Chapter 204 Yearning to Start Over

"Qingzhu, I can leave, but could you give me a copy of the photo you took, the one that you all have?"

Zhao Qingzhu was silent for a moment, then turned and went upstairs. She came down quickly, holding a family photo of herself, her two daughters, and her eldest sister Zhao Qinglan's family.

"for you."

Old Zhao took the photo and carefully put it away.

"Qingju, you continue packing. I'll take him to the station."

Fearing that something might happen to her second sister if she went along, Zhao Qingju followed along with her. "I'll go too."

"Okay then, let's go together."

Old Zhao went upstairs, slung his bag over his shoulder, and while his two daughters weren't looking, slipped something under his pillow.

As soon as he came out, Zhao Qingzhu locked the door.

Just as I locked the door and was about to leave, a car pulled up in front of me.

"Big sister, why are you here so early?" Zhao Qingju exclaimed.

Zhao Qinglan got out of the car.

Upon seeing his eldest daughter, Zhao Laoda's dim eyes brightened somewhat. "Qinglan!"

Upon seeing Zhao Laoda, Zhao Qinglan simply nodded. "You're going to the station? Then get on the train."

This time, Zhao Laoda sat in the passenger seat, while Zhao Qinglan and her two sisters sat in the back.

Because of Zhao Laoda's presence, the car was quiet.

They arrived at the train station in silence. Li Huai went to buy tickets, and Zhao Qinglan stood in front of Boss Zhao.

"I don't care how you found out our address. Since you have no other plans, then don't bother us again."

Upon learning from her sister that Zhao Laoda simply wanted to see them, Zhao Qinglan felt much more at ease.

"Qinglan, I'm sorry," Boss Zhao said in a deep voice.

Zhao Qinglan smiled slightly. "The past doesn't matter anymore. As long as you don't disturb our lives, that's the best apology you can give us."

In fact, Boss Zhao still had countless things he wanted to say.

For example, the family has already separated, and he has broken ties with the other two branches of the family. For example, he wants to make amends to the mother and her daughters.

Unfortunately, these words lost all weight after Zhao Qinglan's words, and he swallowed them all back.

"I understand," he said, only three words.

When Zhao Laoda got into the car, Zhao Qinglan couldn't help but sigh.

She never expected that Zhao Laoda could change so much. If he hadn't been so infuriating in the past, she probably would have felt sorry for him and wanted to keep him. Fortunately, she remained steadfast.

"Never mind, I'll stop thinking about these things," she said, smiling as she looked at her sisters.

"Come on, bride, smile. Tomorrow is your big day. Come on, Mom must be getting impatient at home."

After saying that, the three sisters got into the car, chatting and laughing.

On the train, stroking the photo in his hand, Old Zhao was in tears.

If only I could do it all over again.
