Chapter 23 The Third Prince

Chapter 23: The Third Prince

Ye Fei glanced casually at the weapons in the cabinet; indeed, these weapons were all quite ordinary.

It might not even be as effective as the hidden weapons she designed.

"Let's go." Ye Fei led the way out of the weapon shop.

Li Yuan's eyes flickered slightly, but he didn't say anything and silently followed the girl's steps.

...

Half an hour later.

Ye Fei jumped down from the carriage and looked ahead.

The vast academy is nestled in a lush forest, surrounded by mountains, shrouded in mist and clouds, with green waters and flying birds, possessing an ultimate beauty like a secluded fairyland.

The main hall of the academy is located in the center. It is made of white jade carved with gold wire patterns. It is surrounded by green pines and cypresses. Behind it, there are tall buildings. The quiet waterside pavilions stand in a blue lake. Occasionally, a few cranes fly over and stop here.

The winding corridor is a hundred feet long, and the silver bells under the eaves tinkle in the breeze.

It is peaceful and serene, yet it is not without sanctity and grandeur.

Ye Fei sighed and looked up at the four large characters on the white jade plaque: Lingfeng Academy.

"As expected of one of the three major advanced spiritual master academies on the Eastern Continent, it truly is a wonderful place." Ye Fei took a breath of fresh air.

Li Yuan lifted the carriage curtain and got off the carriage, calmly surveying his surroundings.

Ye Fei saw a man dressed as a guard standing at the academy gate and took out the admission letter to hand it over.

The guard glanced at Ye Fei, noticing her youthful appearance and slender figure, and sneered disdainfully, "Where did this little brat come from? Get home now, this is not a place for you!"

Ye Fei raised an eyebrow. Are the gatekeepers at Lingfeng Academy really so condescending?

"What?" Li Yuan walked over slowly.

"I'm being looked down upon." Ye Fei smiled helplessly at Li Yuan, holding the admission letter between two fingers and handing it to the guard: "Brother, I'm a freshman, are you sure you don't want to take a look at this admission letter?"

The guard took the admission letter, casually flipped through it for a few glances, then tossed it aside with an arrogant expression: "Little girl, this admission letter is fake! Please, next time if you're going to pretend to be a freshman, at least do it properly. You think you can just scribble a few lines on a scrap of paper and call it an admission letter? Do you think Lingfeng Academy is some kind of messy, third-rate trash academy?"

Li Yuan narrowed his eyes dangerously. Daring to lecture someone in front of him? He's asking for death!

A murderous aura emanated from the young man, just then a clear male voice rang out from behind him: "What's all this commotion?"

Ye Fei turned her head and saw a handsome young man standing behind them.

He was dressed in a spotless white robe, with black and gold crane wings embroidered on the sleeves. His face was handsome but without a trace of femininity. His long, ink-black hair was tied up in a golden jade crown, and he wore a string of jade headbands on his forehead. His expression was gentle and his demeanor elegant, like a celestial being who had stepped out of a painting, pure and inviolable.

Upon seeing the young man, the guard knelt down in fear and bowed, saying, "Greetings, Your Highness the Third Prince!"

Ye Fei was somewhat surprised; this young man was actually a prince?

"The academy is a sacred and pure place, where no disputes are tolerated." The young man walked slowly over, glancing down at the guard. His expression was gentle, but his voice carried a hint of displeasure: "Li Qi, I hope this is the last time."

"There will never be a next time! Your Highness, please calm down!" Li Qi couldn't care less about anything else and could only kowtow quickly, his body trembling uncontrollably with fear.

Upon seeing this, Li Yuan withdrew his murderous aura, but his gaze remained fixed on the young man with hostility.

The young man turned to look at Ye Fei and Li Yuan, his lips, tinged with a pale cherry blossom color, curving slightly as he bowed and said, "I am Huang Rongyu. Li Qi was rude, and I apologize to you both on his behalf."
