Chapter 83: At All Costs
Ye Fei gently stroked the raised skin on the back of her hand and sighed again.
She didn't hide anything, and sat up, extending her left hand to Li Yuan: "I encountered Thorn, who planted a demonic plant called Prisoner Orchid on my body."
Li Yuan glanced down at the thing on the back of her hand, his eyes darkening slightly.
"He also said that I cannot be separated from the Prisoner Orchid except by death." Ye Fei pursed her lips, looked up at the sky outside, and murmured, "Is there really no other way in this world to remove the demonic plant from its host?"
Li Yuan shook his head: "As far as I know, there isn't."
He stared at Ye Fei's profile and suddenly realized something.

Li Yuan's lips curled up almost imperceptibly: "As expected."
"Your Excellency, Ancestor Qiu Yu has agreed to refine the Nine-Turn Ice Jade Pill for you, but there are two conditions."
"Heh, you dare to make demands of me?" Li Yuan's eyes were cold. "Speak."
Jiang Bai said, "First, we must not demolish his medicinal herb garden at Fufeng Spring. Second, we must wait for him for another year."
Li Yuan narrowed his eyes dangerously: "Wait for him for a year? Don't even mention a year, I don't want to wait even a month."
The presence of the toxic flames restricted many of his movements, making it the first time since his birth that he felt so helpless.
