Chapter 25 Li Hanting drank the bowl of chicken soup

"I don't need it!" Su Wanruo said angrily and stood up and left.

"No need, forget it!" She still thinks she's beautiful after falling for a divorced man! Tsk—she wouldn't even want someone like Xu Changan even if he were given to her for free. Fang Ran muttered in frustration.

It was not enough to just embarrass Li Qingge in the army. Fang Ran saw that Grandpa Li was protecting her. If Li Qingge could completely lose face in the military compound, she could be kicked out!

Fang Ran secretly made a plan.

Military district compound.

Aunt Lian was busy stewing soup in the kitchen. She heard some noise behind her. She turned around and saw Fang Ran about to come in. She waved her hand and said, "Get out quickly. The kitchen is full of smoke. Don't look back and get your clothes dirty!"

Fang Ran went straight in and looked at the pot of stew on the stove. "Mom, what's stewing? It smells so good!"

"It's old hen soup." Aunt Lian whispered to Fang Ran's ear, lowering her voice, "This is what the old man asked me to stew for the little girl. I'll serve the soup to you later and add some water to it and send it to her!"

"Okay~" Fang Ran smiled, as if she had thought of something. "Mom, I plan to look for a job tomorrow morning. The sleeve of the clothes I'm going to wear tomorrow has a hole. Can you help me sew it up?"

Aunt Lian nodded and said, "Okay, I'll sew it for you tonight."

"It will be too late to sew it tonight, and you have nothing to do now." Fang Ran urged, "It will only take a few minutes. I'll keep an eye on the pot for you. Just tell me how much longer you want it to simmer, and then I'll turn off the heat for you!"

"The fire will be turned off in a few minutes. You stay here and watch while I go to sew the clothes for you." Aunt Lian always responded to her daughter's requests and then walked out.

Fang Ran watched her mother enter the house. She turned off the fire in advance and carefully poured the soup from the pot into a small bowl. She hesitated for a moment before taking out the pills from her pocket and put them in. She gently stirred with a small spoon so that the pills could fully dissolve.

"Is it ready?" Aunt Lian returned to the kitchen after finishing sewing. Seeing her daughter had already filled a small bowl of soup, she said, "Drink it quickly."

"Mom, I don't drink it because I'm on a diet." Fang Ran shook her head, "You should send it to Li Qingge!"

"It's a shame not to drink such a delicious soup." Aunt Lian has high blood pressure and can't drink greasy chicken soup. She sighed helplessly. What a cheap little bitch!

Fang Ran stared at her mother handing the chicken soup to Li Qingge. Her palms were unconsciously soaked with sweat. Her throat swallowed up and down unconsciously and she hurriedly left the kitchen.

The tiles above the room where Li Qingge previously lived have all been replaced, and she also moved back from Li Hanting's room.

Aunt Lian walked into the yard and noticed Li Qingge playing chess with Old Man Li. She cursed them several times in her heart and then smiled and handed them over. "Qingge, this is the old hen soup I just made. It's very nourishing. Drink it while it's hot."

Li Qingge said "hmm" in a neither light nor heavy tone, his attention focused on the chessboard.

Old Master Li had a serious expression, all wrinkled on his face, as if he was facing a great enemy.

"Here" a low and magnetic voice sounded, and Li Hanting stretched out his bony fingers and pointed casually at the chessboard.

"How could I not know to put it here? You're talking too much!" Old Master Li said with disdain to Li Hanting, and put the chess piece over.

Li Qingge's brows relaxed, "Grandpa Li, you lost this round again—"

Old Master Li sighed with regret and glared at Li Hanting with a resentful look, "You lost, it's all your fault!"

Li Hanting: (ー_ー)!!

Li Qingge cleared the chessboard. "Grandpa Li, do you want to play another game?"

"No, no, you little girl, you don't even know how to give me some time!" Old Master Li waved his hand. Li Qingge was truly amazing. He'd never beaten her in a game of chess! She must have inherited Old Master Li's true skills!

Li Qingge twitched the corners of his lips, "Grandpa Li, I'm respecting my opponent!"

"Aunt Lian, go get him another bowl of soup," Old Master Li said, referring to Li Hanting, and complained, "He needs to replenish his brain!"

Aunt Lian quickly came over with a bowl of chicken soup.

Li Qingge stared at the greasy chicken soup in the bowl in shock.

She is going to join the crew to film a movie next, so it is very important to manage her body shape.

The next second, the bowl of chicken soup in his hand was taken away.

Li Hanting gave her the bowl that Aunt Lian gave him. His bowl didn't have much oil.

"Aunt Lian, Fang Ran is old now. It's not appropriate for you two to squeeze in the same room. Let Fang Ran move to the room next to Qingge!" Old Master Li said suddenly.

Aunt Lian nodded happily, "Okay! I'll go clean up the room right away!"

Li Qingge sipped the chicken soup, it tasted good.

There was a hint of oil on the corners of her pink lips, and Li Hanting's eyes darkened.

Chicken soup seems delicious.

Li Hanting drank the bowl empty.

Aunt Lian happily returned to the house, "Quick! Pack up your things and move to the room across the street! The old leader gave you a room, but you still complain that we're too crowded in this room, don't you?!"

Fang Ran sat on the kang with her back to him. She heard Aunt Lian's voice cautiously ask, "Has Li Qingge had his soup?"

"Drink it." Aunt Lian asked casually, "Stop standing there! Move in tonight."

Fang Ran said "Oh" absentmindedly.

late at night.

Li Qingge was awakened by the rustling noises in the next room.

What is Fang Ran doing? She's not sleeping late at night. She must be bored and have nothing to do!

Li Qingge covered his head with the quilt, but he didn't expect the noise to become even louder.

“Crackle, crackle—”

Is there a mouse? Li Qingge felt a little scared when he thought about it.

She is fearless, but what she fears most are rats, cockroaches and the like.

Li Qingge wanted to hear more clearly when there was a knock on the door.

"Who is it?"
