The three girls drank quite heavily, and in less than an hour, the drinks on the table were almost gone. They were having a great time. Manager Li seemed to be an honest and upright person. After a couple of drinks, he put his arm around one of them and kept chattering away. He had obviously had his share of fun back in China.
This bar is quite large, and most of the customers are wealthy young people. Unlike smaller bars where people fight tooth and nail over girls, here, as long as you have money, there are plenty of girls to drink with you.
In situations like this, it's hard to find work, but you can't run into rich and powerful second-generation rich kids in small towns.
The wine on the table was all gone, and Lu Feng ordered another set meal. "Your boyfriend? Is she your girlfriend?"
The man glanced at Li Xiaosi, shook his head, and said, "Just friends."
"I knew it!" The thirty-year-old man chuckled and slapped the man's buttocks.
The three argued fiercely in the chaotic dance floor, hurling insults at each other. Li Xiaosi even hit the 30-year-old man. The three of them stormed off the dance floor.
"You're gay? You never told me! I've spent so much money on you, and you said you'd be with me!" Li Xiaosi angrily questioned her male companion.
These past few days, Li Xiaosi, having money in her hands, has been frequenting this bar. She met the man in front of her and they got to know each other. Li Xiaosi discovered that the man was handsome, and that his parents were middle-class and that he was their only son.
Satisfied with both his looks and family background, Li Xiaosi figured marrying him wouldn't be a bad deal. She would naturally acquire British citizenship, and if they divorced, she might even get a sum of money.
She considered the man in front of her with the mindset of family in China, thinking that as long as they talked seriously, they could get married!
Lu Feng noticed something was wrong as he watched them. The music volume also started to decrease. Security guards came over and arranged for them to argue aside, closer to Lu Feng.
"I'm warning you, don't harass us, or I won't be so polite," the 30-year-old man snapped at Li Xiaosi.
"Try being impolite, Jack. You promised to marry me. You like men? How are you going to explain this to your parents?" Li Xiaosi questioned the man in front of her.
"I don't need to explain to my parents. Besides, I've promised to marry many people. We'll see when the time comes!" Jack clearly didn't take this kind of talk to heart at all.
"I can't believe you actually cheated on me right in front of me! You're a complete scumbag!"
“I didn’t cheat. You use the front, he uses the back, there’s no cross-infection, it’s clean and hygienic, okay?” Jack said confidently.
"You!!!" Li Xiaosi was clearly shocked by this kind of worldview. She was so angry that she raised her hand and slapped the thirty-year-old man. The slap landed on his face with a crisp sound.
Without the slightest hesitation after being hit, the man slapped him across the face and roared, "You dare hit me? You're asking for death!"
"I'm calling the police!!" Li Xiaosi screamed as she was knocked to the ground.
"Report! Let me tell you, my dad works for the Public Security Bureau. Call the police if you want!" the man shouted arrogantly.
Many people in the scene looked over, but they didn't seem too excited about such a dramatic scene, clearly indicating that this was nothing new in this bar.
Lu Feng had been watching closely, and upon hearing that the man had powerful backers, he immediately stood up and said to Manager Li, "Get to work!"
