June 1st is Da Wa's birthday. Zhao Qinglan originally wanted to celebrate with the child properly, but Da Wa said it wasn't necessary, as it would be a waste of time, and she didn't want the family to be too tired.
His family had a meal together and shared cake to celebrate his birthday.
Erwa, on the other hand, made his request long before his birthday.
"Mom, all my classmates know about our hot pot restaurant. Many of them haven't tried it and want to. Could I treat some of my classmates to a meal there for my birthday?"
