Chapter 576 The Third Child Participates in a Physics Competition

Shortly after Zhao Qinglan returned from Shanghai, Lanxin was officially upgraded to a group.

The company established a board of directors, and Zhao Qinglan became the chairman.

Zhao Qinglan gave the position of general manager to Zhang Wenjing.

Zhang Wenjing has become a general manager at the young age of thirty. Some people are envious, some are jealous, and of course, some are dissatisfied.

In fact, Zhang Wenjing is one of the veterans of Lanxin and one of the earliest college graduates to join the company.

She is fully qualified in terms of experience. The only complaints are that she is too young and a woman, yet she is able to be the general manager.

When these people are dissatisfied, they forget that Zhao Qinglan, the boss, is also a woman, and she only appreciates female colleagues with outstanding work abilities.

Zhao Qinglan also returned to the provincial capital for several days to discuss the company's upgrade to a group.

Lanxin's inspection of the various branches has yielded certain results, and the company has also eliminated some corrupt elements.

Zhao Qinglan is exactly forty years old this year. Seeing Lanxin, which she founded, grow into a sizable group, she feels proud and accomplished.

Lanxin has encountered setbacks and difficulties along the way, but fortunately she has overcome them all.

Some people were not optimistic about Lanxin at first, but they never expected that Lanxin would become one of the top industries in their province, even when it is compared with some large state-owned factories.

If we only consider private enterprises, Lanxin firmly ranks among the top three.

As Lan Xin grows bigger and stronger, she now needs to attend more official meetings and events.

She declined many offers by making the excuse that she lived in Guangzhou.

Originally, no one from Lanxin knew that Erwa had joined Lanxin's company, but the company inspection in Haishi gradually spread the word.

Upon learning that the chairman's son had already started his internship at the company, everyone privately speculated whether Erwa would take over Lanxin in the future.

When the eldest son got married, many of the company's middle and senior managers attended the wedding. They also knew that the second son was an active-duty military officer, and guessed that he was going to follow in his father's footsteps and inherit his father's connections in the military. It was unlikely that he would come back to take over the family business.

Zhao Qinglan didn't care what her subordinates were speculating about. She had already figured it out: if no one in the family could inherit Lanxin, she would find a professional manager to take care of it.

After finishing her work at the group, she returned to Guangzhou.

Li Huai had been eagerly awaiting his wife's return home, but she soon went to the provincial capital again.

When his wife came home this time, she couldn't help but nag. "You seem busier than me every day."

"What's wrong? Any opinions?"

"How could I dare?"

So it actually still exists?

Zhao Qinglan glanced at her husband.

"I didn't say anything to you when you were busy with work."

Li Huai sighed in frustration, "Sometimes, I really want to retire early and travel around with you."

"Are you willing to do that?"

"To be honest, I'm not willing to give you up, but I just want to spend some time with you."

"Alright, alright, stop being so sentimental. While you still have the energy, contribute to the country for a few more years. As for me, I'll work hard to earn more money and pay more taxes. When we can't work anymore, we'll retire and travel around."

After hearing what she said, Li Huai even started looking forward to retirement.

"Okay, let's both do a good job."

Sanwa watched as his father would occasionally act dramatic, requiring his mother to comfort him, and he must have resisted the urge to roll his eyes countless times.

Even now, he still occasionally talks to his older brothers on the phone.

Both the eldest and second children still care a lot about their family.

They found it funny to hear the younger brother's complaints about their father, but at the same time they were also envious that the third child could stay at home.

Even though Erwa went to work and live in Haishi for his girlfriend, he still missed his family.

Sanwa doesn't talk much at home, but with him around, the house is always different.

In his second year of high school, the third child unsurprisingly chose science.

Actually, he did very well in all subjects, but he just preferred science.

Because of his early exposure to and research in physics, his current depth of knowledge in physics is probably no less than that of an average undergraduate student.

Knowing that he was good at physics, his physics teacher also encouraged him to participate in physics competitions.

Sanwa isn't interested in winning awards, but he's very interested in learning physics knowledge that he can't learn in the classroom and competing and exchanging ideas with physics enthusiasts from different schools and regions.

Sanwa already knew everything in the high school physics textbook. After the physics teacher knew how well he had mastered the subject, he tacitly approved of Sanwa's little habit of reading random physics publications in class.

Knowing that he likes physics, his family members have an unconscious habit of collecting related materials and books for him.

Even when Xiaoduo is abroad, if she sees a physics paper or finds a physics book in the library in the United States, she will go to great lengths to find or make a copy for her younger brother and mail it back to him.

Because there were so many physics books and materials, the third child's own room was already full, and many of them were put in his two older brothers' rooms.

It's only because neither of my two children lives at home that it hasn't had much of an impact.

Zhao Qinglan and Li Huai, the parents, never worried about their youngest son's school life because they were busy with work and had little time to concern themselves with it.

Sanwa was always an excellent student and his parents were never called in. Even in junior high school, a few people knew about his family situation.

When he entered high school, Sanwa was lazy and averse to trouble due to his personality, and he was also very low-key. Apart from his good grades, no one at school really knew about his family background.

More than a year into their son's high school years, Zhao Qinglan and Li Huai first inquired about his school life when their son told them that he was going to another city to participate in the National Physics Olympiad finals.
