Chapter 187: No Different Than Jail
"Don't get up." When Fu Shangjie stood up, his father raised his hand to stop him.
Fu Shangjie's face showed displeasure: "Why can't I stand up?"
"Didn't your uncle tell you to kneel down? You scared them just now and they are angry. I suggest you kneel down until they wake up and forgive you." said Nian's father.
Fu Shangjie's face turned ugly: "Is this what my cousin-in-law meant?"
"Who knows?" Father Nian looked at Nian Yuxue and said, "If you want your great aunt and uncle to protect you, you have to please them. This is a rare opportunity."
"I understand." Nian Yuxue walked towards Fu Shangjie, placed her jade hand on Fu Shangjie's shoulder and patted him gently: "Just kneel down. Now only your great aunt and great uncle can help you gain a firm footing."
"Okay, I'll kneel. Wife, you go in and sit down first, don't tire my son out." Fu Shangjie's eyes were full of fatherly love when he looked at Nian Yuxue's belly.

In the evening, Nian Luochen and Nian Qingyi woke up and went downstairs. They saw someone kneeling in the yard and became curious.

Fu Shangjie snorted coldly and sat down on the sofa.
Being so rude, it was Nian's father's turn to look unhappy. To be honest, if Fu Shangbei hadn't been unwilling to have any more contact with the Nian family, he really would have looked down on a playboy like Fu Shangjie.
