It was Wang Biyun who came to open the door. She was stunned the moment she saw Lu Cheng.
"Aunt Wang, it's me." Lu Cheng put on a smile and handed over the things in his hand. "I heard that you and Uncle Qin were back, so I thought of coming to see you."
"This is the Rain-Predawn Longjing tea that Uncle Qin likes to drink, and the sesame cakes from the shop you like to eat, and..." Lu Cheng introduced the things he brought one by one.
Wang Biyun looked at him in disbelief. She really didn't know how a person could be so shameless. After causing them such a big trouble, he could still come to their house as if nothing had happened.
If the past had not been so vivid, she would have really thought that there was something wrong with her memory. The person in front of her did not seem to be the one who caused the Qin family to suffer misfortune, but an ordinary descendant.
"We don't need you to come and see us!" Wang Biyun's usually kind face turned cold. "Hurry up and leave! Don't force me to drive you away!"
After she finished speaking, she was about to close the door, but Lu Cheng was quick to block the door with his foot.
"No, Aunt Wang, I can explain what happened in the past." Lu Cheng said hurriedly, his expression looking extremely sincere, as if he really had something to hide.
"What's there to explain?" Wang Biyun didn't buy it.
She and Lao Qin have treated him as their son for so many years, how could they not see the calculations behind his hypocritical face? People may be wrong for a while, but they cannot be wrong for a lifetime.
"Lu Cheng, we just came back and don't want to have a conflict with you for the time being. Please don't force me to curse!" Wang Biyun has been a teacher all her life and has always been kind to others. This is one of the few harsh words she has said.
She didn't want to see Lu Cheng, but she also didn't want to lose face because of such a person, so she didn't want to disturb other people in the compound.
"Take your feet away!"
Lu Cheng didn't move, and Wang Biyun couldn't resist his strength. The two of them were in a stalemate for a while, neither of them giving in.
"Biyun, who is it?" Qin Weiguo asked loudly when he saw his wife went out to open the door and didn't come in.
"No one." Wang Biyun didn't want her husband to see Lu Cheng, so she lied.
When Lu Cheng heard Qin Weiguo's voice, he was delighted and raised his voice, "Uncle Qin, it's me, Xiao Lu!"
Who? Qin Weiguo in the room suddenly thought he was hallucinating.
Qin Ying's eyes widened in disbelief. "Lu Cheng is here?"
Is this person looking for trouble?
"Lu Cheng?" Qin Weiguo's eyes flashed with anger. "He dares to come?"
He stood up and strode out the door.
"Dad, Dad, calm down." Qin Ying was afraid that something might happen, so she hurriedly followed him out, and so did Su Aimin.
The whole family went out and saw the stalemate between Wang Biyun and Lu Cheng.
"Uncle Qin!" Lu Cheng was overjoyed when he saw Qin Weiguo. "You're finally back. I've been thinking about you all these years."
"You're thinking about me?" Qin Weiguo sneered, "Why aren't you still alive?"
"Uncle Qin, what are you talking about? Why would I think that?" Lu Cheng's smile remained unchanged, but he felt a little sad. "Uncle Qin, I missed you a lot during these years when you were away."
"Of course, it's not what I want. You have to believe me, I really have no intention of harming you." Lu Cheng said it very sincerely, and when he was deeply moved, he even shed tears.
Qin Ying and Su Aimin were simply astonished. After not seeing him for so long, this man's shamelessness once again refreshed their imaginations. People couldn't, or at least shouldn't...

A hint of gloom flashed across Lu Cheng's eyes, but his face still had an expression of begging for forgiveness.
Qin Weiguo looked at him expressionlessly, without any fluctuation on his face.
Lu Cheng cried and felt nervous. He actually understood Qin Weiguo's character and knew that it was impossible for him to forgive him. But as long as he could be a little soft-hearted and not pursue the matter any further, he would be satisfied.
The Qin family's movements were noticed by several neighbors nearby. No one came out to watch, but there were many people secretly watching from the windows.
"Lu Cheng is such an amazing person. Sometimes, I really admire his resilience."

"Of course you don't have to be afraid if you have nothing to hide." Qin Weiguo smiled. "Don't you have nothing to hide?"
"I..." Lu Cheng met his gaze, and the words on the tip of his tongue suddenly stopped coming out. He felt that whatever he said would be pale and powerless.
"Alright, let's go now." Qin Weiguo waved his hand. "I misjudged you. I won't hold it against you, but the higher-ups will investigate as they please. You'll have to bear any consequences."
