Chapter 20 It's Your Own Sowing

Upon seeing Sui Wenjing, the director of the Women's Federation, Wang Dazhi's arrogance subsided somewhat, but he remained furious.

"Director Sui, I, Wang Dazhi, have never offended you before, have I? Why are you destroying my family?" he accused.

Sui Wenjing laughed in anger. "Director Wang, I want to ask if I've offended you. You're putting this huge accusation on my head for no reason, and I'm not taking it."

"Should I take the blame for you?" Wang Dazhi sneered.

She then pointed at Li Huai. "Is he Zhao Qinglan's lover?"

Li Huai and Sui Wenjing were both stunned, while the others who heard it all looked on with gossip in their eyes.

Realizing what was happening, Sui Wenjing angrily said, "What nonsense are you talking about?"

"I'm talking nonsense? My Xiaofei saw him walking with Zhao Qinglan with his own eyes. Zhao Qinglan also admitted that he is Xiaoduo's new father. What else could he be but an adulterer?" Wang Dazhi acted like a victim.

"If I remember correctly, Comrade Zhao Qinglan is already divorced, isn't she?" Li Huai said coldly.

"Exactly! Qinglan has already divorced you, and you still won't let her find someone else? Wang Dazhi, you're really shameless." Sui Wenjing mocked after figuring out what was going on.

Since Wang Dazhi had already come to their house to make trouble, she no longer cared about saving face as a colleague.

She already disliked Wang Dazhi because of Zhao Qinglan.

"Hmph, who knows how good you two are at hooking up? If you hadn't hooked her up, she would have made a huge fuss about divorcing me?" Wang Dazhi looked at Li Huai with disdain.

"Do you know what punishment you will receive for slandering soldiers?" Li Huai said calmly without getting angry.

Wang Dazhi backed down a bit, but still stubbornly said, "Does being a soldier give you the right to steal other people's wives?"

"Wang Dazhi, don't spew nonsense. Before you and Qinglan divorced, Qinglan didn't even know Comrade Li Huai. Li Huai is my wife's comrade-in-arms's subordinate. My wife and his old comrade-in-arms acted as matchmakers for them," Sui Wenjing said angrily.

"I told you, this comrade doesn't look like that kind of person."

"Yes, he looks very upright."

"How could Wenjing and her husband do such a despicable thing? It's impossible."

The onlookers started chattering amongst themselves.

Wang Dazhi, however, refused to believe what he was hearing.

"Ha, you have mouths on your bodies, so you can say whatever you want," Old Mrs. Wang rolled her eyes.

"Believe it or not, get out of my house right now!" Sui Wenjing shouted, pointing to the door.

"I'm not leaving, what can you do to me?" Old Mrs. Wang started throwing a tantrum.

"Wang Dazhi, take your mother away right now, or I'll go and complain to the factory manager and the others. I don't believe there's no one in charge of this factory." Sui Wenjing was furious.

"Sister Sui, how about I go find the police and tell them there are people causing trouble here and slandering soldiers? I'm sure they'll be willing to take action," Li Huai said.

Upon hearing that he was being asked to contact both factory leaders and the police, Wang Dazhi finally calmed down.

He reluctantly pulled his mother up, and said threateningly, "You just wait and see, this isn't over yet."

After they left, Sui Wenjing waved helplessly to the onlookers. "Everyone, let's go, let's go."

"Sister Sui, I'm so sorry for causing you trouble," Li Huai said apologetically.

Sui Wenjing helped her mother-in-law sit down and shook her head and sighed at Li Huai.

"It's not your fault. Wang Dazhi's family are just mad dogs, always looking for trouble."

Even if Sui Wenjing didn't blame him, Li Huai still felt very sorry.

When Li Aiguo returned and learned what had happened, he was so angry that he was about to rush to the Wang family to settle accounts, but his wife stopped him.

"They're a family of mad dogs; you can't reason with them at all."

"Even if I can't explain it to them, I'll still make them understand what's what."

After saying that, Li Aiguo picked up his weapon and rushed out.

When he arrived at the Wang family's house, he smashed things up in a chaotic mess, and after venting his anger, he turned and left.

Wang Dazhi was a coward who bullied the weak and feared the strong. Seeing Li Aiguo's fierce face, he didn't dare to move at all.

Li Aiguo was a soldier and still works in the armed forces department. He trains regularly, so even if Wang Dazhi really wanted to fight, he wouldn't be a match for Li Aiguo.

In fact, if Li Huai hadn't been mindful of his status as an active-duty soldier, he would have gone beyond simply restraining Wang Dazhi and would have physically assaulted him.

He was so glad that Zhao Qinglan had left this scoundrel.

This matter is not over yet. Even though Sui Wenjing has already explained, she is still afraid that the Wang family will spread rumors everywhere.

This will not only affect Zhao Qinglan's reputation, but also their family. People who don't know the truth might really think that their family is encouraging the destruction of someone else's family.

The next morning, Sui Wenjing went to the factory to complain to the leaders and explained the seriousness of the matter.

Her implication was that if the factory didn't stop the rumors and take action, the military would be very unhappy and might contact their local government for assistance.

Otherwise, if news spreads that active-duty soldiers are breaking up marriages, it will have a very negative impact on the military.

The factory leaders were initially hesitant.

When Li Aiguo arrived at his office, he also called his old comrade-in-arms and gave him a long talk.

Sun Shengli was furious when he heard this. How dare they bully his soldiers and use such despicable means? It was outrageous!

Without saying a word, he made several phone calls.

When Factory Manager Liu of the garment factory received a reprimanding phone call from his supervisor, his expression turned sour after hanging up.

"Can't this Wang Dazhi just stay quiet for a moment!"

At this moment, Director Liu's impression of Wang Dazhi was absolutely terrible.

Wang Dazhi was initially skeptical of Sui Wenjing and Li Huai's words, but he was completely dumbfounded after seeing the disciplinary decision against him.

The factory held a meeting and decided to remove him from his position as director.
