Chapter 73
Shen Changfu was a veteran team leader at the Red Star Brick Factory's production workshop. He had excellent skills and extensive experience, and even the factory director had to give him some respect. He was also known for his honesty and integrity. So, why was he here? Did the factory already know what they were doing?
Several workers were shaking like sieves and could hardly stand in shock.
Zhang Meng didn't notice Shen Changfu's appearance at all. He took out another cigarette, lit it, took a deep puff, and the cigarette penetrated his lungs. He squinted his eyes comfortably.
A group of villagers just came to join in the fun. Zhang Meng's attitude was just too bad, and they couldn't stand it, so they spoke up for Su Qingyun. Naturally, they couldn't see what was going on, and soon found it boring and walked out.
There was only one person who had his back to the bricks and used his hands to pick at the gaps between the bricks, and his hands were covered with undried cement.
"Hey, what are you doing? Just watch, why do you want to do anything?" Zhang Meng saw this scene and shouted, "Aren't you looking for trouble?"
"No, Mengge." A worker came up to Zhang Meng with a look of horror in his eyes.
"What are you shaking about?" Zhang Meng looked at him strangely.
"That man..." The worker pointed at the man with his back to him, "He's Shen..."
"Hey, hey, hey, you don't want to listen to me, right? Stop touching me!" Before he could even say Shen Changfu's name, Zhang Meng called out again.
Shen Changfu looked at the toilet part of the school which was almost completed in front of him. He took two steps back, then took a running start and kicked out suddenly in the eyes of everyone's disbelief!
The slightly thin wall made a muffled sound, and then a brick fell down, followed by a loud crash, and the wall collapsed.
Everyone opened their mouths wide and the whole place fell silent for a moment.
Two minutes later, the crowd became restless again.
"Oh my god, who is this? What are you doing?"
"No, how come this wall collapsed when I kicked it? It's not even as strong as the mud wall in my house that I've lived in for more than ten years."
"How dare you use a building of this quality for classes? We spent so much money to build this? Don't these workers deserve an explanation?"
Su Qingyun looked at this scene and fell silent. To call this a shoddy project would be an exaggeration.
Shen Changfu looked at the bricks that had fallen to the ground and could no longer control his anger. His face was terribly gloomy. He slowly turned his head and faced Zhang Meng who was rushing towards him.
Zhang Meng, who was furious, was stunned the moment he saw Shen Changfu's face clearly. His distorted expression froze on his face, looking weird and quite funny.
"Chen...Brother Chen." Zhang Meng stammered, unable to speak clearly, "Why...why is it you?"
"Look at me strangely?" Shen Changfu said in a cold tone, "Could you please explain to me what's going on?"
"I...this..." Zhang Meng's mind was racing, trying to find a reasonable reason, but the facts were in front of him and he had no idea how to explain it.
"Can't explain?" Shen Changfu's eyes seemed to be frozen with frost. He pointed at the bricks piled nearby and said, "Tell me where these bricks came from? Has our brick factory ever sold bricks like this?"
"Who told you to use this kind of brick to build a house? This is a school. Haven't you thought about the consequences?"
Shen Changfu asked in a sharp tone, pressing step by step.
It was winter, but Zhang Meng was so panicked that a thin layer of sweat appeared on his forehead. He was extremely anxious, but now he was caught red-handed, so any explanation would be meaningless.
He knew Shen Changfu's character. To put it nicely, he was upright; to put it bluntly, he was rigid, inflexible, and stubborn. However, he had a high rank and status in the factory. Not to mention him, even his brother-in-law had to respect him.

Wait! Zhang Meng suddenly remembered something. He turned his head abruptly and met Su Qingyun's half-smiley eyes. He finally understood that Shen Changfu was the one this girl invited back from the brick factory.
Zhang Meng never thought that the girl he ignored actually went to the brick factory, and not only went there but also brought people with her.
His lips were trembling and he couldn't speak.
Several workers looked at each other and walked tremblingly to Shen Changfu, "Brother Shen, we don't want to do this either. We were forced to do it. Please listen to our explanation."
"No need to explain to me." Shen Changfu didn't want to hear this. "Go back to the factory and explain to the director."
Several people trembled even more violently, regretting deeply in their hearts. If they had known earlier, they would not have done this job. If they were caught, the factory would definitely not let it go. They might even lose this job that everyone envied.
Thinking of this, several people hated Zhang Meng even more. They had let them help the evildoer, and now everything was ruined!
"What does this mean? Is that man also from the brick factory?"
