Chapter 897 Becoming a Disciple

Chapter 897: Becoming a Master

Upon seeing this, Ye Fei immediately walked towards the direction where the beast bones had flown.

The animal bones finally stopped in front of a teahouse.

Ye Fei looked up and stared at the teahouse. The beast bone stopped. Did that mean Shun was inside?

Thinking of this, Ye Fei raised her hand to push open the tightly closed teahouse door.

Just then, a staggering figure rushed towards her, and Ye Fei was hit before she could dodge.

Hey! What are you doing?!

Ye Fei turned her head and saw a man holding a bottle of liquor. He looked fierce and was filled with an extremely unpleasant smell of alcohol.

The man was clearly drunk, barely able to stand, and pointed at Ye Fei, swaying as he yelled, "You brat, you hurt me! Pay up...pay up now!"

Ye Fei asked coldly, "What money do you mean, 'pay up'?"

"What else could it be but money for medical treatment!"

"..."

Ye Fei didn't want to talk to someone who was drunk and acting crazy, so she put away the animal bones, pushed open the teahouse door, and went inside.

When the man saw that she was completely ignoring him, he immediately flew into a rage, cursing, "You...you brat, if you dare not pay me back, I'll strip you naked and sell you on the black market!"

As he spoke, he reached out his hand towards Ye Fei—

court death!

A fierce glint appeared in Ye Fei's eyes, and a faint golden dragon pattern flickered between her brows. Just as she was about to kill this damned drunkard, another tall, black figure suddenly appeared in front of Ye Fei!

Before the man could react, the overwhelming pressure forced him back!

With a loud thud, the man's back slammed against a wall.

The pain brought him to his senses, and when he looked up, his pupils contracted sharply: "You, you are the Jade-Faced Asura!"

Jade-faced Asura?

Ye Fei looked at the man who appeared in front of her. He was dressed in black, with black hair and black eyes. His face was as handsome as a god, and his expression was indifferent. It was Shun!

Shun put his hands behind his back and swept his cold gaze across the drunkard's face: "I don't want to kill anyone tonight, get lost."

"I...I'll get out right away! I'll get out right away!"

The drunkard looked as if he had really encountered a ghost, and was so frightened by Shun that he fled in a panic.

This sudden commotion, or rather, because of Shun's sudden appearance, caused many passing cultivators to show expressions of fear. They didn't even dare to look at him and ran away as if they had encountered some kind of monstrous flood.

Before long, most of the cultivators on the street disappeared. Ye Fei guessed that they had probably all been scared away by Shun.

Shun didn't show much emotion in response; he slowly turned around and looked at the girl behind him.

Ye Fei handed the pale white beast bone to Shun, then clasped her hands in a respectful bow: "Senior, this junior has come to keep the promise."

Seeing her composed and confident demeanor, a hint of satisfaction flashed in his dark eyes: "Come with me."

He turned and left with a flick of his sleeve, and Ye Fei immediately followed.

Hua Ling and Rong Xi exchanged a glance and then slowly walked over.

Shun first bought a bag of candy from a shop, then walked out of Fanyue City and led Ye Fei to another forest.

What came into Ye Fei's view was a small wooden house standing on the open ground.

He stopped abruptly, turned to look at the girl, and said, "From now on, you will cultivate here with me."

Ye Fei looked around, then turned her gaze to the small wooden house: "Is this the senior's former residence?"

“No, I don’t have a former residence.” Shun slowly opened the bag, poured out a candy and popped it into his mouth. “This house is what I prepared for you.”

Ye Fei was stunned for a moment. So... Shun spent half a month building a small wooden house for her?
