Xiao Duo never expected that the surprise her boyfriend mentioned would be a marriage proposal.
As Zhou Yunting proposed, his friends started to cheer him on.
"Promise him."
"You do!"
"What are you waiting for, young lady?"
Although she hadn't expected it, Xiaoduo was moved after the initial shock.
She nodded, her eyes red-rimmed. "I do."
Zhou Yunting suddenly stood up and hugged her tightly.
"Quickly kiss her."

After they separated, panting, he chuckled softly, "So happy?"
Xiao Duo raised her hand. "Yes, I'm your fiancée now."
"What kind of ceremony do you like? Shall we hold the engagement ceremony first?" He had just been consulting with a friend about related matters.
"I didn't expect it to be done so soon?" Xiaoduo asked doubtfully.
"You've already accepted my proposal, don't you want to marry me sooner?"
"I'm fine with it, but I haven't told my family yet."
"Before you graduate and return to China, let's at least have an engagement ceremony. Or, I'll go back with you and have it in China?"

After calculating the time, Xiaoduo made a phone call back to China.
On the phone, she excitedly told her mother that Zhou Yunting had proposed to her.

When her daughter asked about the timing of the engagement ceremony and whether it would be held in China or abroad, Zhao Qinglan considered it for a moment and decided to prefer it to be held in China.
