Li Huai had long been on guard against Wang Dazhi causing trouble for Zhao Qinglan.
Without Zhao Qinglan's knowledge, he asked someone at the entrance of the alley where she lived to keep an eye on the area.
If Zhao Qinglan and her daughter encounter any trouble, they can both help and immediately inform them.
After living with her daughter, Zhao Qinglan felt incredibly relaxed.
Even though I still have to do housework, it's still better than serving the entire Wang family and their ancestors.
Xiao Duo is sensible at a young age. Because of her experience as a child bride, she knows a lot of chores and always helps Zhao Qinglan.

She quickly turned around and said, "Xiaoduo, Wang Dazhi is here. Hide well and don't come out."
During the few days she spent with her mother, Xiaoduo learned about some of her mother's experiences in the Wang family, and also realized that the suffering she had endured was also due to the Wang family.
Therefore, despite their close blood relationship, she had no feelings for the rest of the Wang family.
Hearing her mother's words, she became worried.
"Mom, let me go out with you."
"No, he doesn't know you've been found yet, you can't show your face."
Xiao Duo has made a public appearance, which has further complicated her divorce from Wang Dazhi.
Moreover, she was afraid that the Wang family would take Xiaoduo back.
Although Li Huai promised to help them, she couldn't place all her hopes on others.

Zhao Qinglan then walked out.

"What are you doing here?" Zhao Qinglan frowned.
"You still have the nerve to ask me? You slut! You're still registered in the Wang family household register, and you dare to run off with my things!" Wang Dazhi gritted his teeth.
He wouldn't go into details about what he'd been robbed of when there were outsiders around, but the thought of it always pained him.
"I have my own personal freedom; I can go wherever I want. Besides, I only took my own things." Want her to admit she absconded with the money? Dream on!
It was virtually impossible for the Wang family to politely offer compensation to the mother and daughter, so she had to start planning ahead.
Seeing that Zhao Qinglan wouldn't admit it, Wang Dazhi got so angry that he was about to slap her.

Wang Dazhi thought that after he said those words, those people wouldn't dare to speak, but he didn't expect that he had stirred up a hornet's nest.

Several people were outraged.
Wang Dazhi was surprised. He gave a wink to the men he had brought, and the young men then stepped forward.
"Big sister, big sister, thank you for helping me." Zhao Qinglan was truly grateful.
Judging from the situation here, those guys were a bit intimidated.
After all, the people Wang Dazhi brought didn't look like good people; they were just ordinary folks.
"Zhao Qinglan, I'm telling you this now, you're not getting a divorce. I'm not willing, and even if you take me to court, it won't work. Who do you think you are? Do you even know which way the courthouse doors face?"
Feeling looked down upon and despised by Wang Dazhi, Zhao Qinglan's teeth chattered.
The landlord and several neighbors also looked at Zhao Qinglan with concern.
"I'm definitely getting a divorce, Wang Dazhi. Don't think you can control everything."
Wang Dazhi remained unmoved, looking at her with a mocking expression.
Just as Zhao Qinglan was getting carried away, Li Huai rushed in with two police officers.
"Qinglan, are you alright?" Li Huai asked worriedly.
Upon seeing him, Zhao Qinglan's initial energy immediately dissipated by more than half.
"I'm fine."
Upon seeing the police officers in uniform, Wang Dazhi and the people he brought with them stood up straight.
After showing concern for his wife, Li Huai turned his sharp gaze to the group of people.
"What are you going to do?"
"Oh, comrade, it's a misunderstanding, a misunderstanding. My wife had a fight with me and ran away. I finally managed to find her." As he spoke, Wang Dazhi offered Li Huai a cigarette.
He subconsciously ignored the way Li Huai addressed Zhao Qinglan as soon as he rushed in.
Li Huai wouldn't accept his cigarette; he simply slapped it away.
When the person he had asked called the police station, his heart nearly jumped out of his chest. He immediately called two people to run over. Fortunately, Qinglan was alright, otherwise he probably would have ignored his clothes and attacked Wang Dazhi immediately.
“I know about your situation. Comrade Qinglan has filed for divorce. You brought people here to cause trouble. Be careful, or I’ll take you back to the station.”
Only then did Wang Dazhi realize that the man in front of him had an unusual relationship with his wife, and his gaze towards Li Huai changed completely.
How come he doesn't remember that Zhao Qinglan knows such a person?
"Which police station or branch office are you from? I'm quite familiar with Section Chief Xing from your municipal bureau."
Wang Dazhi thought that by bringing these things out, Li Huai and the others would develop a sense of awe towards him, but before Li Huai could say anything, the young police officers following him started laughing.
"This is our new Deputy Director Li, not from the branch office, but from the municipal office."
Wang Dazhi's heart tightened.
He just brought up Captain Xing, which was just a case of someone borrowing power to intimidate others. He had only met him twice at dinner parties when he went out for business, and the two were not very familiar with each other, only having each other's contact information.
