Chapter 102 Nothing Seems to Happen
Yunxue was silent for a while, thinking in her heart that Jinxi was so kind and would not lie to her.
"Xue'er, don't you believe me?" Xu Jinxi's voice was slightly aggrieved.
"No, Jinxi, I believe you..." Yunxue hurriedly explained and told Xu Jinxi what she had done.
Xu Jinxi's eyes darkened on the other end of the phone. How could Yun Xue be such a loser? She had already found out where Ji Jinhe would appear, but she just went to complain to someone.
Really can't accomplish anything.
Xu Jinxi suppressed the disgust in her heart and comforted her: "Xue'er, you have done very well, but don't go next time. Safety is the most important..."
Yun Xue responded "OK" on the other end of the phone. After she was discovered, several men in black took her away, questioned her, and then sent her out of the villa overnight.
After sending her out, they left her on the side of the road. She didn't dare to call her brother late at night for fear of being scolded.
It took more than an hour to find a nearby hotel, where I managed to rest for a night.
Yunxue was both angry and scared. She didn't dare to cause trouble to Ji Jinhe anymore. The Qi family was not someone to be trifled with.
As she thought about it, Yunxue's expression froze for a moment. Ji Jinhe was the second daughter of the Qi family, so what her brother had done before...
Yunxue hurriedly picked up the phone and made another call.
"Hello, Xue'er." Yun Qi's slightly tired voice came from the other end of the phone.
"Brother!" Yun Xue shouted anxiously, "Get out of the capital!"
"Don't make a fuss. Why would I leave the capital for no reason..." Yun Qi rubbed his eyebrows. Xu Zhenqu was in a hurry for money recently and wanted to get rid of all those children.
He was responsible for contacting people to confirm their identities with the code, so he was very busy.
"Ji Jinhe's identity is not simple!" Yun Xue interrupted him, "Ji Jinhe is the second daughter of the Qi family. What you did to her before...she will not let you go!"
"I knew it a long time ago." Yun Qi said calmly on the other end of the phone, "If she knew that the car accident was not an accident, she would have come to me a long time ago."
He comforted Yunxue, "Don't worry, my brother didn't leave any traces. She won't find out about us."
"But..." Yun Xue hesitated and wanted to say something else.
"Alright," another phone call rang from Yunqi's end. "I'm busy here lately, so just be quiet and don't cause any trouble for Jinxi. Just act well."
Yun Qi didn't know that after the Xu family fell, Xingtu Entertainment had unilaterally banned Yunxue. He thought Yunxue was still doing well in Xingtu Entertainment.
Yunxue held the phone for a moment and hung up silently.
…
After dinner in the evening, Ji Jinhe lay on the bed with his cell phone in his hands.
Qi Xiuxu opened the door and walked in. He placed the milk that Liu Ma had warmed on the bedside table and asked, "Does it still hurt?"
Ji Jinhe looked at the phone and replied perfunctorily: "Yeah."
There was no more sound of Qi Xiuxu's voice around, so Ji Jinhe turned around in confusion.
Qi Xiuxu stood beside the bed and looked at her resentfully.
Ji Jinhe: “?”
"You don't cherish it now that you have it, right?" Qi Xiuxu pinched her chin and kissed her.
Ji Jinhe was pushed down on the bed, unable to move, and was forced to hold his head back and endure it.
After a long time, Qi Xiuxu moved away slightly, reached out and gently stroked her lips that were shining with moisture, his voice hoarse.
"Um?"
Ji Jinhe opened her mouth slightly and panted, squinting her eyes as she looked at a handsome face very close to her.
His lips were slightly pursed, and there was a dangerous look in his eyes.
"How could that be?" Ji Jinhe narrowed her eyes, raised her head slightly, and sucked his tightly pursed thin lips again and again.
Then Ji Jinhe was pressed down and kissed again. When they separated, Ji Jinhe leaned against his shoulder and said, "You haven't showered yet."
"Together." Qi Xiuxu picked the person up and walked towards the bathroom.
The cup of warm milk eventually cooled down and was never drunk.
…
The bathroom was filled with mist. Ji Jinhe was sitting on the sink with a large mirror behind him.
"Look," Qi Xiuxu put his arm around her waist, his eyes fixed on the two blurry figures of them intertwined in the mirror, "so beautiful."
Ji Jinhe's body trembled slightly, and he gritted his teeth to prevent himself from uttering a soft moan.
Qi Xiuxu lowered his head and kissed her forehead, then reached out to touch her lips: "Don't bite your teeth."
Ji Jinhe grabbed his hand and leaned forward, and for a moment both of them gasped.
There was still a circle of purple bruises on Qi Xiuxu's shoulder from the bite marks, and Ji Jinhe opened his mouth and bit the same spot.
Qi Xiuxu's chuckle came to his ears, and Ji Jinhe increased his strength as if in revenge.
Qi Xiuxu smiled and wiped the mist off the mirror, then helped Ji Jinhe turn around and let her look at the scene in the mirror.
The moment her body was in the air, Ji Jinhe hugged Qi Xiuxu tightly. She frowned and looked up to see her own face in the mirror and Qi Xiuxu's broad and strong back.
For a moment, Ji Jinhe closed her eyes in shame, calling his name word by word but intermittently: "Qi, Xiu, Xu!"
Qi Xiuxu chuckled and stopped teasing her.
…
The next morning, Ji Jinhe was woken up by the alarm clock.
The hand around her waist loosened and then wrapped around her again. Ji Jinhe closed her eyes and said in a hoarse voice: "Director Qi is not going to work anymore."
"It's okay to go later." Qi Xiuxu tightened his arms.
Ji Jinhe snorted and pulled his arm away: "You haven't been to work for four days. In a while, I will doubt whether you can still buy gems for me."
Qi Xiuxu was silent for two seconds, then gently pinched her cheek and stood up.
Ji Jinhe opened her eyes slightly and looked at the crisscrossing red marks on his back, then closed her eyes contentedly and went back to sleep.
When Ji Jinhe got up again, it was time for lunch and Liu Ma had prepared lunch downstairs.
"You must be exhausted these past few days. Eat more."
Ji Jinhe touched his nose and said guiltily, "Thank you, Aunt Liu."
Aunt Liu served her food with a smile on her face. The food in her bowl was piled high. Ji Jinhe quickly finished her meal and left the villa with Cheng Feng.
On the eleventh floor of Jiasui Entertainment, Mu Zhao was sorting documents with a refreshed look on his face.
She went out for a trip alone during the holidays these days, and she looks radiant now.
The elevator opened with a ding, and Ji Jinhe strode out with a frown.
Mu Zhao brought the digestive tea he had brewed in advance to her office, and Cheng Feng followed behind her to help her carry in the printed documents.
A stack of documents was placed on the desk. Ji Jinhe took a look and asked Mu Zhao, "Why haven't they made any moves over there?"
"Those who pretended to be caught sent a secret message to Xu Zhenqu, asking him not to act rashly for the time being. They wanted to try and find out if there was anyone else behind them." Mu Zhao placed the digestive tea on the desk.
"And then?" Ji Jinhe picked up the tea and took a sip.
Mu Zhao put down his tea and took a step back silently. "It seems like nothing exploded. There should be no one behind Xu Zhenqu."
Ji Jinhe: “…”
