"What's wrong with the boss lady these past two days? She seems quite distracted."
"That's right, even the bill was wrong last night. Did something happen to the boss lady?"
Yashe, it was not yet time for dinner, and the restaurant was relatively quiet. Two waiters huddled together, talking in low voices.
Not far away, Yuwan was sitting in a chair in a daze, with a dreamy expression on her face, not knowing what she was thinking about.
"How about we go and ask?" said a waiter.
"good."
Yuwan is very nice to everyone in the store, so the waiters also care about her very much.
"Boss lady." The two walked over.
Yuwan didn't respond.
"Boss lady." The two raised their voices.
"Well, what's wrong?" Yu Wan finally came to her senses and asked.
"It's nothing. We just noticed you weren't in good spirits, so we wanted to ask if you were feeling a little under the weather," the waiter asked with concern. "If you're feeling unwell, why don't you go home? We'll be watching over you in the store, so nothing's going to happen."
"It's nothing." Yu Wan smiled, "I was just thinking about something."
"That's good."
"Madam Boss! Madam Boss!" A security guard of the elegant house ran in hurriedly.
"What's wrong? Why are you in such a hurry? Speak slowly." Yu Wan frowned.
"Mr. Qin is here," the security guard said. "He's waiting for you outside."
Yu Wan was stunned. Mr. Qin is here? Then why doesn't he come in?
She was anxious and stood up to walk out. She accidentally tripped and almost fell. Two waiters quickly supported her.
Yuwan didn't have time to say thank you and hurried out.
The two waiters looked at each other and seemed to understand why the proprietress was distracted.
When Yu Wan walked out of the door, she saw Qin Xun leaning outside the car, waiting for her.
He was wearing a black windbreaker. Even though he was already middle-aged, his figure was still tall and straight, his eyebrows and eyes were elegant, and his whole body exuded an extraordinary temperament. People who passed by couldn't help but take a second look at him.
As soon as Qin Xun saw Yu Wan coming out, a smile appeared on his face.
"Mr. Qin." Yu Wan walked over. "Why are you here? Why don't you come in and sit down?"
"I'm going to the airport soon, so I won't take it." Qin Xun said.
Going to the airport? Yu Wan frowned slightly, "Are you going back to Hong Kong?"
"Well, I have some things to take care of, so I have to hurry back." Qin Xun nodded and said, "So before I leave, I wanted to tell you something."
"What are you...telling me?" Yu Wan smiled unnaturally and stroked the hair beside her ear to cover up. "If you come back to the capital, you can come anytime. You are always welcome at Yashe."
Qin Xun smiled and said, "What about you?"
"What?" Yu Wan didn't understand the incoherent words.
"Do you welcome me?" Qin Xun looked directly into her eyes and said softly.
"I..." Yu Wan was speechless for a second, then smiled again, "I'm the owner of Yashe, of course you're welcome."
"You know that's not what I meant." Qin Xun didn't want to beat around the bush with her, nor did he want her to prevaricate and talk about other things. "Putting aside these identities, do you welcome me?"
He looked at Yuwan with deep eyes, and there was some suppressed emotion in his eyes.
Yu Wan only looked at him for a second before looking away. "I don't know what you're talking about."
"No, you know." Qin Xun frowned, not understanding why she kept avoiding his questions. "Well, if you don't know, I'll tell you clearly."
Yuwan's expression was flustered for a second.
"Listen carefully. What I mean is, if I weren't a guest of Yashe, and you weren't the owner, but simply the two of us, would you welcome me? Or should I say..." Qin Xun paused, then said more bluntly, "I don't want the relationship between us to be just that of owner and customer."
Yu Wan was silent for a moment, then raised her head and smiled, "You're joking, we are friends too."
She was still making excuses and trying to find other things to say. Qin Xun didn't understand why.
He took a deep breath and said, "I know you know what I mean, Yuwan. We are not young anymore. They have the time and energy to test us again and again. We are different. There are some things I want to say directly."
"You know I have feelings for you, and I believe you do too. I trust my feelings." Qin Xun chuckled. "You once said that the reason we're both single until now is because we haven't met the right person."
"Before, I always felt a little bit lacking in feeling towards the people around me, but the first time I saw you, I knew clearly that the feeling I wanted was here. It's a very wonderful feeling, and it's also very unfamiliar to me, but I don't resist it. I accept it with pleasure."
Qin Xun said slowly, "At our age, it's not easy to meet someone you have feelings for. I don't want to miss it, and I don't have the time or energy to test each other, so I want to ask you directly, what are you thinking?"
"If possible, can we try it?"
Qin Xun used an inquiring tone. He had been in the world for so many years, but he had never been so patient with a woman. But towards Yu Wan, he felt that he was not wrong, and he was willing to wait for her answer.
He looked at the silent Yuwan, waiting for an answer.
Yu Wan didn't expect Qin Xun to put it so clearly. She didn't want to give a direct answer, but now it seems that she can't do it anymore.
"Mr. Qin, do you know how long we've known each other?" Yu Wan smiled faintly, "Only a dozen days."
