Chapter 41: To Kneel or Not to Kneel
Xin Ze's face stiffened, then he frowned in displeasure: "I am the eldest young master of the Xin family, one of the eight great families. How could I possibly kneel down and apologize to a little girl like you!"
"Are you going to back out?"
Ye Fei's voice suddenly turned sharp, and her dark eyes were filled with an overwhelming killing intent: "On the day I issued the challenge, your Xin family agreed to my request in front of everyone."

After saying that, Ye Fei ignored the Second Elder and turned her gaze back to Xin Ze: "My patience is limited. Kneel or not?"
The vines silently pressed against Xin Feifei's neck again. Xin Ze clenched his fists and forced out a sentence through gritted teeth: "I...kneel!"
With a flick of his sleeve, he knelt down facing Ye Fei, his kneecaps slamming hard against the floor with a dull thud.
Xin Ze clenched his fingers and lowered his proud head: "We... admit defeat! We apologize for our disrespectful words to Miss Ye that day! We are sorry!"
The training ground was eerily silent; no one spoke.
Ye Fei waved her hand lightly, and the vines quickly retreated and disappeared from the scene in a short while.
"Let bygones be bygones. This matter is over." Ye Fei lightly jumped off the stage. As she brushed past Xin Ze, she said in a voice only the two of them could hear, "If there is a next time, I don't mind silencing you two siblings forever."
