Chapter 1050 Half a Month Later

There are too many scammers and not enough fools!

Lu Feng looked at the data in the folder, lit a cigarette, and muttered, "It's still faster to make money this way in a populous country. A hundred or so houses can be bought quietly. Alright, meeting adjourned!"

Lu Feng closed the folder and looked at Manager Li, saying, "Come to my office."

Inside the office, Manager Li closed the door and looked at Lu Feng, saying, "Mr. Lu, many of the recent lawsuits have been decided. We lost three cases, and the total compensation is ten million pounds. Moreover, we spent a lot of money bribing people in and out of the court. There is not much potential left to be tapped in the market now."

Lu Feng looked up at him. Manager Li's words were clear: there was no more profit to be made in this place, and if they didn't leave now, they wouldn't be able to take a single penny with them.

"How are things at the other branches?" Lu Feng asked as he sat down.

"France is developing the best, followed by Germany, but neither is as good as here. Those countries have already reached an agreement and are trying to contain us in various ways. In yesterday's conference call, we learned that the French branch will be able to transfer 80 million US dollars this week. The other branches are still figuring out how to do it. The biggest influence is Siemens," Manager Li replied.

Lu Feng took out a folder in front of him, looked through it again, and then looked up and asked, "Returning ten billion US dollars to headquarters shouldn't be a problem, right?"

Manager Li looked troubled upon hearing this. There were too many places to spend money. These people took advantage of the fact that they were in a gray area and were a foreign company, so they were taking advantage of them much more shadyly than they would of local companies. They would ask for a small favor all the time, and the company's profits were practically reduced to less than one-tenth.

"well!"

Lu Feng sighed. It was already May, and it seemed he had to hurry up and get out of there. He sat there pondering for a while before saying, "Since pigs can't make money anymore, we can only slaughter them. Have the people below me compile a sales manual, and then have all the instructors learn it within a week. After that, sell the courses to various teams. As long as you take our courses, earning hundreds of thousands of pounds a month is a piece of cake. Understand?"

Manager Li replied that he understood and would set up the relevant department to handle the matter. At the same time, he also understood that this game was ultimately unsustainable. Selling courses now was just a means to compensate for the profits that some outsiders were eroding Jiafeng's profits, squeezing out the last bit of profit.

"Is the company I asked you to set up ready yet?" Lu Feng asked.

"It's in that folder," Manager Li said, pointing to an orange folder on the table.

“Okay, you go ahead with your work. We need to get this sales course done quickly. Promote it internally, and set different pricing levels, like three levels. Ideally, we should make those who have made money off us give it back.” Lu Feng said directly.

"I see!"

"Go on out." Lu Feng waved his hand, indicating that he could leave.

There was a small calendar on the table; it was already May 18th. Lu Feng silently calculated in his mind that he had to transfer the funds out within a month, otherwise this whole trip would be for nothing.

After sitting in his seat pondering for a long time and smoking several cigarettes, Elmi now had a relatively high level of trust in Lu Feng. Although there were fewer rumors circulating outside, the inquiries between large companies never stopped.

Siemens was extremely envious of Nokia; if they could acquire Nokia, their strength in communications would grow exponentially.

Lu Feng seemed to have figured something out. He picked up the phone to call Herman, but after dialing a few numbers, he hesitated and put the phone down, then forwarded Sean's call instead.

After the call connected, Lu Feng said into the phone, "This is Lu Feng. Are you in London right now? How about we have dinner together tonight?"

Sean was also somewhat surprised by Lu Feng's invitation on the other end of the phone. Lu Feng was definitely one of the top people in the European business world, at least that's what people outside thought. Moreover, their relationship had cooled considerably during this period.

"I'm in London, just having a meal?" Sean wanted to find out something.

"I've been feeling down lately and wanted to talk to you. Of course, it's not just about having a meal. I have something on my mind that's making me quite uncomfortable, and nothing's been going on lately. Let's chat, shall we?" Lu Feng said into the phone.

"Is it related to Elmi?" Sean asked further.

Seeing that he seemed determined to keep going, Lu Feng said directly, "If it's related to Nokia, then tell me if you're going to eat or not?"

"Eat!" Sean immediately perked up!
