"You damn bitch from the He family! How dare you come here to make trouble? It seems I really didn't get you last time!" Wu Guixiang glared and rushed forward, chattering like a machine gun.

Su Congjun then recognized that it was He, whom he had only met once. His brows furrowed even deeper, remembering the incident at home where He had caused trouble. His tone became a little impatient, "Is there anything wrong? If not, I'll leave first."
"Of course there is something!" He stood in front of him, and felt unhappy when she saw how rude he was to her. After all, she was an elder, and this was his attitude?
Su Congjun paused, "You say."
He rubbed her hands and said, "What else can I do? Of course it's about your marriage with our Qinqin."
Now it was Su Congjun's turn to be incredulous. "What kind of marriage is this between He Qinqin and me? Our relationship was already annulled, not to mention we weren't even formally engaged in the first place. Didn't you say that yourself?"
"You can't say that." A trace of embarrassment flashed across He's face, and she gave a wry laugh. "Wasn't there a misunderstanding back then? As a mother, of course I hope my daughter can marry into a good family. If you had told the truth back then, we wouldn't have gotten into so much trouble."

He made up her mind and lay down on the ground, hugged Su Congjun's legs and shouted loudly. Su Congjun had never seen such a shameless person. He was honest and would not say anything harsh, so he could only let her go with a red face.
More and more people gathered around and started talking in low voices.
"Isn't this Xiao Su, the apprentice of Master Wen from Workshop 3? What's going on?"
"You may not know this yet, but Xiao Su is not only Master Wen's apprentice now, he's also going to be his son-in-law soon."
