Chapter 115 Opening

Chapter 115: Opening Ceremony

Ye Fei couldn't help but look at Huang Rongyu, who gave her a gentle smile.

"Then I can't refuse your kind offer." Ye Fei nodded in agreement.

The gates of Wugui Pavilion opened quickly, and forces from all sides flocked in.

The Seventh Elder wasn't in a hurry. He waited until everyone had gone inside before taking out his token and handing it to the guard standing at the door.

The guard took the token and examined it carefully. After confirming that it was not a counterfeit token, he bowed to the three men and said, "Welcome to the Pavilion of No Return."

Following behind, Huang Rongyu also took out her token. When the guards saw Huang Rongyu and Huang Yingyue, they were startled and immediately knelt down on one knee respectfully: "We await Your Highness the Third Prince and Your Highness the Fourth Princess!"

Huang Rongyu put away the token and casually waved her hand, saying, "No need for formalities."

Ye Fei raised her eyes and examined the interior of the Wugui Pavilion. It was divided into three floors. The first floor was the auction hall. In the center was a round auction stage made of white jade that shone with a lustrous sheen. The thousand seats that radiated outwards from the auction stage were all occupied.

The second and third floors both have private rooms, but the difference is that the private rooms on the second floor have the character "地" (earth) on their doorplates, while the private rooms on the third floor have the character "天" (heaven) on their doorplates.

Furthermore, the private rooms on the third floor are designed to be more luxurious and exquisite than those on the second floor.

Seeing Ye Fei looking around, Huang Rongyu explained, "The seating in Wugui Pavilion is divided into classes. Those seated on the first floor are mostly from families with lesser reputations, or independent cultivators who do not belong to any particular faction."

"Those seated in the private rooms on the second floor are from large families or cultivators belonging to any powerful force, such as the seven great families other than the Phoenix Clan."

"Only those of noble and special power can sit in the private rooms on the third floor, such as rulers of various worlds, royal families of various countries, the three major advanced spiritual master academies, the three major sects, and the Holy Church."

Ye Fei gave a knowing "Oh," and said, "So we..."

“Of course we’ll go to the third floor to sit!” Huang Yingyue grabbed Ye Fei’s hand and rushed to the third floor before she could reply.

"Yingyue, don't scare Xiaofei..." Huang Rongyu shook her head helplessly.

The Seventh Elder chuckled as he watched the two girls' retreating figures: "It seems the Fourth Princess really likes Xiao Fei'er... Let's go upstairs together."

After the five arrived at the third floor, Huang Rongyu found an empty private room.

The private room was furnished with tea and snacks. The side facing the auction table was not walled off but opened outwards, with a hazy white gauze curtain hanging from the beam, ensuring maximum privacy as those outside could not see inside.

"Xiao Fei, is there anything you want?" Huang Yingyue sat next to Ye Fei, holding a piece of sweet cake in her hand, and asked curiously while eating.

Ye Fei chuckled dryly. With her current savings, it was virtually impossible for her to bid on the item she wanted at the Lingyun First Auction...

The Seventh Elder crossed her legs, one hand supporting her chin, and the other holding a teacup, taking a small sip: "Little Fei'er, if you see anything you like, just tell your sister."

Huang Rongyu said to Ye Fei, "Such a grand auction only happens once a year. Xiao Fei, don't let yourself regret it. If you don't have enough funds, I can help you."

Huang Yingyue nodded in agreement, "Yes, yes! It would be a huge loss to miss out on this treasure! My brother is very rich! You can take as many pictures as you want!"

Ye Fei: "..."

Just then, Li Yuan, who had been silent all along, raised his hand and tugged at Ye Fei's sleeve. Ye Fei turned his head to look at him, and the boy met his gaze, softly uttering a sentence: "I can help you too."
