Rose

Rose

The next day, Mu Han was so bored in the studio that he walked over to Luo Wanghan and said with a smile, "Xiao Wang, do you have time?"

Luo Wanghan raised his eyes slowly and said in a relaxed tone: "Yes, what's the matter, Brother Han."

Mu Han's smile deepened: "How about going shopping with me?"

Luo Wanghan looked at him and asked casually, "Brother Han, that's OK. By the way, have you found that house yet?"

Mu Han responded slowly: "I've seen it, that's why I'm going shopping and buying some things."

Luo Wanghan's eyes lit up and he smiled and said, "OK, shall we go now?"

The two of them went to the clothing street first. Luo Wanghan was excitedly browsing among the clothes racks, occasionally picking up a shirt or jacket to try on Mu Han, muttering, "This one is elegant, Brother Han, why don't you try it?" "This color will complement your skin tone, it will definitely look good on you."

Mu Han was pushed by him to try on several sets. Looking at Luo Wanghan busying around, he said slowly: "Xiao Wang, you pick a few too. I'll pay."

Luo Wanghan smiled and waved his hand: "No need, I just bought it a few days ago, and I really don't want to buy it now."

After nearly an hour of shopping, the shopping bags piled up half a person's height. At the checkout counter, Mu Han said to the receptionist, "Could you please send these things to Room 517 in the new city area? Thank you."

After saying that, he and Luo Wanghan turned around and left, and then went to a nearby home furnishing store and bought some small items such as pillows and incense.

In the blink of an eye, it was noon. Luo Wanghan rubbed his stomach and said with a smile: "Brother Han, let's go eat?"

Mu Han looked at the time and suggested, "What should we eat?"

Luo Wanghan blinked and said in a coquettish tone: "Brother Han, I want to eat the food you cook."

Mu Han was stunned for a moment, then smiled and said, "Then let's go buy some food and cook in the house I just bought?"

Luo Wanghan immediately cheered: "Oh yeah! Hurry up, I can't wait."

Arriving at Mu Han's new home, Luo Wanghan put down his things and looked around, his eyes sparkling: "Brother Han, this place is so beautiful! I like the decoration style so much."

Mu Han felt relieved by his praise and said with a smile, "I'm glad you like it. You can just wander around first. I'll go to the kitchen to cook. There are drinks in the refrigerator, so help yourself."

Luo Wanghan replied "Okay", turned around and ran to the backyard, shouting: "I'm going to check the backyard!"

At the end of this month.

In the morning, Mu Han saw that everyone in the family had woken up, and gently suggested: "I'm going to move into the new house today. Do you want to go and see it?"

Han Yi was the first to raise his hand: "Go! I want to go!"

Mu Han's mother glanced at Mu Han's father and said slowly, "Your father and I will join in the fun."

Mu Han smiled and nodded: "Okay, then you guys get ready and we'll set off in half an hour."

Arriving at the door of the new house, Mu Han's mother looked at the surrounding environment and nodded with satisfaction: "The environment here is nice, quiet and clean."

Mu Han raised his chin proudly. "Of course I did. I looked around a lot and carefully selected this place. The interior is almost ready. Want to go in and take a look?"

Pushing the door open and entering, Han Yi looked around and exclaimed sincerely: "This place is really nice, with good lighting and a comfortable layout."

After touring the house, Han Yi and Mu Han's father went to the company first, and Mu Han's mother also met up with friends, leaving Mu Han alone at home. He tidied up the clutter for a while, and finally had some free time. He sat on the sofa, holding a glass of warm water in his hand, turned on the TV and randomly changed channels, enjoying the rare quiet time.

Not long after, there was a knock on the door.

Mu Han was wondering: I just moved in and didn't tell anyone else, who could it be? He walked over slowly to open the door, and as soon as he opened it, he saw Lu Zhizhi standing outside.

Mu Han was a little surprised and asked slowly, "Mr. Lu, how did you know I was here?"

Lu Zhizhi's eyes were gentle as he looked at Mu Han's face, with a subtle tenderness: "I went to your studio to look for you, but you weren't there. I went to your previous home, but there was no one there either. So... I just did a quick check."

Mu Han frowned helplessly: "Please, Mr. Lu, don't check my whereabouts next time. Also, Mr. Lu, what can I do for you?"

Lu Zhizhi took a half step forward and softened his voice: "It's nothing serious, I just haven't seen you for a long time. I miss you, Hanhan."

Mu Han's expression faded a little, and his tone was distant but polite: "If there is nothing else, please go back, Mr. Lu."

Lu Zhizhi's eyes darkened, with a hint of grievance: "Hanhan, do you hate me so much? Can't we just be friends?"

Mu Han said patiently, "We can be friends, but Mr. Lu, please be more careful in the future. Who I hate or like is my own business."

After saying that, he didn't look at Lu Zhizhi again and closed the door gently.

Mu Han turned and walked towards the sofa, but he felt a little confused. After a long while, he couldn't help but walk to the window and look down. Lu Zhizhi was still standing downstairs, his figure looking a little lonely in the morning light.

"Mu Han, I can't fall in love with him again. I can't make the same mistake again." He muttered to himself and forced himself to look away, afraid that he would soften his heart if he looked at him any longer.

As for when Lu Zhizhi left, Mu Han no longer paid attention.

But from that day on, every morning when Mu Han opened the door, there would always be a fresh rose at the door, as red as a small flame, lying quietly on the doormat.

Summer was almost over. One morning in early August, Mu Han was quietly painting in his studio. Outside the window, the leaves of the sycamore trees were turning yellow, and a few birds were hopping on the branches. He was lost in thought as he watched.

At this moment, there was a gentle knock on the door.

It was Han Yi who pushed the door open and came in, holding a folder in his hand. He smiled and asked, "Hanhan, are you free tomorrow?"

Mu Han came back to his senses and put down his paintbrush: "What's wrong?"

Han Yi took a few steps closer and smiled gently: "It's not a big deal, I just need a dance partner."

Mu Han raised an eyebrow: "Yes, what is it for this time?"

Han Yi explained, "Well, it was my uncle's idea. He wants to promote some newcomers to the entertainment industry. There's a small exchange meeting tomorrow, and he wants us to go and see it. It can also be considered as helping him to support the scene."

Mu Han thought about it and replied with a smile: "OK, when?"

Han Yi immediately said, "I'll pick you up around five tomorrow afternoon?"

Mu Han nodded: "Okay."
