Chapter 27: Hidden Weapons
Ye Fei asked, "Cultivating medicinal herbs? Could it be that the Dean is an alchemist?"
The Grand Elder nodded and said, "That's right. As for why these herbs are so close to you, perhaps it's because you are a wood-type spirit master."
However, most wood-type spirit masters cannot achieve the effect of being surrounded by plants like the girl when manipulating plants.
Could it be that her wood spirit root is different from the spirit roots of other cultivators? The Grand Elder fell into deep thought.
Ye Fei didn't ask any further questions. As a newly enrolled student, it seemed inappropriate for her to ask if she could cultivate here—especially since this was the dean's herb garden.
"Rongyu, take them to their single dorm rooms." The First Elder patted Huang Rongyu on the shoulder and smiled, "From now on, they will be your juniors, so take good care of them."
"Rong Yu understands." Huang Rong Yu bowed politely. "Then I will take my juniors away first."
After leaving the main hall, Ye Fei put the token into her bag and turned her gaze to the ethereal young man: "Since we are classmates, can I call you Rong Yu? Calling you 'Your Highness' is too formal."
Huang Rongyu paused for a moment, exchanged a brief three-second eye contact with her, and nodded with a smile, "Of course."
He was of noble status, so he was admired by many people, and those who approached him all had ulterior motives.
Only this little girl named Ye Fei had a particularly clear and carefree look in her eyes when she looked at him.
"Come on, I'll take you to check into your dorms." Huang Rongyu suddenly felt enlightened, and her mood improved.
Li Yuan followed behind the two silently, watching them. His handsome face was so gloomy it seemed like it was about to drip water.
After checking into the dormitory, Ye Fei moved into her own single room.
Although it's described as a single dormitory, it's fully equipped with personal belongings, and there's also a spacious yard with lots of plants outside.
On her first night at the hotel, Ye Fei meditated for two hours before taking out the sheepskin painting design she had bought on the street last time.
She currently has no weapons for self-defense, her cultivation level is too low, and the plants she manipulates cannot restrain opponents stronger than her. She needs to complete the design of her hidden weapons as soon as possible.
Ye Fei spent the entire night drawing.
At dawn, Ye Fei finally put down her pen and her gaze fell on the design drawing on the parchment paper.
She drew three hidden weapons: a hidden arrow in a sleeve, a seven-step deadly needle, and a flying claw.
The size and length of all parts are precisely marked, down to the last detail.
After carefully putting away the sheepskin blueprints, Ye Fei calculated that the one hundred high-grade spirit stones the old man had given her could be converted into one hundred thousand gold coins, which would be her first source of funds to purchase raw materials for making hidden weapons.
But as she designs more and more hidden weapons, the money she needs will also increase, so she needs to find a way to make money for herself...
Ye Fei practiced the Phantom Step in the courtyard for half an hour until her stomach started growling with hunger, then she left the dormitory for the cafeteria.
Before she came to check into the dormitory, Huang Rongyu had already told her the locations of some of the basic buildings in the academy.
Following her memory, Ye Fei arrived at the student cafeteria, spent five gold coins to buy several meat buns and desserts, intending to pack them up and take them back to her dormitory to eat.
Just as I stepped out of the cafeteria, a voice came from behind me: "What are you doing here?!"
Ye Fei turned around and saw a boy in white and a girl in yellow carrying food boxes. The girl pointed at her in astonishment, her face showing disbelief.
"Who are you?"
Upon hearing Ye Fei's question, Xin Feifei's face darkened: "You don't recognize me? What are you pretending for!"
Ye Fei rubbed her chin, finally remembering: "You're the one I whipped in the street last time... Xin something?"
Xin Feifei: "..."
