The two nodded and watched Edward leave slowly. Mu Han glanced at Lu Zhizhi beside him, then turned and walked into his room 211, gently closing the door. Lu Zhizhi also returned to the adjacent room 210.

As soon as he entered the room, Lu Zhizhi couldn't help talking to himself: "Hanhan came alone, and the annoying Han Yi didn't come with her. It's great." An uncontrollable smile appeared on his face. He paced back and forth in the room, feeling as light-hearted as if he had a bird in his arms.

Elsewhere, Mu Han was leisurely packing his luggage. Just as he folded his clothes and put them in the closet, there was a knock on the door. He walked over slowly and opened it. Standing at the door was none other than Lu Zhizhi.

When Lu Zhizhi saw him open the door, he immediately smiled gently: "Hanhan, are you going to sleep now?"

"Soon," Mu Han replied calmly, "Mr. Lu, what's the matter?"

There was a hint of anticipation in Lu Zhizhi's eyes: "I'm a bit bored and want to talk to you. Is Hanhan okay?" When he said the word "Hanhan", he deliberately softened his tone, with a hint of imperceptible intimacy.

Mu Han thought about it and since he couldn't fall asleep for a while, he stepped aside and said, "Come in."

Lu Zhizhi was immediately delighted and walked in quickly.

"Please sit anywhere." Mu Han said, turned around and poured a glass of warm water, slowly placed it on the coffee table in front of Lu Zhizhi, and sat down on the sofa opposite.

Lu Zhizhi took a sip from his water cup and asked casually, "Isn't Mr. Qi coming with you?"

"No," Mu Han raised his eyes to look at him, "What do you want from my master?"

Lu Zhizhi smiled and continued, "Then do you know why he didn't come? This matter has something to do with Mr. Edward."

Mu Han felt a hint of curiosity, but his face remained calm: "Oh? Then tell me about it."

Lu Zhizhi suddenly changed the subject, saying jokingly, "Hanhan, give me a kiss and I'll tell you."

Upon hearing this, Mu Han's face darkened slightly, and his tone became a little colder: "Then Mr. Lu, please go back."

Seeing this, Lu Zhizhi quickly put away his joking expression and said with a flattering smile: "I was just joking, I'll tell you right away."

Mu Han raised the corner of his mouth slightly, without saying anything, just motioning him to continue.

Lu Zhizhi then became serious and said slowly: "Mr. Edward and Mr. Qi Siyi, they used to be a couple."

"What?" Mu Han suddenly opened his eyes wide, obviously shocked - his master had never mentioned this past event.

Lu Zhizhi looked at his surprised expression, smiled, and continued, "It's true. Back then, due to family reasons and some misunderstandings, we couldn't make it to the end. Mr. Qi was also in City C at the time, and we were about to get married, but Mr. Qi's parents found out."

"His parents firmly disagreed, saying they would die in front of Mr. Qi if they didn't break up. Edward refused to give in and refused to break up no matter what. Mr. Qi's mother had no choice but to find Edward alone, offer him five million, and say, 'I'll give you five million, just leave my son.'"

"What did Mr. Qi say at that time?" Mu Han asked, his heart also rising.

"Mr. Qi said, 'Your son and I are truly in love,'" Lu Zhizhi mimicked his tone. "Then he left. Later, Mr. Qi's mother, not wanting to harm her son, attacked Edward... I'm not entirely sure what happened, but I only know that Mr. Qi left City C and never returned."

Mu Han was stunned for a long time. After a long while, he looked at Lu Zhizhi and asked, "How did Mr. Lu know all this?"

"My uncle told me," Lu Zhizhi explained, "He had dealings with Mr. Edward before and knew some old stories."

Mu Han nodded, but his heart was in turmoil—it turned out that his master had such a past hidden in his heart. He checked the time and stood up. "It's getting late, Mr. Lu, you should go to bed early."

"Good night." Lu Zhizhi also stood up, looked at him deeply, and then left slowly.

The next morning, Edward called Mu Han and asked him to wait downstairs. Mu Han paused as he passed by Lu Zhizhi's door, but ultimately went downstairs without knocking.

When he got downstairs, he saw the driver from yesterday. The driver smiled and said hello: "See you again."

Mu Han also responded with a smile: "You're the one who will pick me up? I thought it would be someone else. Then let's go?"

The uncle waved his hand: "No hurry, get in the car and wait, there's still someone else to wait for."

Mu Han smiled and nodded, then opened the car door and got in. Just as he fastened his seatbelt, his phone rang. The screen showed Han Yi. He hesitated for a moment, then took his time to pick up the phone.

Han Yi's aggrieved voice immediately came from the other end of the phone: "Why didn't you tell me you were going to City C?"

Mu Han felt a little guilty and explained, "I saw that you were very busy recently, so I didn't want to disturb you."

"No matter how busy I am, I have to know where you've been," Han Yi's voice sounded even more aggrieved. "If I hadn't asked Xiao Wang, you still wouldn't know. No, I'm going to find you now."

"Don't come," Mu Han hurriedly stopped him, "I'll be back tomorrow, see you then."

Han Yi had no choice but to give up: "Okay, I have something else to do, so I won't talk about it for now."

After hanging up the phone, Mu Han looked out the window and saw the driver talking to Lu Zhizhi. A moment later, Lu Zhizhi opened the passenger door and got in, turning to look at him tenderly: "Why didn't you tell me you were coming to City C? I called you and you didn't answer."

Mu Han avoided his gaze and said nothing.

Lu Zhizhi didn't care, and continued in a tone so gentle that it could drip water: "Hanhan, you look very beautiful today."

Mu Han remained silent, and didn't even look at him. The car started slowly, and Lu Zhizhi just stared at him without blinking, his eyes gentle and affectionate. Mu Han felt uncomfortable being stared at, and reluctantly turned his head to look out the window, pretending to enjoy the scenery, but his heart was in turmoil.

He thought back to his previous life—when he sat in Lu Zhizhi's car, he would always rack his brains to find topics to talk about, but he rarely responded, and he would just talk to himself the whole time. Thinking about it now, it was really stupid and ridiculous.

Along the way, Lu Zhizhi's eyes never left Mu Han. After a while, the car stopped at the entrance of a grand exhibition hall. The two of them opened the door almost at the same time and got out.

Mu Han looked at the scene in front of him and felt vaguely familiar - he had received an invitation here in his previous life, but when Lu Zhizhi knew about it, he would not let him come no matter what, and even said harshly: "If you dare to go, never come back." At that time, he finally compromised.

Edward had been waiting at the door for a long time. Seeing them coming, he greeted them with a smile: "You're here. Feel free to look around inside. Oh, and don't forget there's a dinner party on the first floor tonight. Go find your seats first."

Mu Han nodded, looked around the hall, and finally found the seat marked with his name. When he got closer, he couldn't help but be stunned - Lu Zhizhi's seat was right next to him.
