Chapter 278 I Believe in Them

Chapter 278: I Believe in Them

The chief pharmacist rushed over anxiously, glanced around, and asked repeatedly, "Where is that little girl named Ye Fei? Did she leave?"

"She just left, Grand Pharmacist. Do you have other business with Junior Sister?" Bai Yueze looked at the Grand Pharmacist with surprise, rarely seeing any emotion other than seriousness on the Grand Pharmacist's face.

The Grand Pharmacist sighed, glanced at Bai Yueze again, and didn't finish his sentence.

He had originally wanted to keep the little girl a little longer, but now he could only wait for another opportunity.

The Grand Pharmacist noticed that Bai Yueze was holding three porcelain bottles: "Whose pills are these?"

"Oh, these are pills that my junior sister asked me to sell." Bai Yueze said, adding with a sigh, "My junior sister looks young, but she has a real talent for alchemy. This porcelain bottle is quite heavy; it must be full of pills..."

"Let me see." The Grand Pharmacist took a bottle of pills from Bai Yueze's hand, uncorked the bottle, poured out a pill, and carefully held it in his hand to feel its texture.

Sure enough, there was a very slight trace of the Wood Immortal Spring's spiritual energy in this pill. Ye Fei had indeed formed a contract with the Myriad Spirit Flower Fairy!

The chief pharmacist took a deep breath and placed the porcelain bottle back in Bai Yueze's hand: "Take this and go sell it for a good price."

After saying that, he turned and left with a flick of his sleeve.

Bai Yueze held the porcelain bottle, somewhat bewildered.

Strange, the junior sister just left and the grand master of medicine followed right after, and he seemed a little disappointed that the junior sister left so early.

There are three days left until the start of the Trial Month.

During this time, Ye Fei has been working hard to cultivate, but she has not yet reached the threshold of a first-level Spirit King.

"Cultivation should not be rushed." Seeing Ye Fei's troubled expression, Li Yuan gently raised his hand to smooth out her furrowed brows.

Ye Fei grabbed his hand and rubbed against it affectionately: "It's not that I'm worried about cultivation. The Training Month starts in three days, and I'm worried about my teammates."

Li Yuan asked, puzzled, "Why are you worried?"

"Although we have been focusing on training, practicing combat, and completing mercenary missions in teams during this time, the Panlong Peak is a hundred times more dangerous than the Liuying Forest. Will we really make any progress?" Ye Fei sighed.

Li Yuan patted the top of her head: "You have to trust your teammates, and even more so, trust your own judgment. You personally selected them, didn't you?"

"That's true, but..."

Li Yuan didn't speak, but held her hand tightly. His fingers were cool, but his palm was warm.

He brought her comfort silently.

Ye Fei intertwined her fingers with his, and for some reason, her worries vanished. She smiled brightly at him and said, "I'm not worried anymore. I believe in them."

Li Yuan silently met her gaze. Just then, Yun Fusang's slightly mischievous voice came from outside the courtyard: "Excuse me for disturbing you."

Ye Fei looked over and saw Yun Fusang standing outside the door waving at her, signaling her to come out.

"I'm going out to take a look." Ye Fei winked at him playfully, let go of the boy's hand, and got up to leave.

Li Yuan looked down at her hands. She did not shy away from Yun Fusang at all, which meant that she had told Yun Fusang about their relationship.

Ye Fei walked up to Yun Fusang: "What is it?"

"The Grand Elder wants you to go to the Academy Hall."

Ye Fei could probably guess why the Grand Elder wanted to see her, and she flicked her sleeve: "Okay, I'll go right away."
