Chapter 128 Exclusive Pet

The moment the door closed, Song Qingyou seemed to lose all her strength, collapsing to the ground in a slump, a cold glint in her eyes.

The night was chilly, and the moonlight bathed her figure, making her appear even more frail.

Song Qingyou felt as if she had returned to her childhood, surrounded by a cacophony of voices, yet none of them belonged to her. Outside, countless lights shone, but she was utterly alone, like the lingering echo above the sounds of laughter and chatter.

The room was dimly lit. She curled up on the cold floor, her face buried in her knees, her shoulders trembling, like a lone log adrift at sea, with no home, surrounded only by the vast ocean, with no end in sight.

The only person she ever truly owned was Fu Wenzhou.

All she wanted was a home with Fu Wenzhou.

But she drove away her light and her home.

Song Qingyou felt a dull pain in her heart. She wanted to cough but couldn't; the cough was stuck in her chest and heart, making it difficult to breathe.

Just as that dull pain was about to spread throughout my body.

With a "thud".

The door opened.

Light is coming in.

Fu Wenzhou walked in with a sullen face, carrying a bowl of noodles. As he closed the door, he said in a cold tone, "I didn't mean to come in and bother you, but even if you're angry, you still have to eat. I made you some noodles. I'll leave after you finish eating. I'll consider your suggestion to calm down. Also... why are you sitting on the floor? It's so cold!"

Fu Wenzhou was so anxious that he didn't even have time to put down his face. He picked Song Qingyou up from the ground with one hand and put her on the bed.

"I know you're angry with me, but you can't ruin your health like this." Fu Wenzhou looked furious, pacing around in circles with his noodles in hand, afraid to speak loudly for fear of upsetting him further.

Song Qingyou slowly raised her head, and the moment she saw Fu Wenzhou, the chill and intense sense of loneliness she felt vanished instantly.

As her body gradually warmed up, she moved her lips and said, "Didn't you slam the door and leave?"

Fu Wenzhou was so angry he almost laughed: "When did I slam the door? Didn't I just block it with my hand?"

"Oh," Song Qingyou replied indifferently, and then fell silent.

In fact, the two of them had just argued half an hour ago, and she didn't know what to say now.

Fu Wenzhou gritted his teeth, his expression fierce, but what he said was utterly pathetic: "I don't know because someone else taught me, I know it because..."

He simply couldn't bring himself to say why.

But he was also afraid that he would hear something from Song Qingyou about kicking him out.

He growled, with a "what's the use" attitude: "I just wanted to find you, but I couldn't find an excuse."

Song Qingyou was taken aback: "What?"

As she continued her questioning, Fu Wenzhou, enraged, launched into another accusation: "You never tell me about any trouble you encounter. You only think about solving it yourself. But I'm your boyfriend! Why can't you try to rely on me? I'm not an unreasonable person. If you..."

Song Qingyou interrupted him: "You are."

"?"

Fu Wenzhou was silent for a few seconds, then simply admitted, "Yes, I am unreasonable. But tonight, it's only because I wanted to see you, but I couldn't bring myself to do it, so..."

Song Qingyou said coolly, "There are times when you can't bring yourself to do it."

Fu Wenzhou: "..."

He choked up for a moment, then handed her the noodles: "Eat the noodles first."

Song Qingyou didn't even glance at it: "I don't want to eat, you can leave."

Fu Wenzhou's narrow eyes glared, forming a rounded shape, both angry and helpless. He put down his bowl, took a step forward, squatted down to be at eye level with Song Qingyou, and then reached out to pull her into his arms.

She sighed softly, her voice muffled and deep: "From now on, I'll only listen to you, sister."

Song Qingyou's spine stiffened slightly, and she tightened her grip on her fingertips pressing against her arms.

Fu Wenzhou held her in his arms as if she were a rare and precious treasure.

The unruly man softened his tone once again: "Don't be angry. From now on, I'll only listen to you."

Song Qingyou heard him say in her ear, "Fu Wenzhou is your exclusive pet, only yours."

Her heart felt as if it had been struck by something, contracting suddenly and causing intense pain.

A tear slid down Song Qingyou's cheek as she leaned her head on Fu Wenzhou's shoulder, her voice trembling slightly: "I'm sorry, I taught you to be equal in relationships, and I told you that no one belongs to anyone else, but I can't do it myself."

I'm sorry, I'm always so demanding of you, while I'm cowardly and selfish myself.

I'm sorry, I know everything, but I still can't control my temper.

I'm sorry, I seem to have been thinking about things from my own perspective without considering your feelings.

I'm sorry, I just... love you too much.

Song Qingyou spoke silently.

Fu Wenzhou chuckled twice, his tone filled with pride and satisfaction: "Sister, I like you like this."

Song Qingyou looked up in surprise, her eyelashes slightly damp, her expression showing a hint of incomprehension: "What?"

Fu Wenzhou kissed her cheek, wiping away the tear with his kiss, like a child who had received a rainbow candy: "I've never played a game before! Sister, how about we play one?"

Song Qingyou asked with a puzzled look, "How do you play?"

Fu Wenzhou's voice was excited and thrilled: "I'll strip naked, then you'll tie me up with a chain, lock me in the house, and be your most loyal little dog!"

Song Qingyou: "..."

She shouldn't have asked.

Song Qingyou silently pushed him away and walked to the table to start eating noodles.

I was thinking while I was eating.

Why should I get angry with a husky whose thought process is so unusual?

Fu Wenzhou sat on the edge of the bed watching Song Qingyou eat noodles, his mind filled with all sorts of play scenarios. He felt like he had discovered a new continent and had already begun planning how to trick her.
