Manager Liu didn't have time to think about it and hurriedly organized people to inquire in the surrounding area.
Taking a rare break, Lu Feng returned to his office, took off his suit jacket, washed his hair, leaned back in his chair, and lit a cigarette.
The last time is the most likely to cause an accident. If the lure of money is lost, how many people will still be willing to come?
Living expenses for these people are also a problem. After all, there are some people who have trouble even with their daily lives. Under such circumstances, even if he wanted to sell goods for Jiafeng, he probably wouldn't be able to.
Lu Feng pondered how to solve this problem for them.
In the evening, Manager Liu returned with a document on Lu Feng's desk. They had asked many people and found employees from several local newspapers, treated them to coffee, and spent some money to obtain the document.
"The newspaper with the largest circulation over there is the Real-Time News. This newspaper mainly makes up news, mostly bizarre stories. People read it like a collection of stories. It also publishes miscellaneous things like job hunting, blind dates, and lost dogs. The newspaper with the worst sales in that area is the financial newspaper."
Manager Liu recalled, "As for TV programs, they were mainly TV dramas, primarily on film and television channels. Restricted TV dramas and movies had the highest ratings, while talk shows were the fewest, mainly focusing on entertainment."
Lu Feng flipped through the two pages. They were typical of a poor neighborhood. The residents showed no interest in international, financial, or professional news. Instead, they were most interested in entertainment, short-term jobs, cheap food, and jobs that offered short-term gains.
"Contact this newspaper; we need to publish the article. Also, contact the film and television channel to see if they can air a commercial for me during a TV drama. If the price is too high, forget it. The main thing is the newspapers. Contact the other two newspapers as well." Lu Feng handed the folder in his hand to Manager Liu, thought for a moment, and decided to cater to their curiosity since they liked novelty.
"I'll give you a draft tonight, and you can publish it according to this!"
After Manager Liu left, Lu Feng started rushing to finish the manuscript. He didn't let his subordinates write it, fearing that something might go wrong. He decided to handle this himself.
Lu Feng picked up his pen but couldn't remember the words for a moment. After pondering for a while, he wrote down the title: A poor billionaire came to England.
The entire story revolves around everyday family matters, depicting how Lu Feng was bullied, looked down upon, and despised by his boss and superiors in the past, giving off a vivid sense of "don't underestimate a young man's potential."
Then he wrote that he had figured out something mysterious and profound, and became rich overnight. After spending all his money and enjoying life, he felt that being rich was too boring. He wanted to help the poor people in the world. As long as he listened to Lu Feng's class, he could become rich overnight. Not only was the class free, but he would also receive gifts.
The last part describes how wealthy people on Wall Street, upon hearing of Lu Feng's path to wealth, invited him to Wall Street. The CEO of Morgan Stanley wanted to become his apprentice, Merrill Lynch got into a fight with the CEO of Goldman Sachs just to see Lu Feng, the CEO of Bear Stearns climbed over the wall under cover of night and peered out of a fourteenth-floor window to ask for his advice, and Lambert of Goldman Sachs even knelt at the hotel entrance and wept bitterly just to see Lu Feng.
After writing several thousand words in one go, Lu Feng put down his pen, his face beaming with joy, and let out a long sigh, saying, "That was awesome!"
As the sun set, the sunset outside the window was incredibly beautiful. Lu Feng handed the manuscript in his hand to Manager Liu, instructing him to use this one as a template and distribute more copies in the coming days.
The TV station replied that the price was too high and they had given up.
As Lu Feng ate dinner, he was still thinking about how to get some start-up capital for these people. After much deliberation, he decided that he still had to go to John.
After putting down his chopsticks, Lu Feng decided not to eat dinner and went back to his office to call John.
After the call connected, the person on the other end asked, "Who is this?"
"Hello, John, how have you been lately?" Lu Feng said into the phone. "It's me, your old friend, Lu Feng from Jiafeng Electronics."
"Oh, it's you. I heard you've arrived in London. Why didn't you call me? I could have done my duty as a host." John on the other end of the phone was rather insincerely polite.
"I've been busy, but I happen to be free tonight. How about we have dinner together?" Lu Feng asked.
John frowned slightly, pondering what Lu Feng was up to. He knew about Lu Feng's arrival from the very first day, and he was basically aware of what Lu Feng had been doing these past two days. After all, they had invested so much money in this business, it was impossible for them not to care.
Moreover, John is the person primarily responsible.
"Are you having any trouble?" John asked.
"No, everything is going smoothly. The work here is progressing much more easily than I imagined. I believe that in less than a year, the European market will bring Jiafeng Electronics substantial profits, no less than 300 million US dollars annually." Lu Feng's voice was very confident.
If John hadn't known what he'd been doing these past few days, he probably would have believed his lies.
John didn't want to eat this meal; he knew Lu Feng definitely had something to discuss with him. He had already invested so much, and it wouldn't be appropriate to put more in. But he also wanted to sit down and talk about Lu Feng's ideas, which made him feel a little uneasy.
"Okay, let's meet at Carrier Restaurant!" John told Lu Feng the address and then hung up the phone.
Lu Feng instructed Manager Liu and Manager Li to make arrangements for the evening's work. He then went downstairs, took a car, and headed straight to the restaurant. It was a 24-hour Western restaurant, and while the decor wasn't particularly upscale, it looked at most like a mid-to-high-end restaurant.
Once inside, a waiter led him to a private room. John hadn't arrived yet, so Lu Feng ordered the food first. A few minutes later, the door opened, and John walked in, his gaze falling on Lu Feng. He said politely, "Mr. Lu, we meet again."
