huailin then bid farewell to everyone at Shuiqing Observatory.

Unsure if there were Sun family pursuers behind him, Qian Huailin didn't dare go straight home and instead resumed his wandering life.

He wandered around for a few months, and after confirming that no one was chasing him, he happened to receive news that Qian Handuo was about to get married, so he returned to the Qian family mansion.

"Something's not right!" Ying Xu finally realized something was amiss: "You've confirmed there's no one chasing you, so why are you saying you killed your whole family?"
