Chapter 109 "A good horse is ridden"

After the meal, most of the foreign guests returned to their rooms for a midday rest, while some approached the hotel manager and requested to visit other factories.

Ruan Xianxian leaned against the window, propping herself up on her elbows and chatting with the girl inside who was making her coffee. Out of the corner of her eye, she glanced at the unfamiliar face staring at her menacingly.

She tilted her head and gestured towards the girl making coffee, asking, "What's that?"

The young woman, a staff member at the Lakeside Hotel, was about the same age as Ruan Xianxian. Upon hearing this, she peeked over and lowered her voice:

"The translation team invited by the province, did you see those tall and particularly beautiful women? I heard they are all saleswomen from Friendship Department Store, temporarily seconded."

The refined-looking middle-aged men at the next table were quite distinguished; they were teachers from worker-peasant-soldier universities across Heilongjiang Province.

After saying that, she handed a cup of instant coffee to Ruan Xianxian: "Here! Drink up."

Don't drink too much of that bitter coffee, it'll make you nauseous. A former colleague of mine almost had to be taken to the hospital because he got dizzy from drinking too much coffee.

The aroma wafted through the air as Ruan Xianxian, with coffee and creamer, picked up her cup and took a sip, praising the young girl's skills to the point that her face turned red.

They were chatting and laughing when suddenly a crying sound came from next door, bringing their joyful conversation to an abrupt halt. Looking in the direction of the sound, they saw that a woman at the saleswoman's table had suddenly buried her face in her arms and started crying.

"Xiaoyun, it's not your fault. Some people are just taking things too seriously and doing shameless things. They don't even feel ashamed when they steal other people's things."

After saying that, he glared at them. Ruan Xianxian blinked, completely bewildered.

The girl making coffee leaned halfway out of the window and whispered in Ruan Xianxian's ear:

"The girl who cried, Xiaoyun, was responsible for accompanying Diana today. She almost ruined things when the foreign guests clearly expressed their interest. Be careful, or they might take their anger out on you."

Xiaoyun wiped away her tears, raised her pretty face, and shook her head at her companion, "Lili, don't say that. It's my own fault for not being capable enough. It's not anyone else's fault."

The thought of not receiving the bonus and not being able to pay for Grandma's medical expenses makes me very sad.

I'm sure that woman must have been facing financial difficulties at home, and had no choice but to take the Diana order from me.

"Why do I feel like she's talking a little strange?" Ruan Xianxian whispered to the girl making coffee.

It's not that she doesn't understand the tricks of the "white lotus" (a term used to describe a seemingly innocent but actually manipulative woman). Her cousin is like that, but she's used to showing off in front of her. Her sarcastic and effeminate manner is quite different from that of a "white lotus."

She took her coffee cup with great interest, walked over to the table, sat down, and winked at Xiaoyun with an admiring tone:

"You're amazing! How did you know my family was having difficulties? My grandfather had a stroke and is bedridden with diarrhea. What about your grandmother? Does she also have diarrhea?"

Xiaoyun: ? ? ?

Everyone: ? ? ?

Someone at the teacher's table next door burst out laughing.

Xiao Yun's pale face flushed crimson, unsure of what expression to make. She grabbed Ruan Xianxian's small hand resting on the table and shook her head.

"You don't have to do this. You can't curse an old man just to make an excuse. If you want the order, I'll give it to you. I'll find a way myself. I'll be fine."

Her words made her colleagues feel sorry for her. What a good girl she was. She was already being harassed and wronged by foreign guests at her job, and now she had to be bullied by her own compatriots here.

A woman named Lili, standing up for her, slammed her hand on the table and glared angrily at Ruan Xianxian:

"Aren't you going too far? Do you know how important Diana's prize money was to Xiaoyun? Don't you have hands or a mouth? You only feel happy when you steal other people's money?"

They followed the foreign guests back to the hotel and naturally witnessed Ruan Xianxian's behavior.

Not only did she seduce Diana into abandoning Xiaoyun and seeking her out, but she also stirred up the emotions of all the foreign guests with just a few words.

If it weren't for the explicit prohibition against infighting before the training, they would have gone to her to demand an explanation long ago. She clearly has the ability, and they are all comrades-in-arms. What's wrong with helping Xiaoyun?

This caused Xiaoyun to only dare to sob quietly after the foreign guests left.

Ruan Xianxian ignored the murderous look in Lili's eyes; she only felt that Xiaoyun across from her was a really good person.

She grabbed the other person's hand and her large, bright eyes sparkled: "Really? I want it. Give me all the orders."

Of course, Diana doesn't count; who else could it be?

Xiaoyun: ? ? ?

Xiaoyun fell silent again, silently casting a pleading look at Lili. Lili was furious. "That's enough! Kind people are bullied, and good horses are ridden. You..."

Before she could finish speaking, Ruan Xianxian suddenly stood up straight, walked behind Xiaoyun, and climbed onto her with both hands and feet.

"What are you doing?" Everyone was shocked and stood up and backed away, but Xiao Yun was forced to be pinned down by Ruan Xianxian.

She quickly climbed onto Xiaoyun's shoulders, wrapped her arms around her head, and exclaimed, "Good horse! Giddy up!"

Shocked, everyone retreated even further.

What happened before our eyes was truly beyond everyone's expectations.

Only Lili was pulling at Xiaoyun with both hands, trying to pull her off Xiaoyun's shoulders, her voice cracking: "What are you doing? Get down quickly."

Riding on Xiaoyun's shoulders, Ruan Xianxian tilted her head in confusion: "Didn't you say that a good horse is ridden by someone? I'll test whether she's good or not!"

After saying that, he hugged Xiaoyun's head tightly, as if afraid of falling, and grinned.

"You know what, this horse is actually quite kind. Why don't you all give it a try?"

Everyone: ? ? ?

He couldn't help but back away again, afraid that this guy might ride on his head at the slightest provocation.

Just as Xiaoyun broke down in tears, Ruan Xianxian kept urging the horse on, forcing it to run a lap for her, leaving everyone at a loss...
