The family arrived at the town bus station, ready to take a bus to the county and then to the city. Just like last time, they took a bus from the city to the capital.
But when he arrived at the town station, Su Qingyun saw someone who shouldn't be there.
"Ji Yue, why are you here?" Su Qingyun looked at him in surprise.
Ji Yue was standing at the entrance of the station, with a thin layer of sweat on his forehead. He had obviously been waiting for a while. When he saw Su Qingyun, his eyes lit up, "I came to see you. I have something to tell you."
"What did he say?" Su Qingyun was puzzled. Weren't they together yesterday? Why didn't he say what he wanted to say yesterday?

Su Qingyun stared slightly, not quite believing it, "That's all?"
"And..." Ji Yue hesitated for a moment, but still said, "In previous competitions, we were partners, and I was always with you, but this time... you are fighting alone. I can't help you at all, I can only watch you move forward."
"But I won't stand still, Qingyun, believe me, I will try my best to catch up with you! One day, we will move forward side by side again." Ji Yue's eyes were firm and he spoke decisively. He would not let the gap between him and her get bigger and bigger.
Ji Yue listened to the sound of rain all night last night and looked at the night scenery outside the window. He couldn't fall asleep all night. He knew that at dawn, Su Qingyun would set off to participate in the competition. This was her first trip that had nothing to do with him.
If he said he had no disappointment in his heart, he would be lying. But he couldn't possibly stop someone from running towards a better future, could he? Ji Yue hopes that the relationship between him and Su Qingyun is one of mutual progress and mutual achievement, rather than him just watching her back as she walks further and further away. Ji Yue took a deep breath and said, "Come in quickly. Uncle and aunt are waiting for you inside."
"Okay." Su Qingyun was about to go in, but suddenly stopped.
"What's wrong?" Ji Yue looked at her puzzledly.
Su Qingyun looked around. It was still early and there were not many people coming and going in the station. She glanced at Ji Yue, suddenly took two steps forward, and gently hugged Ji Yue.
It was a very light hug. Before Ji Yue could even react, Su Qingyun had already let go of his hand with a bright smile on his face. "I'm leaving. Wait for me to come back with good news."
Ji Yue was stunned and didn't respond.
Su Qingyun smiled lightly and entered the station.
She hugged him? She hugged him? This was the only sentence circling in Ji Yue's mind.
He covered his wildly beating heart with his hands. The girl's fragrance seemed to have not dissipated from his nostrils yet, and the soft hug seemed to have not left yet. He was wearing a short-sleeved shirt, and he felt that the skin on his arm that was touched by Su Qingyun just now was burning like fire. This heat spread to his limbs and bones, and his whole body was about to boil.
He turned around and watched the figure walk away, his eyes were very deep, as if he wanted to engrave it deeply in his heart.
"Fuck me! What was that brat doing just now? Let go, don't hold me, I'm not going to be called Su if I don't beat him to death today!" Su Aimin, who had been watching this side secretly, exploded instantly when he saw the two hugging each other, and was about to run back to attack Ji Yue.
Qin Ying desperately held him back, "Alright, alright, didn't you see? It was our daughter who took the initiative to hug her, why did you hit her?"
"I don't care. Doesn't he know how to hide? He just lets people hug him like that? Doesn't he have any shame?" Su Aimin was so angry that he blurted out everything.
Qin Ying was speechless for a moment and let go of him. "Then go ahead. I wonder if your daughter will blame you if you dare to attack Ah Yue today."
As expected of someone who understood Su Aimin best, he stopped dead in his tracks with just one sentence. However, he still said stubbornly, "I'm doing this for Yunyun's own good. What can she blame me for? She's still so young, she doesn't understand anything."
