Chapter 1055 Semiconductor Expo

The two sides discussed the matter at the dinner table until after 2 a.m. Herman had drunk quite a bit, and they had covered all the details of the terms and conditions.

It was getting late, so they decided to stay at the winery for the night. Sean thoughtfully booked a room for the two of them. Back in the room, Elmy closed the door, looking somewhat excited, and said, "If we sign the contract in the next few days, will this matter be settled?"

"Keep your voice down!" Lu Feng snapped at her.

This was a suite. Elmi quickly lowered her voice and moved towards the sofa, asking Lu Feng, "Will there be any major problems later? Will there be any issues with the materials and stuff?"

"Don't worry at all. All the materials were prepared a while ago, and everything is complete. Just have your dad cooperate a little, and there definitely won't be any problems in the short term. Once they find any issues, just blame it on me. Anyway, I probably won't be coming back after this trip to Europe." Lu Feng had clearly thought everything through.

With such a large sum of money, Jiafeng Electronics could easily poach a semiconductor team back to China. As for being convicted of fraud here, it wouldn't matter much if they stayed in China. Besides, if they really posed a threat to the Western world in the semiconductor field, they would probably face all sorts of charges, so one more wouldn't make a difference!

Elmi was still immersed in joy. Lu Feng was simply a benefactor in her life, helping her reach the peak twice. In her excitement, she couldn't help but rush towards him and hug him tightly.

Lu Feng looked somewhat tired. He gently pushed her away by his hands on her shoulders and said, "You're tired. Go wash up and go to sleep."

Inside the bathroom, the large bathtub was filled with hot water, with a layer of bubbles floating on top. Lu Feng lay in it, feeling slightly lost. A few years ago, he thought that as a transmigrator, he could easily overthrow this world without much effort, but now he was trying his best not to be overthrown by it.

After the semiconductor industry is established, it still needs to sell to foreign countries in the short term. However, when Kejiafeng was able to produce integrated circuits, it was tantamount to offending the whole world. Japan, the United States, and Europe would all regard him as a thorn in their side, and he might even be sanctioned and excluded from the world.

When Lu Feng thought about these things, he felt a sense of powerlessness. Powerful individuals or companies are as fragile as a piece of paper in front of an empire. Once you have something you shouldn't have, any crime can cause you to collapse instantly.

"Possessing a treasure is a crime!" Lu Feng muttered to himself.

Lu Feng sat up from the bathtub, unwilling to think about anything else. He wanted to focus on the task at hand. After washing himself up, he went into the bedroom. Elmi seemed quite excited and leaned over to him, while Lu Feng closed his eyes to rest.

The next day, he didn't wake up until late morning. He made up for the pleasure of the previous night. It wasn't in Lu Feng's style to pass up a good opportunity. He went downstairs and had a simple lunch with Sean. Hermann had already taken a private plane back in the morning. He estimated that Siemens would send a team to make contact in a maximum of two days.

Elmi was beaming and looked to be in great spirits. She skillfully cut the steak on her plate with her knife and fork, ate a piece, picked up her glass and looked at Sean, saying, "Thank you again this time. I'd like to propose a toast to you."

"Of course, I'm still considered Mr. Lu's subordinate no matter what. Besides, we all know each other now, so feel free to come to me if you need anything in the future." Sean said politely for a moment, then looked at Lu Feng and said, "Mr. Lu is leaving this time, right?"

“I will leave, but Jiafeng will not,” Lu Feng replied.

Sean raised an eyebrow slightly, clearly not believing this at all. This was Lu Feng's only chance to escape, and Sean's intuition told him that something was wrong. Not only him, but even Herman felt something was off when he talked to Sean this morning.

So they called Elmi's father, who vaguely confirmed the truth of the matter by saying that these things were internal matters. Herman, not one to be trifled with, recorded the entire call with a voice recorder.

Sean had a fairly good understanding of Jiafeng through Kevin. He wanted to become the technological heart of the East, but Sean also understood that such sophisticated technology was something that a weak country could not possess, much less a single company could control.

Lu Feng took the money back. If there were any problems with this contract, he would really have no way out.

Moreover, Lu Feng hasn't left himself any way out here. He's even started selling sales courses. This isn't just harvesting韭菜 (a metaphor for exploiting people), it's digging up the roots of韭菜. The mess he'll leave behind will be impossible to clean up.

Sean lit a cigar, took a puff, and looked at Lu Feng with some emotion. Who wasn't full of passion when they were young? It's just that they were defeated by reality halfway through and ended up in the embrace of money.

"I wish you all the best." Sean raised his glass and gestured slightly towards Lu Feng, saying, "I'll take charge of the consulting services between you two this time. Remember to contact me if you need any help in the future."

"Don't worry, there's absolutely no problem." Lu Feng clinked glasses with him.

After a satisfying meal, the group left the villa. The sun was shining brightly outside, and flocks of sparrows flew by, their chirping filling the air. Sean had learned a month ago that a semiconductor exhibition was going to be held in Paris, and a friend had given him an invitation. Such an exhibition was of little use to him.

But for Lu Feng, there might be something to gain. Looking at Lu Feng, she hesitated slightly.

"What's wrong?" Lu Feng noticed that something was off with the old man.

Sean took a deep breath and whispered to the translator beside him, "Tell him quietly that there's a semiconductor expo in Paris in two weeks, and I have an invitation. Ask him if he wants to go."
