Before Wang Xiaofei could grab Xiaoduo, Li Huai had already grabbed his collar.
Wang Xiaofei looked up and saw Li Huai's military uniform, and was pleasantly surprised.
"Uncle PLA!"
“This is my new dad,” Xiaoduo exclaimed.
She used to be bullied by her older brother Wang Xiaofei and never dared to fight back, but now, with her mother by her side and her tall and imposing new father, Xiaoduo has gained confidence.
A new dad? Wang Xiaofei looked at Li Huai, then at Wang Xiaoduo, his face full of disbelief.

Li Huai finally understood; it turned out that the boy in front of him was Qinglan's ex-husband's child.
"Impossible." Wang Xiaofei looked like he had been "betrayed."
"Believe it or not, I don't have time to argue with you. If you're not polite to Xiaoduo again, don't blame me for taking action against you."
She could temporarily ignore Wang Xiaofei's "childish" nature and not mind violating her principles by taking action against him, since he had bullied her daughter time and time again.
After saying this, Zhao Qinglan ignored the frightened Wang Xiaofei and quickly left with her daughter. Li Huai glanced at Wang Xiaofei and followed closely behind.
"Qinglan, give me some of the things," Li Huai called out.
Upon seeing Li Huai, Zhao Qinglan's emotions, which had been stirred up by Wang Xiaofei, calmed down slightly.
"I'm sorry, you must have seen this funny."
"It's okay, give me the things, I'll take them."
Zhao Qinglan didn't stand on ceremony and gave away half of what she was carrying.
Only after Li Huai walked alongside her did Zhao Qinglan begin to confide in him.
“My ex-husband had two children before, so I became a stepmother after I married into the family. Those two children always bullied Xiaoduo, and that was a big reason for my divorce. I didn’t want Xiaoduo to suffer in that family anymore,” she said frankly.
Li Huai nodded in understanding. "The past is the past. I will treat you well from now on."
"Yes, I believe you." Zhao Qinglan smiled.
Wang Xiaofei stood there stunned for a moment, then turned and ran home.
As soon as he pushed open the door and entered the room, he saw his grandmother leaning back in a recliner, listening to opera. He went over and turned off the radio.
When she found no movement, Grandma Wang opened her eyes, saw her eldest grandson, and then looked at the clock hanging on the wall, and was surprised.
"Xiaofei, it's not time for school to let out yet, why are you back?"
"Grandma, don't ask that yet, something's happened," Wang Xiaofei said anxiously.
"What happened?" Old Mrs. Wang immediately sat up.
"Xiaoduo has a new dad."
"What is that?" Old Mrs. Wang picked at her ear.
"Wang Xiaoduo has a new father, and he's a People's Liberation Army soldier."
Now that Grandma Wang understood, she asked with a puzzled look, "Where did you hear that from?"
“I saw it with my own eyes; Wang Xiaoduo and that woman both admitted it.”
“Tell Grandma everything that happened.”
Wang Xiaofei then recounted how he met Zhao Qinglan and the others, and what they talked about.
After hearing this, Old Lady Wang stood up in anger.
"So that's why this bitch suddenly started making a huge fuss about getting a divorce. Turns out she already had a lover. Oh, she actually dared to cheat on me!"
Grandma Wang grabbed her grandson and ran to the garment factory.
The gatekeeper already knew Old Lady Wang; she had caused quite a commotion at the factory last time, so he wouldn't let her in this time no matter what.
"How can I contact my son if I can't get in?" Old Mrs. Wang was extremely anxious.
"If you won't let me in, then call my Dazhi out!" she said, slapping her thigh.
The gatekeeper, fearing that Old Lady Wang would continue to cause trouble, agreed to call for help.
He asked someone to watch the door for him and went inside to the workshop.
Wang Dazhi was called out, looking impatient.
"What do you want from me?"
"Director Wang, your mother is here, waiting for you at the factory gate."

"Oh dear, the reason she's divorcing you is because she's having an affair!" Old Mrs. Wang explained anxiously.
In an instant, Wang Dazhi flew into a rage.
No wonder, that damn woman suddenly changed completely. She couldn't live a good life and had to get a divorce. It turns out she's having an affair.
How dare she cheat on him! He'll beat that shameless woman to death, and oh yes, and her lover too.
Wang Dazhi couldn't even bother with work anymore and immediately asked where Zhao Qinglan had gone.
Wang Xiaofei stammered and couldn't say anything, then suddenly thought of Li Huai and slapped his forehead.
"Dad, Wang Xiaoduo's new father lives in our courtyard."
