Mei Nan casually revealed the truth that she had kept hidden for many years.
Upon hearing the last sentence, Yu Yan's scalp tingled, and she felt a buzzing sound in her head, followed by a flash of white light.

Yu Yan froze on the spot.

"And what about Dean Xia?" Shao Muyan remained unmoved and asked coldly, "How much does she know?"
Yu Yan also looked up.
From the moment they began investigating Shao Yun's background, Dean Xia told them a lot about the Mei family mother and daughter, their experiences, and how pitiful they were, easily garnering their sympathy and making people less hostile even if they had doubts.

"Stop her!"

Yu Yan and Shao Muyan's expressions both changed, and they both stepped forward at the same time.
Yu Yan kicked Mei Nan with a high kick, grabbed her wrist, and slapped her across the face.

The Shao family was large, and almost all the bodyguards surrounded them, so no matter how skilled Mei Nan was, she couldn't escape.

"I didn't mean to run away, my mother was kidnapped."
Mei Nan showed her phone to Yu Yan, who had just received photos of Aunt Mei being kidnapped.
Shao Muyan and Yu Yan looked down and blinked.
“My every move is being monitored year-round, and so are yours.”
Mei Nan looked up at Yu Yan and Shao Muyan and said, "We're all in this together. I can't escape, and neither can you. This is a warning. If I continue, my mother will die."
"Yu Yan, Third Master."
Mei Nan took a step back and bowed down to kowtow twice to Yu Yan and Shao Muyan, making a loud thud.

Xiang Jingheng had just arrived at the Donglong Hotel when he bumped into Mei Nan, who was rushing out. He frowned when he saw her swollen cheeks.
What are you doing here? What happened to your face?
When Mei Nan saw Xiang Jingheng, her nose tingled with emotion, but she only smiled at him and ran towards her car without saying a word.
They disappeared into the distance.
Xiang Jingheng: "..."
What's wrong?
Immediately afterwards, Shao Muyan and Yu Yan walked out of the hotel one after the other, and saw Xiang Jingheng walk right past him and head towards their car.
