In her dazed state, Ye Fei sensed that Li Yuan had taken her to a faraway place.

Li Yuan held her hand: "I'm here."
"Am I going to die?" Ye Fei asked him, slightly out of breath.
"With me here, you won't die."
Li Yuan's gaze fell on the large patch of blood on her lower abdomen. He gently lifted the fabric of her clothes, revealing a gruesome wound. The surface of the wound was covered with a layer of eerie green that shimmered with fluorescence.
When his gaze fell upon the faint green tinge clinging to the wound, Li Yuan's pupils contracted, and the next second, anger and hatred filled his eyes.
A beam of black light flew out from Li Yuan's sleeve, quickly transforming into a tall and slender man with fair, jade-like skin, handsome features, and deep gray, demonic eyes. His silver hair was tied into a braid and hung over his shoulders, and his expression was indifferent.
"She's your partner?" His pupils shifted, and his gaze landed on the girl's face.
"Yes." Li Yuan took a deep breath.
The man stared at the wound on Ye Fei's lower abdomen and said, "She was poisoned by the Nine Nether Flower. This poison is harmless to humans, but it is fatal to demons."

In her hazy state, Ye Fei heard someone talking.
Who is it?
After a moment of silence, she heard Li Yuan say, "I will save her."
"You only have two ways to save her life. Which one will you choose?"
Ye Fei could no longer hear what was said after that; reason and consciousness were slipping further and further away from her, and she was about to collapse.
In her dazed state, Ye Fei felt something sweet and metallic drip into her mouth. She swallowed it instinctively, and then a powerful force rushed to her head, causing her eyes to roll back and she fainted.
Li Yuan watched intently as the wound on Ye Fei's lower abdomen healed at an astonishing speed, and the layer of eerie green fluorescence on it dissipated in the faint black aura emanating from her body.
Upon seeing this, the man standing beside Li Yuan revealed a hint of understanding in his demonic eyes: "So this little girl herself possesses demonic blood, which is why she won't be killed by the demonic energy after consuming your blood."
Li Yuan stroked Ye Fei's pale and weak face and said calmly, "She can tame parasitic demonic plants and move freely in the demonic realm full of demonic energy. If it is not due to the blessing of some special treasure, then she must be a demon herself."
"Is it because she is a demon that you became her partner?" the man asked again.
