Chapter 551: Petrifying Rays
Before Ye Fei could react, Tang Qian pulled her along for quite a distance. She lowered her eyes and looked at the hand that was holding her tightly.
The next second, Ye Fei felt something surging towards her from behind like a tidal wave; the feeling was both dangerous and suffocating.
She immediately turned around and saw that the moon in the sky was shooting out a long ray of light, which instantly petrified everything it touched!
Ye Fei's pupils contracted. What was that?!
Tang Qian also sensed the danger of the ray. She stopped and waved her hand, and the deep purple lightning shield reappeared!
As the beam of light hurtled towards them, the lightning shield safely enveloped the two, completely averting them from the prospect of being petrified.
The rays will disappear as the black spots on the full moon fade away.
The entire world was utterly silent, an absolute stillness, with an unpleasant odor floating in the air, like the stench of decaying withered branches and leaves.
As the lightning shield dissipated, Tang Qian collapsed, unable to hold on any longer, her smooth forehead covered in beads of sweat.
Ye Fei could tell that the lightning shield Tang Qian had just used was a technique that consumed a great deal of mental and spiritual energy.
She took out a Spirit Gathering Pill from her ring and put it into Tang Qian's mouth.
Tang Qian was surprised, but found that the pill in her mouth melted instantly and generated a continuous stream of power, making her body feel very comfortable. She immediately sat cross-legged, closed her eyes and concentrated.
Ye Fei stood to the side, watching as Tang Qian's breathing gradually calmed down.
A quarter of an hour later, Tang Qian opened her eyes, exhaled a breath of stale air, and looked at Ye Fei with a smile: "Thank you for the pill!"
"You saved me with your lightning shield just now, no need to thank me," Ye Fei said calmly.
Tang Qian stood up, dusted off her sleeves, and looked around.
Both the land and the trees were petrified by that ray.
"By the way, what's with those rays?" Tang Qian frowned.
Ye Fei pondered for a moment, then pointed to the moon in the sky: "I suspect that this ray is related to the moon."
"Huh? Why do you say that?" Tang Qian asked, puzzled.
“When I first entered the Dark Moon Secret Realm, I noticed that the moon was a bit strange. Tang Qian also looked up at the sky and, sure enough, saw the black spots reappear on the moon.

Tang Qian quickly followed: "Ye Fei? Why are you going back?"
Without turning her head, Ye Fei said, "I need to confirm something."
Tang Qian: "...?"
The two girls walked back one after the other, finally arriving at the spot where the battle had just taken place.
As expected, the three girls who claimed to be from the Ming clan were still in the same spot, but now they had all turned into three petrified corpses!
Ye Fei walked up to the corpses and saw their crystal tokens scattered on the ground, so she picked them up one by one.
