The man was stunned by the fall and the bag in his hand fell. Su Qingyun picked up the bag slowly, and the woman just arrived panting.
"I told you not to steal my bag! I told you not to steal my bag!" The woman was so angry that she kicked the man twice in hatred.
The man curled up on the ground in pain, and the woman turned her gaze to Su Qingyun and the other man.
"Huh?" The woman exclaimed in surprise, her eyes filled with delight. "Girl, it's you two!"
Su Qingyun smiled and said, "Sister, I didn't expect it to be such a coincidence."
This woman was none other than Wang Ru, the military wife whom she and Ji Yue met on the train last time. The provincial capital was so big, but she didn't expect to meet her again. It was really fate.
She returned the bag to Wang Ru.
"Of course you two helped me again." Wang Ru smiled brightly. "I don't know how to thank you yet."
"It's just a matter of convenience. It's not worth thanking for." Su Qingyun said casually. She looked at Wang Ru.
She looked much more generous than when she first came to the provincial capital. I guess she was living well here and her spirits had lifted.
"That's impossible," Wang Ru disagreed. "Since we met, it was fate. How about we have dinner together?"
"This..." Su Qingyun hesitated.
As the two were chatting, a police officer patrolling the street arrived and frowned when he saw the man lying on the ground unable to get up.
"What's going on?"
"Comrade from the police, this guy just stole my bag." Wang Ru said quickly, fearing that the police might have misunderstood something.
"Stealing a bag?" The policeman frowned and his expression became more stern. "Handcuff the man." The young policeman behind him immediately handcuffed the man on the ground.
"This is my ID." Wang Ru took out her ID.
The police officer glanced at it and was a little surprised when he saw the words "Military Family Members" on it, but his expression immediately softened. "Don't worry, we will investigate and give you an explanation."
