Chapter 703 I Won't Blame You

Chapter 703: I Won't Blame You

The fireworks in the night sky, once they burst into bloom, have ultimately fulfilled their mission; all they have achieved is a fleeting moment of brilliance.

However, fireworks fade quickly, and today's glorious dreams are hard to find again.

The fireworks display is still ongoing.

Everyone was tired of playing and expressed their desire to return to the academy.

Ye Fei walked at the very back, silently gazing at the jade-like young man dressed in flawless white robes, and sighed inwardly.

It would be a good thing for both of us to refuse directly now.

Hopefully he can get over this soon...

Ye Fei stopped walking, and her teammates all turned to look at her. Ye Fei smiled and waved to them, "You guys go back first, I want to wander around a bit more."

"Hey? Xiao Fei, haven't you had enough fun yet?" Yu Muhan walked up to Ye Fei and took her hand. "How about we go keep you company?"

"No need, you guys go back to the academy, I'll go back a little later."

Mu Jingshen glanced at Huang Rongyu, whose eyes were dull and lifeless, and understood what was going on. He then said to Yu Muhan, "Xiao Fei probably has other things to buy. Let's go back first."

"Okay, then Xiao Fei, you must go back soon!"

After watching everyone leave, Ye Fei walked back to the market alone.

After buying some grilled meat skewers and two jugs of sake, the girl's figure flashed into the night, finally landing steadily on the eaves high above.

She sat cross-legged, took out the short, red bone flute from her storage ring, and gently blew a sound.

The next second, a sound of air being torn apart came from behind, and a tall, beautiful woman appeared.

Ye Fei stared at her for a few seconds, then smiled and raised the bone flute in her hand: "Although it's not a critical moment right now, I just wanted to see you. You won't blame me, will you?"

Chi Ye took a few steps forward, glanced at the kebabs and wine jug she had placed beside her, and his eyes flashed.

She then tossed her dress, sat down beside Ye Fei, and said, "Of course I won't blame you."

"Want some?" Ye Fei handed her a skewer of grilled meat.

Chi Ye took the roasted meat, her cool gaze falling on the glistening oil on the meat, and she couldn't help but raise her eyebrows slightly.

"Your Highness! Why did you leave so suddenly?!"

A hurried voice rang out, and then a handsome man dressed in black emerged from the torn space.

When Qingzhu saw Chi Ye and Ye Fei sitting together, she was taken aback at first, then respectfully bowed to Ye Fei: "Miss Ye!"

Ye Fei waved her hand: "No need to bow to me. I am just a junior and cannot accept the bow of a sacred beast."

Following closely behind Qingzhu appeared Ling, dressed in a colorful dress. She peeked out from behind Qingzhu, and her eyes lit up the moment she saw Ye Fei. She immediately rushed over and hugged Ye Fei, exclaiming, "Little Fei! Little Fei! Long time no see!"

Ye Fei was suddenly embraced, both amused and exasperated: "Long time no see..."

"I was wondering why His Majesty the Holy Emperor was just dealing with affairs when he suddenly tore through space and disappeared. It turns out you were calling for him." Ling patted Ye Fei's head like she was petting a small animal. "Did something happen?"

Ye Fei shook her head: "Nothing happened, I just wanted to see Your Highness."

Without hesitation, Chi Ye shoved the kebab in his hand into Qing Zhu's hand, his gaze lingering on the girl's face for a few seconds before he suddenly asked, "Are you unhappy?"

"Hmm?" Ye Fei paused while munching on her grilled meat, then smiled and said, "It's not that I'm unhappy, it's just... I want someone to keep me company."
