Chapter 50 Song Qingyou is getting married

The VIP suite on the top floor at night.

Fu Wenzhou kept chugging wine down his throat, one glass after another, as if he didn't care about his life.

Gu Bai and Xu Zezhan exchanged a glance, not daring to offer any advice.

Liang Muchuan scoffed: "When are you going to get rid of this habit of torturing yourself every time you're heartbroken?"

Gu Bai muttered under his breath, "Has he ever been in a relationship?"

Fu Wenzhou suddenly glanced at him, and Gu Bai immediately fell silent.

Fu Wenzhou looked down at the wine in his hand, a self-deprecating smile curving his lips.

Xu Zezhan stood up for his brother, saying, "What exactly does Song Qingyou mean? You're always sending her expensive medicinal herbs, treating her like a precious treasure, but she's always pushing you away. In my opinion, this woman is heartless and has no conscience at all. Otherwise... okay, okay, I won't say anything more, okay? You're hopeless!"

Fu Wenzhou then withdrew his gaze and continued to pour wine without saying a word.

Gu Bai couldn't stand it anymore: "Stop drinking! Do you really want to drink yourself to death?"

Liang Muchuan said, "Don't worry about him, the doctor is waiting outside, he won't die."

Gu Bai: "...You've really thought of everything."

Liang Muchuan sneered: "Has he changed his dog temper all these years? He just wants to get himself drunk, act pitiful, and then try to gain sympathy from Song Qingyou. I'm not saying this to criticize you, Fu Wenzhou, but you've been using this trick for so many years, don't you get tired of it?"

"What's so greasy about it? As long as Song Qingyou likes it, that's fine." Xu Zezhan lit a cigarette and clicked his tongue.

Fu Wenzhou grabbed his coat, got up, and left.

Gu Bai asked in surprise, "You're not drinking?"

Fu Wenzhou's voice was deep and hoarse: "It's winter, and she's afraid of the cold."

Leaving behind a vague and ambiguous statement, the man walked away quickly.

Gu Bai asked in confusion, "What do you mean? I don't understand."

Xu Zezhan slowly exhaled a puff of smoke: "I'm in a hurry to get back and warm someone's bed."

"..." Gu Baicao uttered a sound.

Fu Wenzhou walked hurriedly, seemingly in a real rush to get back. As he went downstairs, a woman bumped into him.

The smell is pungent.

The man frowned slightly and stepped aside, but a piece of his clothing still brushed against him.

Fu Wenzhou's face immediately turned cold.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. You... Fu Wenzhou?" The woman looked up, a hint of surprise in her eyes. "What are you doing here?"

Fu Wenzhou recognized the face and frowned: "What does my presence here have to do with you?"

Ruan Yinyin was already used to the other party's cold attitude: "Want to have a drink together?"

Fu Wenzhou: "I'm busy."

After he finished speaking, he started to walk downstairs, but Ruan Yinyin quickly grabbed his arm.

She pouted as if to pout: "Why are you always so cold to me? It's my birthday today, can you spend some time with me?"

Fu Wenzhou's face darkened: "Let go."

Ruan Yinyin's expression changed, but she still managed a smile: "What's wrong? Give me, the birthday girl, some face!"

Fu Wenzhou glanced down at her hand that was holding his, a hint of coldness on his thin lips: "I'll say it again, let go."

Annoyance flashed in Ruan Yinyin's eyes, probably because she felt that Fu Wenzhou was too tactless. So she stopped pretending and let go of his hand, saying, "Fu Wenzhou, you rejected me when I confessed to you last time, and you didn't even spend my birthday with me this time. Are you that annoyed with me?"

Fu Wenzhou's patience ran out, and he swept his sharp gaze over her: "Yes, it's annoying. Please get as far away from me as possible and don't come near me."

His blunt disgust hurt Ruan Yinyin's pride. She had been pampered since childhood and was always fawned over by others, but with Fu Wenzhou, she was constantly met with setbacks.

It's his honor that she likes him; he should be happy. Why is she ignoring him?

Ruan Yinyin was annoyed. Seeing him about to leave, she snorted, "You don't know yet, do you? Song Qingyou is going to marry my brother."

Her words were like a pebble thrown into water. Fu Wenzhou froze, turned to look at her, his eyes filled with a sinister and terrifying light: "Say what you just said again."

Startled by that chilling gaze, Ruan Yinyin unconsciously took a step back, but her words were sharp: "She's a divorced woman; it's an honor for her to be chosen by my brother. Hmph, I wonder what tricks she used to bewitch him. Tsk, I think you have no chance, don't even think about it..."

Before she could finish speaking, the figure had already disappeared.

Ruan Yinyin stomped her feet in anger.

As night deepened, the north wind howled past the window.

Song Qingyou lay on the rattan chair, her throat itching terribly. She pressed a handkerchief to suppress a cough: "Mr. Ruan, I hope you can give me an explanation regarding the rumors about our upcoming marriage. I don't remember agreeing to it; you took it upon yourself..."

With a "bang".

The door was kicked open suddenly.

Startled by the loud noise, Song Qingyou paused for a moment before hanging up the phone. Her delicate features appeared somewhat aloof in the moonlight: "Are you crazy?"

Before she could finish speaking, Fu Wenzhou had already walked over in a few steps, grabbed Song Qingyou's ankle, and the gritty feeling in his palm startled her so much that she shrank back.

He failed; he gripped tightly, firmly imprisoning those white jade feet.

"Song Qingyou." Fu Wenzhou's eyes were deep, his gaze pressing down on her. His hand slowly caressed her ankle, then he reached out and pulled off the ribbon in her hair, wrapping it around her ankle. "You were sleeping in my bed yesterday, and today you're going to marry someone else."

He tied it up, one loop after another, his smile sinister and ugly: "No wonder you wanted to distance yourself from me."

Song Qingyou was tied up and unable to move. The smell of alcohol and strong perfume wafted over her, and she could hear Fu Wenzhou's increasingly heavy breathing beside her ear. She keenly sensed that something was wrong with the man. "Untie the ropes."
