"That's not the case." Deputy Director Tang shook his head.
"Then..."
"He was arranged by Deputy County Chief Chen." Deputy Factory Director Tang continued.
Director An's breath got stuck in his throat before he could even breathe. He couldn't believe it. "Who? Deputy County Magistrate Chen?"
"No, isn't Su Congjun from the countryside? How could he be arranged by Deputy County Chief Chen?"
"What's wrong with being from the countryside?" Deputy Factory Director Tang snorted. "Let me tell you, it's because of Su Congjun's sister that he was able to come to our factory. Deputy County Chief Chen was only doing it for that girl's sake."
"What?" Director An was even more surprised. "That little girl?" Isn't she just pretty and smart? Could she be so capable?
"It's her." Deputy Director Tang nodded. "That's why I told you to be nicer to Su Congjun before. He has someone behind him." Although the higher-ups didn't mention any special treatment for Su Congjun, the fact that Deputy County Chief Chen could speak for him was already special.
"It's just a tool, you can lend it to me." Deputy Director Tang made the decision. It would be good if people could remember their steel plant in a good way. Besides, it wasn't a big deal.
"Okay, I understand." Director An nodded, and his respect for Su Congjun increased again. No wonder the factory arranged for Master Wen to guide him.
However, Su Congjun never mentioned these things in the factory. Although he was young, he was still calm in his work, and Director An had a better impression of him.
He quickly informed Su Congjun, who then sent a message to Su Qingyun. Su Qingyun went to the county again and successfully got the tools she wanted.
The most important tools were now available, and Su Qingyun and Ji Yue both breathed a sigh of relief. Now, they could get started!
The two of them were caught up in an unprecedented bustle. There was less than a month left until the deadline to submit their work, so they had to hurry up.
Because after the seed drill is made, they still have to test it in the field, and it won't be successful in one go.
Su Qingyun also had to go to the village experimental site to help. For a while, Su Qingyun was so busy that even the time for eating and sleeping was greatly reduced.
Su Aimin felt sorry for his daughter, "Yunyun, if you continue like this, your body won't be able to bear it. Listen to your father and take a rest."
"I know my own body, Dad. Don't worry about me. I'll be fine once I'm done with this busy period." Su Qingyun pressed his tired brows and wrote today's progress report in the notebook.
Su Aimin sighed, "Look at all the students here, how many of them are as tired as you?"
Su Qingyun found it funny, "Dad, we are all elementary school students in this school, can we compete with me?"
"Don't we have college students in our village? I don't think they're that busy." Su Aimin curled his lips. "For example, Li Wenwen, she doesn't do much serious work, but she's busy with other things."
"What's wrong with her?" Su Qingyun asked curiously, "Didn't she hurt her leg? Why is she still not quiet?"
"She injured her leg, and it's been almost half a month now. She can barely walk with the help of a cane," Su Aimin said. "Now that she can walk, there's no more peace, right? Someone in the village saw her again. Lin Jianfeng was trying to get close to her, but Li Wenwen's brother was on high alert, so he couldn't succeed."
At this point, Su Aimin suddenly revealed a gloating smile, "I heard that the captain applied to the higher-ups to transfer Lin Jianfeng."
"Transferred?"
"Yes, it would be best to transfer him to a remote farm so that he can't harm others." Many villagers would probably like to hear about this and agree with it wholeheartedly.
Being transferred to a remote farm means doing hard labor, and someone like Lin Jianfeng probably can't handle it. Moreover, in such a remote place, there may be no chance of returning to the city. He might waste his whole life there.
Su Qingyun smiled, but she didn't feel any sympathy in her heart. She just felt that it was all Lin Jianfeng's fault, but she always felt that this matter might not go so smoothly.
Her father has heard about it, so Lin Jianfeng might have heard it too. He will definitely not sit there and wait for death, but will try every means to stay.
Su Qingyun guessed correctly. Lin Jianfeng had indeed heard the news and was anxiously trying to find a solution.
He cursed Qin Youfu eight hundred times in his heart. Lin Jianfeng felt that he had not done anything against the law or crime, so why should he be transferred away? If he was transferred away, would he ever be able to return to the city in this life?
Lin Jianfeng was so anxious that blisters appeared on the corners of his mouth. He didn't know what to do. He had no one here and no power, so he couldn't rely on anyone.
After thinking it over, he gritted his teeth and went to find Li Wenwen.
He specifically chose the time when everyone was at work to avoid others and went to the school. Fortunately, this was a village school and there was no security, so Lin Jianfeng slipped in directly.
Li Wenwen was lying in the dormitory. Ever since her brother found out that she wanted to sneak out to see Brother Lin two days ago, her crutches were ruthlessly taken away by Li Wenjun. She couldn't walk far with her limping legs, so she had to stay in the dormitory and wait for her brother to come back from work to feed her.
"Wenwen, Wenwen."
Li Wenwen was staring at the ceiling in a daze when she suddenly heard a voice calling her softly.
She sat up suddenly, moved her legs off the ground, and slowly leaned towards the window. Sure enough, a head was looking out the window. Li Wenwen was overjoyed.
"Brother Lin, why are you here?"
Lin Jianfeng smiled, "Look at what you said. I've always wanted to come see you. It's not because of your brother... There's not much chance."
