Chapter 601 Being Bullied

Qin Xun and Yu Wan got married in such a miraculous way. In fact, there was not much change in their life after marriage. Yu Wan continued to be the proprietress of her Yashe, and Qin Xun still traveled back and forth between Hong Kong and Beijing, but he spent more and more time in Beijing. I believe that soon he will be able to settle down completely.

Qin Xun also bought a house in Beijing as his and Yu Wan's shared home. The days passed slowly and leisurely like flowing water, and it seemed that everyone was moving in a better and better direction.

Time quickly entered 1984.

Qin Ying officially started teaching, and Su Aimin's second store opened in full swing. The business was as booming as the first store. Qin Xun and Yu Wan also lived their lives at their own pace and in their own way. Su Qingyun and Ji Yue repeated their research work day after day.

Over in Hong Kong City, Xia Qiu, a student, walked out of the school with a notebook in his arms, a smile on his face, obviously in a very good mood.

Although she was an auditor, she had performed very well this semester. The professional teacher had noticed her and not only taught her a lot of professional knowledge, but also gave her a good opportunity this time: a qualification to participate in a fashion design competition jointly organized by many fashion newspapers and design companies in Hong Kong. Their school had only five places in total, and the teacher gave one of them to Xia Qiu.

Xia Qiu's days in Hong Kong were not easy. The complex and diverse language, the unfamiliar environment, the unfamiliar classmates and teachers, and the difficult lifestyle all gave her a headache. But fortunately, Xia Qiu saw the rewards of her efforts, which made her feel that it was all worth it.

Xia Qiu was extremely happy that participating in the fashion design competition brought her one step closer to becoming a fashion designer.

She had just finished class and decided to treat herself for the first time, going out for a nice meal and then actively preparing for the competition.

Xia Qiu was thinking this when he just walked across a small path and was suddenly bumped into by someone. The papers in his hand flew all over the place and fell to the ground.

"My manuscript!" Xia Qiu exclaimed. Without even having time to look at who had bumped into her, she quickly squatted down to pick up her manuscript.

Every one of the designs on the ground was a design draft she had painstakingly drawn. It was thanks to these designs that she was able to beat other students and qualify for the competition.

Xia Qiu was picking up things in a hurry when a small leather shoe stepped on her design draft, leaving a clear footprint and the stain instantly ruined the draft.

"What are you doing? Don't you see something on the ground?" Xia Qiu was angry. He raised his head and yelled before he could see who it was.

"Of course I saw it." The beautifully dressed young girl giggled and stepped on another clean manuscript, crushing it hard. "I was stepping on yours, so of course I had to see it clearly."

"Ruolin?" Xia Qiu finally saw clearly that the other person was her classmate Li Ruolin. There were two girls following behind her, looking at her with unfriendly eyes.

She suddenly felt something was wrong. "What do you want to do?"

"I don't want to do anything," said the baby-faced Li Ruolin, smiling, but like a doll possessed by an evil spirit, her face was filled with evil. "I just can't stand seeing you so happy."

Xia Qiu pursed her lips and wanted to fight back, but she knew that she was just an auditor from the mainland and was powerless here. She had heard others talk about Li Ruolin's family background. There were officials and businessmen in her family. They were rich and powerful. She was not someone she could afford to offend.

She could only swallow her anger, quietly packed up the other manuscripts, clipped them together, and prepared to turn around and leave.

"Did I let you go?" Chen Ruolin grabbed Xia Qiu's hair. "What an impolite mainlander!"

"Ah! What are you doing? Let me go!" Xia Qiu felt pain, loosened his grip, and the manuscript he had just organized fell to the ground again.

Li Ruolin signaled with her eyes, and the two girls behind her immediately stepped forward and picked up Xia Qiu's manuscript.

"Don't touch my things!" Xia Qiu got anxious when she saw this. She didn't care about the pain and directly broke free from Li Ruolin's hand and rushed towards the other two girls.

"You can't get it, hahaha."

"I won't give it to you!"

The two men threw the manuscript back and forth, deliberately teasing Xia Qiu. In a few seconds, Xia Qiu was exhausted from running.

"Don't go too far!" She finally couldn't bear it anymore and roared.

"Too much?" Li Ruolin chuckled and looked at her strangely. "Is this too much?"

"There are even more extreme things."

She stretched out her hand, and the girl next to her handed her the manuscript with a tactful look. Li Ruolin took out an exquisite lighter from her bag, lit the fire with a flick of her finger, and without any hesitation, she directly ignited a corner of the manuscript. The flame soon burned fiercely.

"My manuscript!"

Xia Qiu pounced on him immediately.

Li Ruolin threw the burning manuscript away casually. When Xia Qiu ran over and put out the fire, the manuscript had been burned into pieces.

She touched the black ash on it, feeling heartbroken and trembling with anger.

Xia Qiu's eyes were red as she turned around and looked at Li Ruolin with gritted teeth, angrily saying, "I have no grudge against you. How did I offend you? Why did you do this?"

"Where have you offended me? Let me calculate."

"Mainland Chinese, auditors, and contestants." Li Ruolin began counting on her fingers. After she finished, she pretended to be distressed, "That's all!"

Xia Qiu looked at her hatefully and said, "I will tell the teacher all this."

"Tell the teacher? Hahaha." Li Ruolin laughed uncontrollably upon hearing this. "Our family donates millions of dollars to this school every year. Do you think the teacher will believe you or me?"

Xia Qiu stared at her, speechless.

"An auditor from the mainland actually dared to bully us. How courageous!"

"Auditors should behave like auditors. Keep your head down and don't try to show off. There are some things you can't participate in." Li Ruolin suppressed her smile and walked up to her with a sinister expression. "You'd better withdraw from the competition. Otherwise, next time, it won't be as simple as just burning your manuscript."

Xia Qiu bit her lip, feeling angry but helpless.

"Okay, let's go. This is so boring. I'm scared." Seeing that she didn't continue to resist, Li Ruolin felt bored and prepared to turn around and leave.

"Why are you leaving?" A deep male voice came from behind. "If you like playing so much, keep playing."

Who is it? Li Ruolin frowned and turned around.

At the end of the path, there stood a man in a leather jacket. He was tall and had long legs. He was smoking a cigarette and leaning against the car door. He exuded a ruffian vibe.

Who is this?
